So what is this really mean? Say you’re a Roman Catholic and you do believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior but you’re also following a bunch of man-made fake doctrines…
"BELIEF" (Mental assent / agreement) doesn't mean SPIT. the devil "Believes" but that means nothing.

FAITH (Heb 11:1) (ROmans 10:17) is what get it done. Catolics claim that"BElief" and "FAITH" are the same thing, but BIBLICALLY they're NOT. YOU have to hold on to, and defend "Belief", but FAITH holds on to you.

Fake doctrines are collateral issues, but FAITH in the SIN OFFERING of Jesus on the cross to cleanse you from SIN, is the single most IMPORTANT issue (Eph 2:8,9). If your FAITH is in Jesus plus nothing else, to get you "Heaven ready", you're good to go regardless of other peripheral issues.

CAtholic hang ups like: "Eucharist", "Baptism", "Confession to a priest", "Purgatorial Sanctification", "Marianism (up to a point)", "Canonized saints", etc. are nothing but "Background noise". The IMPORTANT ISSUE is FAITH IN JESUS' SIN OFFERING which makes you born again.

I think there are millions and millions of orthodox and Catholics who love Jesus with their heart.
There are a lot of Non Christians who love Jesus. It's important people believe so they can be saved.

“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

John 14:6

Catholic Church is corrupt to the core and was back in the day. I don't want to accuse someone who claims Christ as their redeemer. Because when they do, there is a chance. Always.

Though those things about the Catholic Church are true. Then again, take all religions for example, and you will repeatedly find that any religious institution fails morally and in so many other ways. Speaking from a historical standpoint, religions are the cause many suffer, feel rejection, kill each other and dehumanize other human beings for not believing like they do. To the extent that what they do becomes murder. Christ never preached that.

Example: The Catholic Protestant war that led to the bloodshed of so many lives. In the name of Jesus?? God never wanted that.
But SATAN ENJOYED IT IMMENSELY!!!!!

Right… so as you described, if you have what you described as faith in the Sin offering, the other stuff is just noise……
If we had to extrapolate that further……, if all the stuff is just “noise”…does it matter in the grand scheme of things.

SOME Roman Catholics are ALSO Born again Christians. I'd be my guess that MOST Roman Catholics are nothing but "Roman Catholics", and are trusting ROME, or their Mary thing, or their "religious activities" to save them.

But satan's BEST JOKE on Catholics is "Purgatory". Imagine his joy when a Catholic dies, finds themselves in "Purgatory", but quickly realizes that they're in HELL, they were never born again, and they're NEVER GETTING OUT!!!!!

The message of Salvation in the Orthodox Church is the theology of Theosis which is a non-static co-operative relationship with God and only God knows if we are going to be with Him or away from Him on judgment day.
Some light reading here:
