He posts all this stuff promoting circumcision (flesh) as a necessity, then when you ask him, he says 'Tada, the circumcision party' as if he just exposed them for being wrong. (They are, but that's not what he's been saying all this time)

What am I not getting, here? This guy IS the circumcision party.

And he quotes the following verse???

But it was because of the false brethren secretly brought in, who had sneaked in to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, in order to bring us into bondage.

HE's been behaving as the false brethren brought in to spy out OUR liberty, which, we've been telling him, we have in Christ Jesus, and he has been trying to bring us into the bondage of circumcision.

Once again, I have to say, this house is shawr gone crazy!

That conclusion that I am not a follower of Christ but a pharisee of the circumcision party is ridiculous. Lol, what I am saying is those false brethren were those of the circumcision party who tried to hinder the truth of the gospel.

Paul was not against circumcision (not the sect). Neither was he against the law of God. Remember Jesus warning about thinking so (Matthew 5:17-19)

Acts 21:18

And the day following Paul went in with us unto James; and all the elders were present.19And when he had saluted them, he declared particularly what things God had wrought among the Gentiles by his ministry. 20And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord, and said unto him,

Thou seest, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous of the law: 21And they are informed of thee, that thou teachest all the Jews which are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, saying that they ought not to circumcise their children, neither to walk after the customs. 22What is it therefore? the multitude must needs come together: for they will hear that thou art come. 23Do therefore this that we say to thee: We have four men which have a vow on them;

24Them take, and purify thyself with them, and be at charges with them, that they may shave their heads: and all may know that those things, whereof they were informed concerning thee, are nothing; but that thou thyself also walkest orderly, and keepest the law.

Wake up. The circumcision party were those jews without Christ.

Ummmmm yeah. They were called the circumcision party because they were insisting that Christians needed to be circumcised. Which they wanted because circumcision was the sign of identification with the Law.

Any of that sound familiar to you?

Lol. So you're not a pharisee of the circumcision party, you just believe the same things they did with regards circumcision? It'd be helpful if you preceded your switches in doctrine with a "tada!", so we know which doctrine you are preaching at that moment.

I believe Christ, Paul, Peter, John, James ,Jude etc. They all agree, the law is not done away with. They all kept it and taught it just as was commanded. It does not do away with Christ, it lifts Him up.

Paul was not against circumcision as a *custom*, or any of the other *customs* of the Jews. He was certainly against circumcision and such customs, if used (by Jews or Gentiles) to try to fulfill the law, which is only fulfilled in Christ.

You still think Paul is talking about teaching not to circumcise (physically) in he's letters. The truth is he is talking about the circumcision party of the pharisees which did not believe on Christ and were still trying to be justified without him according to the old way of sacrifice.

He was teaching against those who were encouraging Believers to go back to the Law and accept the sign in their flesh of identification with the Law. It's not about that circumcision, but what that circumcision represented.
