Again........that equating Jesus to having given us a permanent SAbbath is anti-Chrsit.......do not spread that muck around.
Be more careful with your words:

"There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God, for anyone who enters God's rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his."
Heb 4:9

REad it all......it also states we must work to be found worthy of it...... Stop using the Word like it is your creation, and learn It.

If anyone can show me a verse in the New Testament that tells me to observe the Sabbath, I will do so.

Meanwhile I will observe the day of His resurrection,,

Here you have the context:

---

1Therefore, since the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be found to have fallen short of it. 2For we also have had the good news proclaimed to us, just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, because they did not share the faith of those who obeyed.a 3Now we who have believed enter that rest, just as God has said,

“So I declared on oath in my anger,

‘They shall never enter my rest.’ ”b

And yet his works have been finished since the creation of the world. 4For somewhere he has spoken about the seventh day in these words: “On the seventh day God rested from all his works.”c 5And again in the passage above he says, “They shall never enter my rest.”

6Therefore since it still remains for some to enter that rest, and since those who formerly had the good news proclaimed to them did not go in because of their disobedience, 7God again set a certain day, calling it “Today.” This he did when a long time later he spoke through David, as in the passage already quoted:

“Today, if you hear his voice,

do not harden your hearts.”d

8For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken later about another day. 9There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; 10for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works,e just as God did from his. 11Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience.
...
Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven,f Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess.

---

I hope its clear that the "effort to enter that rest" is not obeying the Law, but faith and obedience to the calling.

If you are a Christian, with faith and positive response to the gospel callling, you have entered the rest, the eternal Sabbath. And you do not good works to enter, but because you entered.

The core foundation upon which the New Covenant stands is as follows:

“This is the covenant I will make with them
after that time, says the Lord.
I will put my laws in their hearts,
and I will write them on their minds.”[SUP][b][/SUP][SUP]17 [/SUP]Then he adds:
“Their sins and lawless acts
I will remember no more

Heb 10:16&17

What is in your mind you in your mind must know, therefore, you must instinctively know the law God desires you to follow.
The law placed in your mind and written on your heart brings inner conviction from God as to what that law is. I can testify, when I got saved I did not have to read the law in the OT to be aware of my sin/the law God desired me to follow. I had inner conviction of it.
Question. Those who insist you must observe a set Saturday Sabbath. Did you gain that conviction through inner conviction/did you instinctively know that in your mind?(For that is where the law has been placed, in your most inward parts) Or, did you gain that conviction from reading what is written in ink?
I think God's requirements start out 'in writing...as scriptures confirm...'it is written' and then also by God 'speaking them' Ex 20; Deut 5v22; rather than just leaving it to every man's own imagination....hence people coming up with all kinds of ideas and beliefs not a match on scripture.

Will Christ's teaching suit you?

Mat 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Rev 14:12 Here is a call for the endurance of the saints, who keep the commandments of God and hold fast to their faithfulness in Jesus:

As long as we exist in this age of darkness, away from our Home, we will have works to do.

Yes, we must labor to enter into His rest....... Do not pervert this teaching, it is so.

Jesus Christ summarises what He considered important about the Law in Matthew 19.16-19. The Sabbath is patently absent.

The context is "untill everything will be accomplished".

“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.
For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.
Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven."

I believe it is the new commandments of Jesus he is referring to not the old covenant laws...Would you send your son to be tortured and killed ,just so every one could live in fear of the same old laws again ? Those laws were fulfilled when he paid the price. You know the new covenant commandments of Jesus correct ? They are much different that what Moses received . Love thy God w/ all thy heart , etc...

Are you afraid to quote me or why do you respond to my posts without any identification? :)

Read Hebrews 3 and 4, to know what the labor is.

Well, if you post your ideas on a public forum, its late to "not to be involved".

You said something very close to blasphemy and its not good enough to just "not want to be involved" after that.

Everyone has their own interpretation of scripture. Unless they claim to have God's 100 % correct interpretation . Which I would say is very unlikely

But which commandments? Not the ten to Israel. Rather His eternal commandments.

The Sabbath law was a command to Israel, not eternal.

That is your choice. There is no sabbath commandment in the NT because Yahshua/Jesus introduced a new and living way for us to follow 'IN LOVE...no longer by command ! so it is now a choice...but don't be deceived (mat 24) into thinking it will lead you to the same destination as GOD's direction...it won't, and you will hear the words 'depart from me you who practice iniquity.'
No one who is disobedient (whether by order or by choice)will get into the Kgd of God,,see it in writing Mat 7v21.
There is no command or instruction or choice offered to celebrate resurrection...it just shows your own opinion.

God does not write anything on a person's heart that is not also written in HIS Book.
ps. I have an issue with being 'born again' we could discuss if you are interested.
