Jesus fulfilled the Law and the Prophets. He kept the Law perfectly and fulfilled the prophecies concerning Himself. He proved to Israel using the very manuscripts that they base their faith in that He is their promised Messiah.

As Jesus accurately predicted, the Law still exists. It's right here well-preserved in the modern day and it's there for our benefit.

I don't read the law much. How about you?
yep excellent point sometimes the point does get missed exactly what you just wrote that the law still exists.

Yep i do read the law im finding the law better for my health more than anything else.

Regardless, it is a wonderful post. Religion has come up with some doozies like: The law is dead, we are not under the law (that means we aren't to listen to it), Jesus fulfilled the law (so it s over and done with), we are under the new covenant (so we don't need the law), the law isn't for us, it is only for sinners, etc.

Religion often tosses scripture aside so they disregard verses about obedience or the spirit of the Lord in the law. The entire 119th Psalm is often tossed out by religion.

To top this off, God spoke to man in one way for thousands of years with what we call the old covenant.
God didn't speak to "man" but to the Jews specifically. The old covenant was not made with humanity at large.

They said we aren't under the law (because the law wouldn't save them) and all law is dead (because God took back the "law of Moses"). Based on truth and a complete misunderstanding at the same time.
...

Now, when man finds they sin, instead of repenting they say oh well, I have faith that saves, why should I fight myself over this sin.
When you claim that other people say something, but you don't quote them, you impair your credibility. When you are asked to provide quotations and simply refuse to do so, you make it clear that you have no credibility.

Now, who made those claims?

hi dino thanks for your opinions,, allways nice to get of to a good contridiction dont you think
The word is "contradiction". Persistent and pervasive spelling errors reflect poorly on you.

yes and absolutey i am only talking about the religion that Jesus taught,,i thought that would be obvious in a christian chat site...
All "religions" are discussed on this site, from time to time. Clarification is helpful and even necessary.

this is quite a petty contradiction but never mind

Well you got it didnt you. but i bet you wanted something else other than clarification. maybe you thought i was a law giver.. God forbid that contradiction. The thing i dont understand is Jesus gave us many laws. have you read some i think there well worth following.

You could even post one if you want to that is..

I've honestly tried to understand what you mean @de-emerald
Do you mean how religion and traditions are the 'fluff' around the core belief, and how some people get so caught up in all this 'fluff' (traditions, ceremonies, etc) that they forget about the fundamental belief?

If this is what you mean, I absolutely agree :)
