"The love of money is the root of ALL evil"... now if you follow the money, you will know where all the evil is rooted, and who is master over it. (food for thought)

lol... nice thread. as if God hasn't been slowly shredding America for the past decade or so.
God has not been shredding America. America has been shredding America. We, as a country, have been tuning away from God.

Revelation 21:8
But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

... America had nothing to do with the earthquakes that hit Japan, nor with the problems regarding it's nuclear reactors and the environmental problems that resulted from them, so why would the Lord be against us for that? Did we all stamp our feet really hard and cause the quakes or something?

Stuxnet Virus Opens New Era of Cyber War

By Holger Stark
The Mossad, Israel's foreign intelligence agency, attacked the Iranian nuclear program with a highly sophisticated computer virus called Stuxnet. The first digital weapon of geopolitical importance, it could change the way wars are fought -- and it will not be the last attack of its kind.

Maybe YOU forgot that Japan bombed Hawaii at the beginning of WWII. Get your facts straight.
get your 'facts' straight before you 'vote' for any more genocide.

Project for the New American Century

"New Pearl Harbor"
Section V of Rebuilding America's Defenses, entitled "Creating Tomorrow's Dominant Force", includes the sentence: "Further, the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event––like a new Pearl Harbor" (51).

Though not arguing that Bush administration PNAC members were complicit in those attacks, other social critics such as commentator Manuel Valenzuela and journalist Mark Danner,[39][40][41] investigative journalist John Pilger, in New Statesman, and former editor of The San Francisco Chronicle Bernard Weiner, in CounterPunch, all argue that PNAC members used the events of 9/11 as the "Pearl Harbor" that they needed––that is, as an "opportunity" to "capitalize on" (in Pilger's words), in order to enact long-desired plans.

Well, your statement is a bit unclear on that. Also, Japan wasn't destroyed, only Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Two cities does not a country make. We could have added Japan as a state and conquered it like most nations used to do with defeated countries, but we instead helped build it back up and made it an independent nation again. Something most countries don't do. Oh and about food lifts to Europe after WWII. You know, the Marshall Plan. Man, it's horrible what we did, acting so Christian to a battered people, helping them like that. How dare we help people who attacked us, like Germany. We are horrible.

Oh, and that reminds me. Bataan Death March.

Propaganda is a form of communication that is aimed at influencing the attitude of a community toward some cause or position so as to benefit oneself.

As opposed to impartially providing information, propaganda, in its most basic sense, presents information primarily to influence an audience. Propaganda is often biased, with facts selectively presented (thus possibly lying by omission) to encourage a particular synthesis, or uses loaded messages to produce an emotional rather than rational response to the information presented. The desired result is a change of the attitude toward the subject in the target audience to further a political, or other type of agenda. Propaganda can be used as a form of political warfare.

While the term propaganda has acquired a strongly negative connotation by association with its most manipulative and jingoistic examples, propaganda in its original sense was neutral, and could refer to uses that were generally benign or innocuous, such as public health recommendations, signs encouraging citizens to participate in a census or election, or messages encouraging persons to report crimes to the police, among others.

I know alot of people who believe the doctrine I teach. I went to Assembly of God Bible college. I don't think you come from the same background. Anyways, I don't have anything more to say.
Attack of the Super Apostles

Are you hearing phrases like "Obey, Apostolic Mandate, Five Fold Ministry, Tithing, Honor the Pastor, Set Man, Theocracy, Under Authority, Covering, Robbing God, or Submit" at your church?

Cultwatch's web servers are running hot as Christians rush to download Cultwatch's in depth expose of the "Super Apostles". If you are a Christian you need to read these articles. Get informed and get warned about the Super Apostles' clandestine push to mainstream Mind Control practices in the Christian.......

So, let me see if I have this straight. America destroyed Japan by creating an earthquake and then using Stuxnet to attack and disabling the nuclear power plants and further destabalize the economy and ecology of an economic and political ally, because Israel was able to do it to a military threat. Is this what you're saying?

Well, since you provided only a definition of what propaganda is but no context in which to determine how you meant it, I'm going to have to guess that you're thanking me for standing up to people who are using propaganda. Because, let's face it ... We did help rebuild Japan and restore autonomy, and we did help rebuild Europe when we weren't obligated to. I don't even need books, my mom told me about it herself, she was alive when it happened, and anyone would would deny concrete historical reality must be engaging in a kind of propaganda.

We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. No tongues=No Baptism in the Holy Spirit. We believe in salvation and baptism for those who are saved in water. What happens during salvation is symolized in water baptism. We believe once you have believed in your heart and confussed with your mouth the Lord Jesus that you are saved. This is followed by water baptism which symbolizes being buried with Christ and risen into new life. We believe that the same thing happens during salvation that you do with the exception of calling it the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. You are the only one I know who believes that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit happens to all believers upon salvation, with no speaking in tongues. A person is saved by faith, baptized in water in obedience to Scripture, and Baptised in the Holy Spirit by the will of God with the evidence of speaking in tongues

Everyone (with the exception of you) I have ever met, gone to church and Had fellowship with (which would number in the hundreds. maybe even thousands in my 30 years as a christian, and many churches I have been to in my travels while in the military) believe baptism of the HS happens to all people at the moment of salvation. Some differ as some believe this does not happen until one is water baptized. But all agree. one is not saved until this happens.

You are the only one I have ever heard deny this.

One can not possibly be saved unless romans 6 and 1 cor 12 are completed.

Rom 6:

3 Or do you not know that as many of us as were BAPTIZED into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? 4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, 6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. 7 For he who has died has been freed from sin. 8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, 9 knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him. 10 For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God. 11 Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

1 cor 12:

13 For by one Spirit we were all BAPTIZED into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into[c] one Spirit.

If you have not been baptized into the body, you are not a child of God. and are still outside the body.

col 2: 11 - 12 In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body 8of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, 12 buried with Him in BAPTISM, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead.

No wonder you did not want to discuss these passages. They refute everything you just posted about baptism.

If these baptisms mentioned in these 3 passages are not done. YOU ARE NOT SAVED!

Many believe these three are water baptism.

many believe they are HS Baptism.

either way, without them, we ALL AGREE, you are not saved.

Your on your own bud!

I like the way you approached this. If it weren't for God's good, His graciousness in the face of our own wickedness; we would have continued in our sin, every imaginable abomination in His presence; Believing somehow that we were hidden from Him.

To overcome evil with good requires our Lord's treasure. And for some who haven't heard, we are His treasure. We are to give of ourselves, and the gifts He has shared with us. Will there be waste? Absolutely! But as stewards, we are to encourage some type of return, that some good comes of the gift of His love; Knowing that our Father desires that none should perish. This is how important it is to consider our own purpose in the life He gave to each of us. Thank you for standing up for good, when friends start disappearing in the face troubling. Jesus taught this through out His walk, grace in the face of evil.]

We believe those verses and teach them. I never said we don't. We don't call salvation or water baptism the same thing as baptism in the Holy Spirit. I was never against water baptism. I was never against salvation. We just don't tell people that when they get saved they have been baptised in the Holy Spirit. You have a differnt definition of baptism in the Holy Spirit, so we will never agree.
