You are technically correct. If one reads Rev 13 we see the first Beast is the political/military leader of ten nations and we see the second Beast as a religious leader that empowers the first.

Yes that is why I do not agree with others because some just want to place it all on the Roman empire, and others want to place it all on the Muslims.

However like you mentioned in Revelation 13 we have two beasts of the end times, one is the political leader and the other is a religious leader. When we go back to Daniel 2 it shows the Iron mixed with Clay meaning it is not just one or the other, but a combination of two systems.

When we go and take a look at the eastern Roman empire nations they are all Muslim or mostly Muslim nations now.
Now lets take a look at Pergamum which is the seat of satan, it is located in Turkey !!!

lol..You are blinded by your preconcieved ideas, as usual.

The vatican has more wealth than most nations on earth.

The vatican makes money from almost every nation on earth

The vatican actually has ambassadores to almost every nation if not all. WHich means the kings of the earth look to her for guidance and suggestions

roman catholicism is actually a very large industry, which means they have to purchase alot of goods and services to keep her industry moving (making them rich)

I can go on and on and on. but you will not listen anyway. so why bother.

mecca has non of these characteristics.
Apparently you aren't reading the description very clearly either in regards to who is lamenting who had gotten rich selling to the Harlot-City-Religion.

Every shipmaster, all who travel by ship, sailors, and as many as trade on the sea, stood at a distance [SUP]18 [/SUP]and cried out when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, ‘What is like this great city?’ [SUP]19 [/SUP]“They threw dust on their heads and cried out, weeping and wailing, and saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city, in which all who had ships on the sea became rich by her wealth! For in one hour she is made desolate.’

It is those selling to the Harlot who lament, ships on the sea. It is those on the sea who throw dust on their heads and cry out.

The imports of the Vatican are miniscule. Yes they take money in, but they don't use it to buy much and that is why you are DEAD WRONG!!

Products imported by The Holy See (Vatican City) - Total Country Trade: $37.1M

OEC: Holy See (Vatican City) (VAT) Profile of Exports, Imports and Trade Partners

Do you really think $37.1 million a year spent on imports by the Vatican would be missed?

Next clue is to look at what the Vatican actually imports.

Top 5 Products imported by The Holy See (Vatican City) Refined Petroleum (48%), Packaged Medicaments (14%), Air Pumps (4.0%), Laboratory Reagents (2.2%), and Centrifuges (2.2%)

OPEN YOUR MIND MY FRIEND AND REALLY STUDY THIS. Now let's look at the imports of Saudi Arabia.

Products imported by Saudi Arabia - Total Country Trade: $118B

$118 BILLION (with a B) vs. $37.1 MILLION (with an M) Saudi Arabia ranks #77 in the world in imports. The Vatican is ranked 4th from the bottom of all countries in the world in trade. There is no contest between the two.

Top 5 Products imported by Saudi Arabia Cars (11%), Refined Petroleum (5.4%), Packaged Medicaments (2.3%), Barley (1.8%), and Delivery Trucks (1.6%)

Number 1 item is a luxury item. John gives us a list of things the Harlot imports.

[SUP]12 [/SUP]merchandise of gold and silver, precious stones and pearls, fine linen and purple, silk and scarlet, every kind of citron wood, every kind of object of ivory, every kind of object of most precious wood, bronze, iron, and marble; [SUP]13 [/SUP]and cinnamon and incense, fragrant oil and frankincense, wine and oil, fine flour and wheat, cattle and sheep, horses and chariots, and bodies and souls of men.

I was at Vatican City in 2011 and I did not see any cattle, sheep, horses or chariots there. But the biggest clue is the identity of the merchants selling to the Harlot. We are told in Ezek 27 who these merchants are and where they are from.

[SUP]12 [/SUP]“Tarshish was your merchant because of your many luxury goods. They gave you silver, iron, tin, and lead for your goods. [SUP]13 [/SUP]Javan, Tubal, and Meshech were your traders. They bartered human lives and vessels of bronze for your merchandise. [SUP]14 [/SUP]Those from the house of Togarmah traded for your wares with horses, steeds, and mules. [SUP]15 [/SUP]The men of Dedan were your traders; many isles were the market of your hand. They brought you ivory tusks and ebony as payment. [SUP]16 [/SUP]Syria was your merchant because of the abundance of goods you made. They gave you for your wares emeralds, purple, embroidery, fine linen, corals, and rubies. [SUP]17 [/SUP]Judah and the land of Israel were your traders. They traded for your merchandise wheat of Minnith, millet, honey, oil, and balm. [SUP]18 [/SUP]Damascus was your merchant because of the abundance of goods you made, because of your many luxury items, with the wine of Helbon and with white wool. [SUP]19 [/SUP]Dan and Javan paid for your wares, traversing back and forth. Wrought iron, cassia, and cane were among your merchandise. [SUP]20 [/SUP]Dedan was your merchant in saddlecloths for riding. [SUP]21 [/SUP]Arabia and all the princes of Kedar were your regular merchants. They traded with you in lambs, rams, and goats. [SUP]22 [/SUP]The merchants of Sheba and Raamah were your merchants. They traded for your wares the choicest spices, all kinds of precious stones, and gold. [SUP]23 [/SUP]Haran, Canneh, Eden, the merchants of Sheba, Assyria, and Chilmad were your merchants. [SUP]24 [/SUP]These were your merchants in choice items—in purple clothes, in embroidered garments, in chests of multicolored apparel, in sturdy woven cords, which were in your marketplace.

The above list trade with Saudi Arabia, not Vatican City. SLAM DUNK. I rest my case.

Yes it does look that way which is funny.
But Acts 19 speaks of this worshiping of this stone that fell from the sky.....

You are stating all the things the Catholics do though, and I know for I was in the church for 5 years before I left.
This however is not the descriptions of Mystery Babylon throughout the bible from the OT to the NT expect for the gueen of heaven which I already told you that is Diana to them.

Read Acts 19 as it gives another description of the system in question......

Babylon did not come from Christianity or Jewish customs, for it has always been a false worship system.
Catholicism is the apostate Christianity of the end times, but not Babylon. If anything Catholicism is the false prophet of the final system, but not the main force of it.
Remember the bible shows the final system as a mixture of Iron mixed with Clay, meaning it is not all just one system of the past. It is the combination of a pre-existing system mixed with another system. Muslims and apostate Christianity................
1. Catholicism did not grow out of judaism or christianity thus your reasoning is flawed (it grew out of roman paganism)
2. Catholisism would never accept the beast, it would appose him, thus it can not be the fase prophet (which is why it must be destroyed BEFORE the beast shows his hand)

again, if you would just study, and think for even a minute you would quickly see how faulty your view is.

lol. the beast is empowered by satan,
the religious leader is not in power. he gives power to the beast.

the iron is rome
the clay is that fractured empire. which is run by the beast, and gives them their power. but it will not be like rome, which had one power. ceasar. yet it will cain more power. have more infuence. conquer more land, and do all daniel said it would do.

You could probably sell that better with the verse that speaks of making SILVER shrine(s) for Diana

Although its not a graven image but a black corner stone in a silver bed pan (type object)

Unless that is what a silver shrine is?

What do I know?

your arrogance alone tells me you do not speak for God.

You do not use an OT passage which speaks were ISREAL got its goods. to prove wher ethe WORLD get its good.

not to mention. that was not talking about babylon, it was talking about where people got stuff.

Saudia arabia has oil. Once that oil is gone, it has no power. it is a dessert.

How are the merchants of the earth made rich by Saudi Arabia

welp you just showed how a nation gets rich, Which I am sure you can not even prove.

that is not merchants

Merchants are people who seel their good.

Carpenters, electricians, Artists, et etc.

Your thinking iside the box. from preconcieved ideas.

the whole has to line up with prophesy, not part.

China is getting rich of the united states right now. Does that mean they are the harlot?

Undrilled for stuff?
You make an important statement,

Take the oil away, Saudia arabia is dead. While roman catholcism will still be making true merchants rich.

Catholicism did to come from out of Christianity, but was twisted and corrupted by the Romans.
I do not know where you get your false information that the Romans started it, because it existed in the 2nd century (101-200 A.D.). If you are going by the flawed Constantine debate then I understand because a number of people have been falsely taught that Constantine started the Catholic church. Constantine converted and joined the church in the 4th century, he did not start it.

It is speaking of IMPORTS so no way Saudi could be making the merchants rich......and disproves his statements about Saudi making the merchants rich as they do not import enough to fill the bill....so not sure why the remarks in line one....pay attention to the question and take a chill pill bro... ;)

That is true but the oil economy is not based on what we have, but on what Saudi Arabia charges.
If Saudi Arabia goes up from $25 a barrel to $35 a barrel then our gas prices here goes up, if they go down in price by barrel our gas prices go down. Hince the recent lowering of gas prices lately.
Almost every nations in the world economy rides on the oil, if the oil capital of the world gets destroyed it would do more damage in the world then the Vatican getting destroyed.

We have the history of six of the seven resurrections of the "Holy Roman Empire" in which the Catholic church has played a great part in, the Pope has crowned or blessed the leader of a European power...

Rev 17:9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
Rev 17:10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
Rev 17:11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
Rev 17:12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

1) 554AD Justinian's imperial restoration of the Holy Roman Empire - recognizes the supremacy of the Pope

2) 800AD Charlemagne crowned by the Pope on xmas day

3) 962AD Otto the Great crowned by the Pope

4) 1520AD Charles V crowned by the Pope

5) 1805AD Napoleon crowned by the Pope

6) early 1930'sAD Mussolini gave the land for the Vatican to the RCC and the Pope blessed him in return. Continued support for the Hitler/Mussolini axis

7) Rev 17:10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
