Agree with you.
You can actually bundle up Paul, Peter, and John together, as they teach an identical gospel.
Here are some verses from John which are identical to Paul's.
John 6:40
For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day.
John 6:47
Truly, truly, I say to you, the one who believes has eternal life.
John 7:38
The one who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water'.
John 11:25
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life; the one who believes in Me will live, even if he dies.
John 11:26
And everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?
Both of the words, 'Faith' and 'believe', are the exactly the same word in the Greek (pistis).

You can quote all you want, you've quoted three times above that we are saved through belief in Jesus. But you never address the crux of the matter. What do you mean by belief? Are you speaking of an intellectual acceptance belief that Jesus is God and Savior and therefore Scripture says you are saved? Or do you believe that belief in Jesus is more than that, believing in Jesus as God and Savior, but also believing all that He taught us and taught us to do?
I do respect your viewpoint, but what is your understanding of having faith/belief in Jesus? Do you have a truncated or full belief in Jesus and His teachings in the New Testament? Thanks.
