Not with evil He doesn't...
James 1:13
Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
You and I are not Jesus.... He must be tempted so He can do what Adam should have done in the first place... NO SIN which Jesus accomplished as He did not given in to satan's temptations.
Hebrews 4:15
For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
You don't cast down imagination and every high thing that
exalts itself against the knowledge of God? - 2 Corinthians 10:5
You don't do James 4:7?
James 4:7
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you
You don't do Ephesians 6:13-17?
Ephesians 6:13-17
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
James 1:14,15
But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
Where are we instructed to pay to the Lord.... "oh God, help me help me... the devil's after me again, help me help me!"
NO, we are to stand on God's promises and cast the devil out
Mark 16:17
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils
I'm saying we need to do what God's Word teaches when we are tempted.
No where doe we see scripture telling to to ask the Lord to get the devil off of us.
Paul tried that and it didn't work, later Paul learned about Mark 16:17, James 4:7, 2 Corinthians 10:5 which we see in the last part of the Book of Acts where the elderly Paul preached from his own rented house No Man Forbidding him to preach!
