If Rome is the sixth according to John, and supposedly comes back as the seventh, then what do we do with the eighth? John says that the beast was and is not. Revelation 13:2 confirms this and says the beast will look like a lion, like a leopard and like a bear. These three empires "were" and "is not" at John's time. Everybody knows who really conquered the Persian and the Grecian empires and who rules over it now and yet they all say it's Rome but it's not.

We all know who conquered the lion, the leopard and the bear and we know what's going on there and what the ultimate goal is in that region. And still, some hold to the idea that someday Europe or the RCC is going to turn into a vicious warmongering entity that will literally BEHEAD those who believe in Jesus. This will be done by the Antichrist who denies Jesus is the Christ (Son of God) according to John. Everyone has ignored the obvious and as you're reading this you know about what or who I'm talking about and yet I have not even called them by name. Deep within the mind, we know that this will be the reality and the Rome-is-Antichrist-story will go into the trash bin within a few years or decades when it is actually being fulfilled before the world's eyes.

When Mystery Babylon gets destroyed, the shipmasters of the sea are going to cast dust upon their heads according to the book of Revelation in chapter 18 or 19 I believe. Keep on dreaming about this science fiction story but the Bible is very clear about it what will happen and who will mourn and how they will do it, even their way of killing Christians is described and it's still ignored by the majority of eschatology students of the Bible.

The problem here though is the bible speaks of two separate forms of the antichrist;

1) spirit of antichrist - that now is and has been in the world for a while working through others to deceive people

2) Last days end times figure antichrist - that also is given the titles of man of sin, 1st beast, prince of this world, son of perdition.
No, the Bible does not speak of 2 separate forms of antichrist you do, and so do other carnally minded men because they do not understand that antichrist is a spirit that works in many deceivers. A future man figure called Antichrist is a great deception to draw people away from looking within themselves for that man of sin, whom as scripture also confirms works in many. ( in them, they, they all)

1 John 2:18
Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

1 John 2:22
Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

1 John 4:3
And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

2 John 1:7
For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

Not one verse speaks of antichrist being a single man figure yet to come in the future, just as there is no mention of a 7 year tribulation yet to come in the future to fulfill some lost week theory in Daniels 70 weeks, which is also a construct of the imaginations of carnally minded men.

Exactly you are right here !!!

And to those who keep looking in the direction of the Pope or America for the man of sin a.k.a. antichrist here are two verses for you that seem to always get overlooked:

Revelation 2:12-13
And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges;
I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.

Revelation 13:2
And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

Pergamos is in Turkey, not in Rome or America....................................

I like what I'm reading! When you put the thing about the seat in blue it's really clear.. I hadn't made this connection yet. Even without the book of Revelation, we know for a fact from the book of Daniel that the Antichrist is called the king of the north (from the northern division of the Greek empire - the Seleucid empire).

Please learn to discern from the two because even though you deny a major last end time figure the events in the world are unfolding right before our eyes to fulfill the prophecies.

Separate the two in this scripture where John is explaining both:

1 John 2:18
Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come,

^^^(Here John is speaking of the final end time figure to come.)^^^

even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

^^^(Here John is speaking of the spirit of antichrist already at work in the world)^^^

Your thinking with the mind of flesh Ken, with that carnal way of thinking God's seat would be a literal seat located in Tyre. LOL!

Ezekiel 28:2
Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord God; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:

Yes it amazes me how much from Daniel, Ezekiel, Isaiah all the way to Jesus, Paul, John, and Revelation the biblical prophecies mention a final end time figure who will lead the final 3 1/2 years before the Lord's return still gets denied by others.

Even though the bible in Revelation clearly mentions one place where his throne is at to look for this rise, and Turkey has already spoken up in support of Iran and has threatened the U.S. if any invasion or attack happens on Iran. The ties that were once strong between U.S. and Turkey is falling away. Greece is in financial crisis and ISIS controls 6 of the 10 areas previously mentioned and are threatening to take over the others.

The spirit of antichrist works through people just like the Lord our God works through us to help others.

I know you like to only look at the spiritual aspect of everything but you can not take away how it influences and works within our world. Just like the first 69 weeks of Daniels prophecy where a history study will show those 69 weeks were fulfilled in a time span of 483 years (69 x 7 = 483).

The spirit of antichrist does work through individuals and I do not reject this, as there has been many forms throughout the past and present. However the bible does refer to there being one final figure who will be influenced by this spirit for the final 3 1/2 years before the Lord returns.

Baloney Ken, not a single one of those verses I posted is speaking of a single man figure yet to come in the future, that idea is phony baloney made up doctrine of those who do not understand. If you can't find one verse of scripture to support that idea of antichrist being a single man figure yet to come in the future then why persist in the error? Some just love to make a lie.

Revelation 22:15
For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

St. John Lateran Cathedral has the official "cathedra" or throne of the Bishop of Rome, it is the oldest or "Mother" church of Christendom, and it was formerly the palace of the emperor, bequeathed to the Pope when Constantine vacated Rome for Constantinople, leaving the Bishop of Rome to fill the vacuum.

Rev 13:2 And the beast [papal Rome] which I saw was like unto a leopard [Greece], and his feet were as the feet of a bear [Medo-Persia], and his mouth as the mouth of a lion [Babylon]: and the dragon [pagan Rome / Satan] gave him [the papacy] his power, and his seat [cathedra, St. John Lateran], and great authority.

He will be appealing, not repulsive. The Bible refers to the Antichrist as a blasphemous horn (Daniel 7:24-25), as lawless (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4), and a beast (Revelation 13:1-2) hardly an attractive list of descriptions, but we know that people will follow him (Revelation 13:3), so he will present himself as an alluring leader – at first. He will be super, not ordinary; everything about the Antichrist will be extraordinary. He will possess great eloquence, charm, wit, military genius, vision, and intelligence. He will be extremely influential, charismatic, a false champion of peace, and will possess strong leadership abilities. One could even say he’s a rock star.
Daniel 8:23-24 tells us that the Antichrist is a king with fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences [which means He will be deeply involved with occult mysteries]. He will be filled with satanic power (and later become possessed by satan).
He will be a gentile, not a Jew. The Bible tells us that the Antichrist will arise out of “the sea” (Daniel 7:2-3, Revelation 13:1) indicating that he will arise out of the gentile nations, not Israel.
(Daniel 9:26) Daniel tells us that he will either rise out of the old Roman Empire or his lineage will be that from the area of the old Roman Empire. The “Prince that shall come” will come out of “The people” who “shall destroy the city”. Since it was Rome and its legions that destroyed Jerusalem in AD 70, it logically follows that the “prince that shall come” must come out of the Roman Empire and people.

John tells us: “The dragon gave the beast his power and his throne and great authority” (Revelation 13:2). The dragon is satan, the real power behind the puppet-authority of the Antichrist.
The Antichrist will have an amazing rise to power but he won’t instantly take his position as the world dictator from out of nowhere. He will not be an ordinary man walking down the street one day and the next day dictator of the world; rather, he will grow into power like a horn growing out of the head of an animal (Daniel 7:7-8). He will take over the revived Roman Empire which, in its final form, will be a European lead confederation of nations. We see this taking shape right now with the European Union (EU). We also know that at some point after or at the midway point of Tribulation, the Antichrist will move the capital of this one world government from Europe to Jerusalem (Daniel 11:4).

Notice in Daniel’s description 7:8and three of the first horns were uprooted before it”. This could either be referring to a bloody conflict that will destroy three nations or regions of this confederacy that opposes the Antichrist’s taking over of power but more likely it is referring to the removal (assassination) of the leaders of three regions in this confederacy who opposes the Antichrist’s taking over the confederacy (global government).
Charles Swindoll
While Daniel pondered the vision of the ten future kings (Nebuchadnezzar’s dream) (Daniel 7:8), he saw something new, that a “little horn” (an eleventh king, a man) will rise up among the nations of the original ten kings. The “little horn” (the Antichrist) will subdue three of the ten kings and destroy their political power. The seven surviving kings of the original 10 nations will submit to the domination of the “little horn”. This earthly leader will then begin his role as Antichrist and world dictator.

John’s vision of a great beast arising from the gentile nations (Revelation 13:1-4) mirrors Daniel’s vision (Daniel 7:2-8). John saw seven heads, probably corresponding to the original ten leaders Daniel saw, including the three that had been “pulled out by the roots” by the Antichrist (Daniel 7:8). The ten crowns represent governments and governmental authority (Revelation 13:1). The horn that arose from the midst of the ten and deposed three is a single individual – “he will speak out” (Daniel 7:25). He is named the Antichrist. By exalting himself, he will blaspheme God (2 Thessalonians 2:4). He will oppress God’s people. He will attempt to change the moral and natural laws.
Once in power, he will blaspheme God and persecute the saints (Daniel 7:25). Daniel 8:24-25 describes this clearly:

"His power will be mighty, but not by his own power,
And he will destroy to an extraordinary degree
And prosper and perform his will;
He will destroy mighty men and the holy people.
"And through his shrewdness
He will cause deceit to succeed by his influence;
And he will magnify himself in his heart,
And he will destroy many while they are at ease.
He will even oppose the Prince of princes,
But he will be broken without human agency.

The Antichrist will consolidate his armies in Israel, moving his headquarters to the Mount of Olives opposite Jerusalem (seeDaniel 11:45), knowing that the final battle will be fought there. Daniel foretold, “He will also invade the Beautiful Land. Many countries will fall, but Edom, Moab and the leaders of Ammon will be delivered from his hand. He will extend his power over many countries; Egypt will not escape.” (Daniel 11: 41-42).

That is what the Protestant movement taught in trying to make the Pope the antichrist, however we must stick to what the bible clearly says and it shows that his seat will be in Pergamos which is in Turkey.

Here is where all 7 churches from Revelation are located as well.............

Also Mystery Babylon when we look into OT propehcy:

“The burden against Dumah” (Isaiah 21:11)
“The burden against Arabia” (Isaiah 21:13)
“All the glory of Kedar will fail” (Isaiah 21:16)

These are all in Arabia, which is destroyed by Iran “Elam” (Isaiah 21:2)

Mystery Babylon is Mecca, NOT Vatican - Walid Shoebat

Don't know what happened in posting here but the scriptures mentioned above point to a main figure and what he will do, as the bible shows that this final king will rise and up root 3 others.

And prosper and perform his will;
He will destroy mighty men and the holy people.
"And through his shrewdness
He will cause deceit to succeed by his influence;

Still waiting for that verse of scripture that says "antichrist" is a single man figure yet to come in the future. If your doctrine is not in line with scripture, and can't be confirmed by a single verse of scripture then it is in error. If you build your house starting out with errors your going to end up with a whole house full of errors. :)

Well if you are still waiting then that shows you have not even attempted to read the ones I already gave, as they show he is called the king of north also and when he comes to power in the end times he will up root 3 other kings.

Go back to the OT prophecies that refer to the end times, as there are still some yet fulfilled prophecies from the OT........

I understand this can be misleading but if we would have to literally find the word Antichrist as in the person who will usher in the seven year covenant (the prince that shall come), we have to be consistent. If we stick to your way of reasoning - no hard feelings, but - where is the NAME Jesus Christ in the OT? Nowhere. Yet it is. He is called Immanuel, he is called king of kings, he is called faithul, and so on and so forth. These are titles that belong to Jesus Christ. Likewise, the name Antichrist isn't found in the OT - it was a mystery still - and he had many nicknames such as Gog of Magog, the Assyrian, Pharaoh.

Again, where is the verse, or verses of scripture that claim "antichrist" is a single man figure yet to come in the future? You and others preach a man called "Antichrist" is yet to come in the future, so by all means show where it is written. Surely you have scripture to confirm this notion? The reason you cannot provide it is because the words of God do not say such a thing. It is the construct of the carnally minded mans imagination. But even though not one verse concerning antichrist will confirm this doctrine, men still preach and promote the lie.

Well if you are not going to even seem the least bit teachable and go and read the many that have already been given to you today and in the past then I am done trying to show you. You refuse every scripture and historical proof that aligns with the word of God to keep your own theology in tact.

You have been shown multiple times by me and others scriptures to read, but by your quick responses back shows that you didn't even take the time to clearly go over them. Because studying biblical prophecy is not a quick read to learn understanding as it takes time and devotion in the word of God to understand.

I see you've been deceived as well. The antichrist spirit has already come as written, there is no such thing as a 7 year tribulation or covenant of "Antichrist", and also the Prince of this world has already been cast out of heaven to earth as Jesus confirmed in John 12:31 "Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. "

But hey why believe the words of Lord when you can make up your doctrine out of thin air.
