I will extol thee, my God, O king; I will bless thy name for ever and ever.

If you had to pick only one thing to praise God for, what would you choose and why? Feel free to include a verse or two.

I started out with the phrase "all of them" as I searched for a verse and the first one I looked at was Luke 7:16

And the dead man sat up and began to speak! Then Jesus gave him back to his mother. 16 A sense of awe swept over all of them, and they glorified God. “A great prophet has appeared among us!” they said. God has visited His people!”

That's amazing enough by itself but then I saw, in the context of Jesus healing the paralytic, Matthew 9:8

And the man got up and went home. 8When the crowds saw this, they were filled with awe and glorified God, who had given such authority to men.

Especially noting the last word, "God, who had given such authority to men"...:coffee::unsure:

In this world of consant change (much of it for the worst) I love that I have found God, The solid rock. The anchor.
Not only external things but even the bodies we inhabit change. Nothing in this world is thoroughly dependable.

Praise The Lord who does not change

Psalm 102 (CSB) ~
25 Long ago you established the earth,
and the heavens are the work of your hands.

26 They will perish, but you will endure;
all of them will wear out like clothing.
You will change them like a garment,
and they will pass away.

27 But you are the same,
and your years will never end.

Numbers 23:19 ~
God is not a man, that he might lie,
or a son of man, that he might change his mind.
Does he speak and not act,
or promise and not fulfill?

Heb 13:8 ~
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Nice to have the comically treasonous witness accounted for. Amen.
we were all rebellious enemies until He redeemed us. of course, you knew that. :)

the Lord is still subduing His enemies, one by one. He's so beautiful.

I was a charter member of the galactically rebellious.

“Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.”

“Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.”

Pro 30:4 Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell?

Grace.
Jesus went so far out of His way to make The Way.
Ephesians 2:8
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:”
