(2 Corinthians 4:4) The demons are continually active, as is their leader, Satan, who is like “a roaring lion, seeking to devour someone.” (1 Peter 5:8) The Bible contains many accounts of the existence of demons. If you believe in the Bible, then you accept the reality of invisible wicked creatures.

I just want to say to the op that peter popoff is the first self proclaimed prophet I ever met. see this happened when I was still very young in faith and I turned on the t.v. to a channel I don't remember I don't even remember what I was looking for but i remember seeing this man. I remember him coming to a what seemed like a random person saying the kind of sickness they had and the person seemed amazed as if he had recieved divine revelation and he said to the person do you believe you are healed? and the person said yes. anyways as I was watching this I had a horrible feeling in my stomach area where it felt like the holy spirit was giving me a sense of urgency almost a kind of fear. I felt as if the spirit from this man was not from God and so I quickly turned off the t.v. and went online because I just knew he had to be fake not to mention on the t.v. he was trying to sell this bottles of water that he said could heal. I went online and saw how he had been proven to be a fraud and his wife was giving him the info.

Not really sure how folks here think Catholics are our brothers or saved. Unless of course you pray to the dead and or bow down to statues, too. In other words, there is no excuse for sin, whether you claim to believe in Jesus Christ or not. Practicing axe murderers cannot be Christians any more than a Christian can bow down to statues or pray to dead people. It just doesn't work like that. Kenneth Copeland preaches another false Jesus just as the Pope preaches another false Jesus. Catholics do not even believe in Sola Scriptura or that the Bible should be the one and only spiritual authority for our lives. For all Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is PROFITABLE for doctrine reproof, correction, and training in righteousness that the man of God may be PERFECT and thoroughly furnished unto ALL good works. (2 Timothy 3:16). What need I of anything else if God and His Word helps me to be perfect and thoroughly furnished unto all good works? Do I really need some so called holy men to help me understand God's Word and or to confess my sins to? What about God? Does not the Spirit guide us into all truth? Is not Jesus Christ our advocate or Heavenly High Priest, whereby we can confess our sins to? (1 John 2:1; 1 John 1:9). The temple veil is torn and the Aaronic priesthood order is no more. For Jesus Christ is my one and only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5).

That doesn't really mean anything. Our life experiences do not trump what is in the Word of God. The Old Testament condemns sorcery and or praying or communicating to the dead. That's like Ouija Board stuff. It's evil to talk with the dead. Everyone knows that. I knew that before I was born again that trying to contact that dead was wrong and evil. Then there is the statue worship. Uh, that's idolatry. Does the Golden Calf ring a bell? Do you know the Scriptures mention how the Israelites later wrongfully made an idol out of the brass serpent? I have seen many pictures and photos of Catholics bowing down to statues of Mary. Many of them believe Mary can help them. Uh, that is an idol; And it is wrong. Then there is confessing of one's sins to a man. No, such practice ever existed in the New Testament. You have to twist the Bible in order for it to say that. Only Jesus Christ is the ONLY Mediator between God and man. You are only to pray to God (Christ). This is Christianity 101. Praying to other entities was never approved of by God. For nobody has the power like God to answer millions of prayers anyways. Then there is all the pagan and satanic symbols in Catholicism in their religioius rituals (Like upside crosses, sun worship symbols, and pagan fish hats), too. Then there is all the money that they are not willing to disclose. What do they have to hide? Then there is all the real Christians that they killed. Let's not forget about that. You know, the whole they are drunk with the blood of the saints saying in the Bible? Then there is their denial of Sola Scriptura which is a denial of he authority of God's Word alone. For we are not to place our spiritual authority in religious men and or another religious book. The Bible is our one and only authority. Catholics do not believe that. Then there is the warning from Jesus Christ, too. Jesus said beware of men who desire to dress in religious garb and who desire to be seen by men. Then there is the Eurcharist. Something mystical and magical happens in that moment for them. Uh, where is that in the Word of God? Jesus said, you will know them by their fruits. Just look at the fruits of the Catholic church. It is filled with endless sin and corruption on many levels.

I am in 100% agreement that the Catholic church is evil and wrong many levels. I could write for days on how evil that institution is. Not that I am planning to do so currently or anything. But when someone is confronted with evil. Somebody needs to speak out against it so that people can know the truth and repent of their sins so as to come out of her.

That said, I do not believe the RCC and or the Popse is the Antichrist and or one of many Antichrists. 1 John 4:3 tells us an Antichrist is one who denies that Jesus Christ came into the flesh. Catholics believe Jesus is the Eternal Son of God and that He pre-existed eternally and that He came into the flesh of a man. Granted, that does not excuse their other evils, though; And that does not mean they don't preach another Jesus (For their Christ allows for idolatry, and praying to the dead, etc.)

I'm not a fan of Catholic Doctrine, or the Roman Catholic Church...

but I think it's prudent to make a distinction between an organization,
and all the individual members of that organization.

1. I'm sure there are millions of Catholics worldwide who have virtually no idea what their official church doctrines are on almost anything. (Attacking this group is ridiculous, they don't even know what they believe.)

2. I'm sure there are millsions of Catholics worldwide who do understand Catholic doctrines, to varying degrees, and have a sincere belief (devoid of any guile or dishonesty) that the people they trust are actually telling them the truth about everything.
(Attacking these people is ridiculous, because they haven't done anything wrong except trust people they thought they could trust.)

3. Let's not forget the whole scenario of Martin Luther. He was INSIDE the Catholic Church. He was a priest. He studied the scripture, in which God revealed things to him, and he changed his views to coincide with scripture, and he came OUT of the Catholic Church. I'm sure there are others within the Catholic church reading the scripture, and many of them will also change their views, and will come out.
(Attacking Catholics in general is ridiculous because we really have no idea which of them are already searching the scriptures, and sincerely seeking after God, and looking for real answers.)

There is no way I am EVER going to just chuck my bible, and pretend all the crazy things the Catholic Church believes are alright.

But individual Catholics don't need to be beaten to death my zealous protestants.
Individual Catholics need to be loved, and prayed for, by zealous protestants.

AND I KNOW MILLIONS OF PROTESTANTS, who have NO IDEA what the Catholic Catechism says ARE THEIR ACTUAL CATHOLIC BELIEFS THAT ARE SUPPOSED TO BE TAUGHT BY THE CATHOLIC CHURCH, and YET, those same protestants, will in ignorance, pass judgement on the Catholics spouting assumed beliefs of the Catholics without really having the foggiest idea what their actual beliefs are that are printed in the Catholic Catechism.

But at least I gave them the courtesy of reading their Catechism to verify what they really teach and believe, before running off at the mouth spouting anti-Catholic statements. I agree with you here that the European union will end up being the revised holy Roman empire as the bible clearly points to in the bible as growing back into power, and the antichrist will be the main ruler over this union.
However, and I don't have nothing against my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ that are part of the Catholic church, but I do believe as well as many biblical scholars I have come across that the pope will be the false prophet. Even when I was in the Catholic church for five years I took their RCIA classes, and this was taught by them in those classes.

The true gospel is heresy to the roman church, they would be asked to leave the church.
