Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, I am the God of all creation. I love you. I am He that loveth thee with great jealousy. I am He that seeketh thee in the morning and I find you not. I am He that calleth to thee all the day long. I am He that desireth good for thee and thine. I am He that loves you with great passion. Thus saith the Lord, I am He that is and was and is to come the Allmighty. I am He that sits on the Throne of David that shall never perish. I am He that sitteth on the right hand of the Father. I am He that calleth to His sheep. I am he that calleth to His servant. I am He that calleth to His lovers. Come and dine with me, the Master calleth come and dine. I am He that was slain before the foundation of the World. I am He that knoweth the toughts of men that they seek me not. Your thought are for this World and for it's glory. Seek ye first the kingdom of God. I am He that longeth to be with thee and I find you not. You desire me not. You seek me not. You call on my name and I know that you doubt. I am He that loveth thee. I am He that cares for thee. Thus saith the Lord, I am He that has called you my people. You should have asked, and I would have given you abundantly. I long to be with you all day and you seek me not. I long to be with you in prayer and in the study of my Word. I long to be with you in the morning. I long to gather you under my wings. I long to be your God. To those who believe this prophecy, God speed. To those who believe the salvation of the Lord, God speed. To those who labor in doctrine, God speed. Grace and mercy from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. I long to be with you saith the Lord.

I'm inching along in my Bible reading. Do you mind quoting the Bible verse for the above - some of it sounds familiar, some of it not. Would like to refer to it. Thanks.

Yeah, those are tidbits of scripture from the bible.

I really hope Jonathan isn't trying to say these are his words...

Rosewater God loves you. This is a prophecy from the Holy Spirit. It fits the scripture perfectly. I don't really think I should look up all the Scriptures. God doesn't want me to. I believe you should write this down and look at the Scripture. I don't mind if you copy this post. I also have a prophecy for you. God wants to bless you throught the Cross of Jesus Christ. God wants to bless you by the blood of Jesus. Believe in the Cross as your only salvation. God will bless you abundantly. We are saved by the Cross. Trust in the Cross. If you trust in the Cross only you will be saved and blessed abundantly.

That isn't a prophecy. We can get every bit of that from reading the bible ourselves.

I don't think it's an actual single passage, seems more like an amalgamation of scripture and own thoughts. It's why I asked. If it is an actual verse, would like to refer to it. Perhaps he will clarify.

I see. Okay, it was as I thought. Thanks for clarifying.

Elizabeth, God gave me a prophecy for you. You will be baptized in the Holy Spirit not many days from now. You should seek the Lord. Ask God to be filled with the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues. I believe He will fill you with the Spirit where ever you are. Ask and ye shall recieve. But if you don't ask you will not recieve.

I believe He will fill you with the Spirit where ever you are. Ask and ye shall recieve. But if you don't ask you will not recieve.

You are also a false prophet.

You are taking scriptures from the bible and saying God "gave this message to you".

Deut 18:20
20 But a prophet who presumes to speak in my name anything I have not commanded him to say, or a prophet who speaks in the name of other gods, must be put to death.”
21 You may say to yourselves, “How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the LORD ?” 22 If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the LORD does not take place or come true, that is a message the LORD has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him.

Jeremiah 14:14
Then the LORD said to me, “The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I have not sent them or appointed them or spoken to them. They are prophesying to you false visions, divinations, idolatries and the delusions of their own minds.
Jeremiah 23:16
This is what the LORD Almighty says: “Do not listen to what the prophets are prophesying to you; they fill you with false hopes. They speak visions from their own minds, not from the mouth of the LORD.
Lamentations 2:14
The visions of your prophets were false and worthless; they did not expose your sin to ward off your captivity. The oracles they gave you were false and misleading.

Matthew 24 v 24
24For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect—if that were possible. 25See, I have told you ahead of time.

You say that I will be baptized by the Holy Spirit huh? Well, according to the bible if you are a REAL prophet then that will happen. If it does not happen then you have lied.
Quoting Acts 1:5 and applying it to me in your own words saying it came from God is not at all biblical.

You are telling me that I will speak in tongues? If this does not happen it is not because I do not believe, but because you are the type of person God warns Christians about. A false prophet......OH! And btw...No where in the bible does it say a prophecy will NOT come true because someone does not believe. A prophecy is something that WILL happen. Not what MIGHT happen if one does not believe.

I suggest you go back and read your bible.

actually the only prophecy that was averted was because the people believed and repented and that was the city of Niveneh and Jonah

. Everyone should read the book of Jonah. Its great...

just babbling.....that's the purpose of this thread, right?

or was it.....

Matthew 6:5
“And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward

you're spiraling deeper and deeper into it Johnathon. perhaps you should listen to the rest of the verse....

"You desire me not. You seek me not. You call on my name and I know that you doubt."

that is a lie and I rebuke it and the seeds it tries to plant in the hearts and minds of God's children. there is more but that is the most poisonous words uttered in this thread. :(

What is the purpose in telling someone that they are a false prophet? Do we imagine that we will convince the one we believe is false that they are really a false prophet?

Does scripture command us to find those we believe are false prophets and declaim them, or is it recorded that we are to beware of false prophets?

Some believe that prophecies have ceased, and for this reason all prophets are false, but why did Jesus not say "beware of all prophets."?

The only person who can gain any benefit from calling another a false prophet is the one doing the calling, and that benefit is not righteous. It does not matter if the person is a false or a true prophet, calling them false only satisfies an inner desire to be correct.

If we followed scripture as we say we do, we would not stand in their way, knowing that if they are false, they will bring swift destruction upon themselves.

Only the religiously minded tells another that they are false. The spiritually minded first prays, and then if led by the Spirit, corrects this one in gentleness with much fear, lest they be tempted also.

Sounds like advise from someone with something to gain. Like to satisfy you inner desire to be correct.
There is nothing more biblical than to speak the truth in Love. And rebuke is a command. I think false
prophets should have to wear a big silly pink hat. But i havnt found that in scripture.

Jesus is the Truth. Do you speak Jesus or the judgement of your own heart? Let God judge. No man can set himself as judge over any matter. God is both judge and just. He will be God without our own opinions to prevent him.

May Jesus bless you.

So you would rather support someone who teaches a false doctrine?

Ramon,

Nope that isnt true. It would be nice for all the false teachers and false prophets to make a rule like that
but it just isnt true. We have newtestament exhortations we must follow, and few will. To judge a mans
heart, his motives without divine revelation you would be right. But if someone comes into a forum and
isnt ready to dialogue when at the same time is giving his opinion out like youself is silly for thinking he will
get a free pass. :)

Words of encouragent yes, it being called a prohecy, that's where it goes pear shaped. Iv been to church and had people "prophesie" really its just words of encouragement, and say this the other, if it didn't witness to my spirit I just let it go, thank them and keep walking with Jesus, He is good at sorting things out, my trust is in Him and Him alone.

We don't have to dissect everything and label people if it doesn't agree, isn't that condemning??
Gods righteousness is sowed in peace not strife.
