So what is this really mean? Say you’re a Roman Catholic and you do believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior but you’re also following a bunch of man-made fake doctrines…
"BELIEF" (Mental assent / agreement) doesn't mean SPIT. the devil "Believes" but that means nothing.

FAITH (Heb 11:1) (ROmans 10:17) is what get it done. Catolics claim that"BElief" and "FAITH" are the same thing, but BIBLICALLY they're NOT. YOU have to hold on to, and defend "Belief", but FAITH holds on to you.

Fake doctrines are collateral issues, but FAITH in the SIN OFFERING of Jesus on the cross to cleanse you from SIN, is the single most IMPORTANT issue (Eph 2:8,9). If your FAITH is in Jesus plus nothing else, to get you "Heaven ready", you're good to go regardless of other peripheral issues.

CAtholic hang ups like: "Eucharist", "Baptism", "Confession to a priest", "Purgatorial Sanctification", "Marianism (up to a point)", "Canonized saints", etc. are nothing but "Background noise". The IMPORTANT ISSUE is FAITH IN JESUS' SIN OFFERING which makes you born again.

I think there are millions and millions of orthodox and Catholics who love Jesus with their heart.
There are a lot of Non Christians who love Jesus. It's important people believe so they can be saved.

“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

John 14:6

Catholic Church is corrupt to the core and was back in the day. I don't want to accuse someone who claims Christ as their redeemer. Because when they do, there is a chance. Always.

Though those things about the Catholic Church are true. Then again, take all religions for example, and you will repeatedly find that any religious institution fails morally and in so many other ways. Speaking from a historical standpoint, religions are the cause many suffer, feel rejection, kill each other and dehumanize other human beings for not believing like they do. To the extent that what they do becomes murder. Christ never preached that.

Example: The Catholic Protestant war that led to the bloodshed of so many lives. In the name of Jesus?? God never wanted that.
But SATAN ENJOYED IT IMMENSELY!!!!!

Right… so as you described, if you have what you described as faith in the Sin offering, the other stuff is just noise……
If we had to extrapolate that further……, if all the stuff is just “noise”…does it matter in the grand scheme of things.

SOME Roman Catholics are ALSO Born again Christians. I'd be my guess that MOST Roman Catholics are nothing but "Roman Catholics", and are trusting ROME, or their Mary thing, or their "religious activities" to save them.

But satan's BEST JOKE on Catholics is "Purgatory". Imagine his joy when a Catholic dies, finds themselves in "Purgatory", but quickly realizes that they're in HELL, they were never born again, and they're NEVER GETTING OUT!!!!!

The message of Salvation in the Orthodox Church is the theology of Theosis which is a non-static co-operative relationship with God and only God knows if we are going to be with Him or away from Him on judgment day.

Even the individual doesn't know?
Yes, that is correct.
For example i don't know where i'm going.
I know i can die for God given here and now but i don't know where i'm going later.
The Kingdom of God for me is here and now. I don't think about the future.
Unless Jesus Christ tells me personally on a dream or a vision, i can never ever say "I am saved" because i will immediately go into judgment for billions of other people that live and have ever lived.

I think that it will be a wasted conversation since i don't understand what you say about a lot of theological concepts you try to convey and it will be a waste of time since the people who have done this conversation with me, cannot overcome certain mental barriers.
Please don't take this as a wrong or right thing but that's how we all on our journey chose to follow and worship God.

I think Eli is saying that following God's will is more important now in the present and None of us are sure until we die where we are going. Until then, we need to try our best every day. People always want to will their own destination, but it's God's will, not our own.

14 “Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his wealth to them. 15 To one he gave five bags of gold, to another two bags, and to another one bag,[a] each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey. 16 The man who had received five bags of gold went at once and put his money to work and gained five bags more. 17 So also, the one with two bags of gold gained two more. 18 But the man who had received one bag went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money.

19 “After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them. 20 The man who had received five bags of gold brought the other five. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with five bags of gold. See, I have gained five more.’

21 “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’

22 “The man with two bags of gold also came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with two bags of gold; see, I have gained two more.’

23 “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’

24 “Then the man who had received one bag of gold came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed. 25 So I was afraid and went out and hid your gold in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.’

26 “His master replied, ‘You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed? 27 Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest.

28 “‘So take the bag of gold from him and give it to the one who has ten bags. 29 For whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them. 30 And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

1 John 5:11-13 + John 6:47 ~ This is that testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. I have written these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.

That testimony is found in John 3:16, John 17:3, and John 20:31. John desired that people would be saved, and, being saved, would rest in the assurance of the life they have received.

I do believe in purgatory. The Greek word translated everlasting and eternal in the scriptures is aionios-- which is the adjective form of the Greek noun aion which means "a long perion of time or an age". Much like the english word eon. Some have contended that the punishment must be everlasting because the same word is used of the life of God - eternal life - and if the punishment is not eternal then the life cannot be eternal. But that is an argument put forth by the shallow reasoning of men who reach hasty conclusions not founded on the facts. "If the punishment ends then God's life must end, if the life is eternal then the punishment must be eternal," we are told! So it seems the King James Version has translated this word wrongly. And it seems the early church's use of purgatory is way more accurate.

John 17:2-3~ You granted Him authority over all people, so that He may give eternal life to all those You have given Him. Now this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, Whom You have sent.:)
