Actually i think the bible refers to His people as Kings and priests. So... there will be many kings, not just Jesus, that's why He is called the king of kings. The predominant king amongst all others. Just as we too are sons of God, and Jesus is the only begotten Son of God. Jesus is our brother.

  1. Jeremiah 7:18
The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.
  2. Jeremiah 44:17
But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil.
  3. Jeremiah 44:18
But since we left off to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, we have wanted all things, and have been consumed by the sword and by the famine.
  4. Jeremiah 44:19
And when we burned incense to the queen of heaven, and poured out drink offerings unto her, did we make her cakes to worship her, and pour out drink offerings unto her, without our men?
  5. Jeremiah 44:25
Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying; Ye and your wives have both spoken with your mouths, and fulfilled with your hand, saying, We will surely perform our vows that we have vowed, to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her: ye will surely accomplish your vows, and surely perform your vows.
    Revelation 18:7
" To the degree that she glorified herself and lived sensuously, to the same degree give her torment and mourning; for she says in her heart, ' I SIT as A QUEEN AND I AM NOT A WIDOW, and will never see mourning.'
Peace be to you

Amen

There is no queen of heaven

There IS a queen of heaven and it is an evil, demonic principality; a false god.
Mahogany: The Bible does not refer to His people as kings, but as Priests. There is only ONE King of the spiritual Kingdom of God. WE will minister to Him in praise and worship when all is said and done.

After further research, you are probably right. Another error in the King James version. Rev 1:6 in KJV says kings and priests. Which should say a kingdom of priests. A royal priesthood (1 Pet 2:9).

Although, most bible commentaries i've raed on this say these are king-priests. So in a way the bible does call His people kings, or more correctly king-priests. That is why Jesus is called the King of Kings, not simply the King. Because there are many kings on this earth, and I assume there will be also in heaven, those faithful to whom God gives authority over 10's of cities etc.

The NASB reads: "Rev 1:6 "6and He has made us to be a kingdom, priests to is God and Father--to Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
And Rev 5:9 "10"You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God; and they will reign upon the earth."
Beilevers, the Bride will be His Kingdom, but HE will be the King.

So if you were a KJV-onlyist, you would think it is kings AND priests. Because you must consult alternative translations to prove your point. Faucett Brown commentary expressed it the best, we are priests to God, but kings to the rest of human kind. Our Kingship is by virtue of being priests.

The queen of Heaven is (like) a blasphemy to the Bride of Christ, the Church of God... or like an irreverent bride of satan!!! - I'm still sure many things were lost in translation though!
