You are correct the Mosaic is not... but the Lord’s Sabbath is.. that is why He taught us what is lawful..

Good then you agree that the ultimate Sabbath rest is now in Christ and not 'a particular day'. Like the Mosaic law demanded :D

The fourth commandment is part of the Mosaic Law

Hi Hizikyah,

I hope you realise that this verse in Acts does not mean Christians are under the law to hold Sabbath. It just shows that Paul went to the synagogues first, to proclaim the New Covenant, the Gospel.

It has no reference to Christians having to keep the Mosaic Sabbath. You do know that right?

Acts 15:20 But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.21 For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.

It seems obvious that the gentiles already knew about God's Sanctified Set Apart, Holy into us and Holy unto Him Sabbath.

So it makes sense that Peter wouldn't direct them again to do things they already knew about. This explains why he didn't tell them to Love the Lord your God, the first and greatest commandment, to Love your neighbor as yourself, the second greatest commandment. To not kill or steal, they already knew these things from earlier teachings.

But they were still following traditions of man that had to be addressed. Apparently they were creating images of God after the likeness of man or something, so Peter commanded they stop this as Moses commanded.

They were still disobedient where sexual issues were concerned so Peter commanded them to change and obey the Law of Moses where fornication is concerned.

They were still observing man's tradition of eating certain foods, or food killed a certain way so Peter commanded them to follow the Laws of Moses where eating meats strangled is concerned.

And apparently they were still partaking in the heathen practice of eating or drinking blood, so Peter commanded them to refrain from this practice and follow the Laws of Moses where eating blood was concerned.

Then he sent them to the scribes to learn from Moses just like Jesus commanded His people to do in:

Matt. 23: 1 Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,

2 Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:

3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.

I could never understand how mainstream preachers of our time can use Peter in Acts 15 to promote the doctrines and traditions of man.

1. In Acts 15 there is a basic set of requirements given, it is not be all end all as many things forbidden in the NT and OT are not listed here, and it is said that they can go to the gatherings on Sabbath to learn more;

Acts 15:19-21,29 “19 Therefore I judge that we should not trouble those from among the nations who are turning to YHWH, 20, but that we write to them to abstain from the defilements of idols, and from whoring, and from what is strangled, and from blood. 21, For from ancient generations Mosheh has, in every city, those proclaiming him – being read in the congregations every Sabbath. 29, that you abstain from what is offered to idols, and blood, and what is strangled, and whoring. If you keep yourselves from these, you shall do well. Be strong!”

2.
Here we have and end time prophecy, where the King seems to think the Sabbath is still valid in the end times. Maybe those who disagree need to tell the King He is wrong?

Mat 24:20, “But pray that your flight will not be in the winter, nor on the Sabbath Day.”

Luke 16:17, "But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one yodh of the Law to fail."

3. And finally this one is undisputibale or you must not believe Yahshua/Jesus or you believe heaven and earth already passed;

Mat 5:18, "I say to you; Unless heaven and earth passes away, one yodh; the smallest of the letters will in no way pass from the Law, until all things are perfected."

Revelation 21:1, "I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away."

If you beleive the Law is one away in any manner I suggest you go to your nearest window and look outside to see if the earth is still there.... If it is the Law has not passed in any way.

Show me where it is written that can supersede the Lord of Sabbath teaching us to Keep even the Least Commandment.. and we can learn of this ultimate Sabbath you speak of?

My conscience is that the Sabbath is sun down fri to sun down sat.. and I remember to keep it seperate.. 6 days I can work and care to my duties.. and have a Rest set aside for me by GOD.. 7 days I can worship GOD in Spirit and Truth.. yes I’m content while I abide to Love GOD by Believing Him through His Son’s Testament.. now this is how I use my Liberty in Christ while under Grace.. I’m not condemned when I put a light thanks to Christ’s Victory!

The fourth commandment is part of the Mosaic Law

And Moses summoned all Israel and said to them, “Hear, O Israel, the statutes and the rules that I speak in your hearing today, and you shall learn them and be careful to do them.2 The Lord our God made a covenant with us in Horeb

“‘Observe the Sabbath day, to keep it holy, as the Lord your God commanded you.13 For six days you shall labour and do all your work,14 but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, you or your son or your daughter or your male servant or your female servant, or your ox or your donkey or any of your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates, that your male servant and your female servant may rest as well as you.15 You shall remember that you were a slave[c] in the land of Egypt, and the Lordyour God brought you out from there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. Therefore the Lord your God commanded you to keep the Sabbath day.
God's Holy Sabbath was created and sanctified at creation. How can you call it part of the "mosaic Law"?

Beautiful Hiz,

Isn't it fascinating that were are engaged in the same battle between God's Righteousness and Man's righteousness which has been going on since ancient times? Truly "there is no new thing under the sun".

Perfect post Hiz,

Hi Studyman,

Your are conflating to things.. We as Christians now enjoy our Sabbath rest, just not in following the Mosaic Law Sabbath. Jesus Christ is our rest. Not a particular day. Already but not yet!

Hi Studyman,

Your are conflating to things.. We as Christians now enjoy our Sabbath rest, just not in following the Mosaic Law Sabbath. Jesus Christ is our rest. Not a particular day. Already but not yet!
Seems you are ahead of the saints?

2 Thessalonians 1:5-10, “Clear evidence of the righteous judgment of יהוה, in order for you to be counted worthy of the reign of יהוה, for which you also suffer, since יהוה shall rightly repay with affliction those who afflict you, and to give you who are afflicted rest with us when the Master יהושע is revealed from heaven with His mighty messengers, in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know יהוה, and on those who do not obey the Good News of our Master יהושע Messiah, who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Master and from the esteem of His strength, when He comes to be esteemed in His set-apart ones and to be admired among all those who believe in that Day, because our witness to you was believed.”

Revelation 14:13, "And I heard a voice from heaven saying to me: Write: Blessed are the dead, the ones dying in the Messiah from now on! Yes, says the Spirit: because they will rest from their labors, and their works do follow them!"

It is like the garden all over, will man choose what the Creator said or not?

Isaiah 65:1, “I have let Myself be inquired of, not by those who asked; I was found, not by those who sought Me. I said, ‘Here I am, here I am,’ to a nation not calling on My Name. 2, “I have held out My hands all day long to a stubborn people, who walk in a way that is not good, after their own thoughts; 3, the people who provoke Me continually to My face, who slaughter in gardens, and burn incense on slaughter-places of brick; 4, who sit among the burial-sites, and spend the night in secret places, who eat flesh of pigs,a and the broth of unclean meat is in their pots, 5, who say, ‘Keep to yourself, do not come near me, for I am set-apart to you!’ These are smoke in My nostrils, a fire that burns all day."Isaiah 65:6, “See, it is written before Me: I am not silent, but shall repay, and I shall repay into their bosom,"Isaiah 65:7, your crookednesses and the crookednesses of your fathers together,” said יהוה, “who burned incense on the mountains and reproached Me on the hills. And I shall measure their former work into their bosom.”"Isaiah 65:8, Thus said יהוה, “As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one shall say, ‘Do not destroy it, for there is blessing in it,’ so I do for My servants’ sake, not to destroy them all."Isaiah 65:9, “And I shall bring forth a seed from Ya‛aqoḇ, and from Yehuḏah an heir of My mountains. And My chosen ones shall inherit it, and My servants dwell there."Isaiah 65:10, “And Sharon shall be a fold of flocks, and the Valley of Aḵor a place for herds to lie down, for My people who have sought Me."Isaiah 65:11, “But you are those who forsake יהוה, who forget My set-apart mountain, who prepare a table for Gad, and who fill a drink offering for Meni."Isaiah 65:12, “And I shall allot you to the sword, and let you all bow down to the slaughter, because I called and you did not answer, I spoke and you did not hear, and you did evil before My eyes and chose that in which I did not delight.”"Isaiah 65:13, Therefore thus said the Master יהוה, “See, My servants eat, but you hunger; see, My servants drink, but you thirst; see, My servants rejoice, but you are put to shame;"Isaiah 65:14, see, My servants sing for joy of heart, but you cry for sorrow of heart, and wail for breaking of spirit."Isaiah 65:15, “And you shall leave your name as a curse to My chosen, for the Master יהוה shall put you to death, and call His servants by another name,"Isaiah 65:16, so that he who blesses himself in the earth does bless himself in the Elohim of truth. And he who swears in the earth does swear by the Elohim of truth. Because the former distresses shall be forgotten, and because they shall be hidden from My eyes."Isaiah 65:17, “For look, I am creating new heavens and a new earth, and the former shall not be remembered, nor come to heart."Isaiah 65:18, “But be glad and rejoice forever in what I create; for look, I create Yerushalayim a rejoicing, and her people a joy."Isaiah 65:19, “And I shall rejoice in Yerushalayim, and shall joy in My people, and let the voice of weeping no more be heard in her, nor the voice of crying."Isaiah 65:20, “No more is an infant from there going to live but a few days, nor an old man who does not complete his days, for the youth dies one hundred years old, but the sinner being one hundred years old shall be lightly esteemed."Isaiah 65:21, “And they shall build houses and inhabit them, and plant vineyards and eat their fruit."Isaiah 65:22, “They shall not build and another inhabit; they shall not plant and another eat. For the days of My people are going to be as the days of a tree, and My chosen ones outlive the work of their hands."Isaiah 65:23, “They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth children for trouble. For they are the seed of the blessed of יהוה, and their offspring with them."Isaiah 65:24, “And it shall be that before they call, I answer. And while they are still speaking, I hear."Isaiah 65:25, “Wolf and lamb feed together, a lion eats straw as an ox, and dust is the snake’s food. They shall do no evil, nor destroy in all My set-apart mountain,” said יהוה."

Isaiah 66:1, Thus said יהוה, “The heavens are My throne, and the earth is My footstool. Where is this house that you build for Me? And where is this place of My rest?"Isaiah 66:2, “And all these My hand has made, and all these that exist,” declares יהוה. “Yet to such a one I look: on him who is poor and bruised of spirit, and who trembles at My Word."Isaiah 66:3, “But whoever slays the bull strikes a man; whoever slaughters the lamb breaks a dog’s neck; whoever brings a grain offering – pig’s blood; whoever burns incense blesses an idol. Indeed, they have chosen their own ways, and their being delights in their abominations."Isaiah 66:4, “I shall also choose their punishments, and bring their fears on them. Because I called, but no one answered. I spoke and they did not hear, and they did evil before My eyes, and chose what was displeasing to Me.”"Isaiah 66:5, Hear the Word of יהוה, you who tremble at His Word, “Your brothers who hate you, who cast you out for My Name’s sake, said, ‘Let יהוה be esteemed, so that we see your joy.’ But they are put to shame.”"Isaiah 66:6, “A roaring sound from the city, a voice from the Hĕḵal, the voice of יהוה, repaying His enemies!"Isaiah 66:7, “Before she laboured, she gave birth; before a pain came to her, she was delivered of a male child."Isaiah 66:8, “Who has heard the like of this? Who has seen the like of these? Is a land brought forth in one day? Is a nation born at once? For as soon as Tsiyon laboured, she gave birth to her children."Isaiah 66:9, “Shall I bring to birth, and not give delivery?” says יהוה. “Shall I who give delivery restrain birth?” said your Elohim."Isaiah 66:10, “Rejoice with Yerushalayim, and be glad with her, all you who love her; rejoice greatly with her, all you who mourn for her;"Isaiah 66:11, so that you feed, and shall be satisfied with the breast of her comforts, so that you drink deeply, and shall delight yourselves in her overflowing esteem.”"Isaiah 66:12, For thus said יהוה, “See, I am extending peace to her like a river, and the esteem of the nations like a flowing stream. And you shall feed; you shall be carried on the side, and be fondled on her knees."Isaiah 66:13, “As one whom his mother comforts, so I comfort you. And in Yerushalayim you are comforted.”"Isaiah 66:14, “And you shall see, and your heart shall rejoice, and your bones flourish as tender grass. And the hand of יהוה shall be known to His servants, and His displeasure to His enemies."Isaiah 66:15, “For look, יהוה comes with fire and with His chariots, like a whirlwind, to render His displeasure with burning, and His rebuke with flames of fire."Isaiah 66:16, “For by fire and by His sword יהוה shall judge all flesh, and the slain of יהוה shall be many –"Isaiah 66:17, those who sanctify themselves and cleanse themselves at the gardens after ‘one’ in the midst, eating flesh of pigs and the abomination and the mouse, are snatched away, together,” declares יהוה. (Isa 65:4, "who sit among the burial-sites, and spend the night in secret places, who eat flesh of pigs,a and the broth of unclean meat is in their pots.) "Isaiah 66:18, “And I, because of their works and their imaginations, am coming to gather all nations and tongues. And they shall come and see My esteem."Isaiah 66:19, “And I shall set a sign among them, and shall send some of those who escape to the nations – Tarshish and Pul and Luḏ, who draw the bow, and Tuḇal and Yawan, the coastlands afar off who have not heard My report nor seen My esteem. And they shall declare My esteem among the nations."Isaiah 66:20, “And they shall bring all your brothers as an offering to יהוה out of all the nations, on horses and in chariots and in litters, on mules and on camels, to My set-apart mountain Yerushalayim,” declares יהוה, “as the children of Yisra’ĕl bring an offering in a clean vessel into the House of יהוה."Isaiah 66:21, “And from them too I shall take for priests – for Lĕwites,” declares יהוה."Isaiah 66:22, “For as the new heavens and the new earth that I make stand before Me,” declares יהוה, “so your seed and your name shall stand."Isaiah 66:23, “And it shall be that from New moon to New moon, and from Sabbath to Sabbath,b all flesh shall come to worship before Me,” declares יהוה. Isaiah 66:24, “And they shall go forth and look upon the corpses of the men who have transgressed against Me.c For their worm shall not die, and their fire not be quenched. And they shall be repulsive to all flesh!”

Ezekiel 20:12, "Moreover, I also gave them My Sabbaths, to be a *sign between Me and them, that they might know that I am YHWH Who sanctifies them."

*Sign is Word #H226, Hebrew Dictionary, Strong's Exhaustive Concordance, meaning mark, token, sign, consent, flag, evidence of consent.

He said it not me! I seek His ways as He says, I want Him to sanctify me. While I am not perfect and do sin I want His ways how He says.

John 2:5, “His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever He says to you.”

2 Kings 17:19, “Yehuḏah, also, did not guard the commands of יהוה their Strength, but walked in the laws of Yisra’yl which they made.”

Mark 7:1-9, “And the Pharisees and some of the scribes assembled to Him, having come from Yerushalayim. And seeing some of His taught ones eat bread with defiled, that is, with unwashed hands, they found fault. For the Pharisees, and all the Yehuḏim, do not eat unless they wash their hands thoroughly, holding fast the tradition of the elders, and coming from the market-place, they do not eat unless they wash. And there are many other traditions which they have received and hold fast – the washing of cups and utensils and copper vessels and couches. Then the Pharisees and scribes asked Him, “Why do Your taught ones not walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashed hands? And He answering, said to them, “Well did Yeshayahu prophesy concerning you hypocrites, as it has been written, ‘This people respect Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. And in vain do they worship Me, teaching as doctrinethe commands of men.’ Forsaking the command of YHWH, you hold fast the tradition of men. And He said to them, “Well do you set aside the command of YHWH, in order to guard your tradition."
We have what they never had if we use it.

1 Cor. 10:1 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;
2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;

3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat;

4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

5 But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.

6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.

7 Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play. (Ex. 32, they created their own "Feasts unto the Lord")

8 Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.

9 Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.

10 Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.

11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

We need only to follow the instructions and examples God in His eternal Mercy has given us. If we continue therein, there is hope for us.

Numbers 15:15-16, “One law is for you of the assembly and for the stranger who sojourns with you – a law forever throughout your generations. As you are, so is the stranger before יהוה. One Torah and one right-ruling is for you and for the stranger who sojourns with you.”

Isayah 58:11-14, "YHWH will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and make fat; (strengthen), your bones. You will be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail. And those of you will rebuild the old waste places; you will raise up the foundations of many generations; and you will be called the Repairer of the Breach, the Restorer of Streets to Dwell In; If you turn away your foot from breaking the Sabbath: from doing your pleasure; your own business, your own pleasure, on My holy day, and call the Sabbath a delight; the holy day of YHWH honorable, and will honor Him by not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor engaging in idle conversation: Then you will find your joy in YHWH; and I will cause you to ride on the high places of the earth, and feed you with the heritage of Yaaqob your father, for the mouth of YHWH has spoken it."

Isaiah 56:1-7, “Thus said יהוה, “Guard right-ruling, and do righteousness, for near is My deliverance to come, and My righteousness to be revealed. Blessed is the man who does this, and the son of man who becomes strong in it, guarding the Sabbath lest he profane it, and guarding his hand from doing any evil. And let not the son of the gentile who has joined himself to יהוה speak, saying, ‘יהוה has certainly separated me from His people,’ nor let the eunuch say, ‘Look I am a dry tree.’ For thus said יהוה, “To the eunuchs who guard My Sabbaths, and have chosen what pleases Me, and are holding onto My covenant: to them I shall give in My house and within My walls a place and a name better than that of sons and daughters – I give them an everlasting name that is not cut off. Also the sons of the gentile who join themselves to יהוה, to serve Him, and to love the Name of יהוה, to be His servants, all who guard the Sabbath, and not profane it, and are holding onto My covenant, them I shall bring to My set-apart mountain, and let them rejoice in My house of prayer. Their ascending offerings and their sacrifices are accepted on My altar, for My house is called a house of prayer for all the peoples.”

Romans 9:6-8, "However, it is not as though YHWH's plan had failed. For it is not everyone who is a descendant of Yisra’yl who belongs to Yisra’yl. Nor, just because they are his descendants, are they all Abraham's children; but: In Isaac will your seed be called. That is, it is not those who are the children of the flesh who are YHWH's children; but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as Abraham's seed."

Psalm 105:6-9, "O seed of Abraham His servant, You children of Yaaqob, His chosen ones! He is YHWH our Father! His judgments are in all the earth. He has remembered His covenant forever, the Law He commanded for a thousand generations; Which He made; ratified, established, with Abraham, and vowed by His oath to Isaac. He confirmed it; let it stand, to Yaaqob for a Law, and to Israyl for an everlasting covenant."

Galatians 3:27-29, “For as many of you as were immersed into Messiah have put on Messiah. There is not Yehuḏi nor Greek, there is not slave nor free, there is not male and female, for you are all one in Messiah יהושע. And if you are of Messiah, then you are seed of Aḇraham, and heirs according to promise.”

Psalm 89:26-37, "He will call out to Me; ‘You are my Father, O YHWH! You are the Rock of my salvation!’ And I will make Him My firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth. My mercy I will keep for Him forever and My covenant will stand fast withHim. And I will establish His Seed forever, and His throne will be as the days of heaven. Should His children forsake My Law, and refuse to walk in My judgments; Should they profane My statutes, and fail to keep My commandments; Then I will punish their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with lashes from the whip. Hi Hizikyah

And Moses summoned all Israel and said to them, “Hear, O Israel, the statutes and the rules that I speak in your hearing today, and you shall learn them and be careful to do them.2 The Lord our God made a covenant with us in Horeb.3 Not with our fathers did the Lord make this covenant, but with us, who are all of us here alive today.4 The Lord spoke with you face to face at the mountain, out of the midst of the fire,5 while I stood between the Lord and you at that time, to declare to you the word of the Lord. For you were afraid because of the fire, and you did not go up into the mountain.

“‘Observe the Sabbath day, to keep it holy, as the Lord your God commanded you. 13 For six days you shall labour and do all your work,14 but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, you or your son or your daughter or your male servant or your female servant, or your ox or your donkey or any of your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates, that your male servant and your female servant may rest as well as you. 15
You shall remember that you were a slave[c] in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your God brought you out from there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. Therefore the Lord your God commanded you to keep the Sabbath day

Heb 10:1 For since the law has but a shadow of the good things to come instead of the true form of these realities, it can never, by the same sacrifices that are continually offered every year, make perfect those who draw near.

Heb 10:9 -
then he added, “Behold, I have come to do your will.” He does away with the first in order to establish the second.10 And by that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Heb 10:12 -
But when Christ[b]had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God

Heb 4 ff

Therefore, while the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us fear lest any of you should seem to have failed to reach it. 2 For good news came to us just as to them, but the message they heard did not benefit them, because they were not united by faith with those who listened.[a] 3 For we who have believed enter that rest, as he has said,
“As I swore in my wrath,
‘They shall not enter my rest’”,

although his works were finished from the foundation of the world. 4 For he has somewhere spoken of the seventh day in this way: “And God rested on the seventh day from all his works.” 5 And again in this passage he said,
“They shall not enter my rest.”

6 Since therefore it remains for some to enter it, and those who formerly received the good news failed to enter because of disobedience, 7 again he appoints a certain day, “Today”, saying through David so long afterwards, in the words already quoted,
“Today, if you hear his voice,
do not harden your hearts.”

8 For if Joshua had given them rest, God[b] would not have spoken of another day later on. 9 So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God, 10 for whoever has entered God's rest has also rested from his works as God did from his.
11 Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience. 12 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. 13 And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

That is what a church that openly transgresses the commandments of God by their own doctrines and traditions preach to be sure. I just don't find the scriptural evidence that this preaching is true. Especially given how Jesus and His disciples walked. I do find scriptural evidence warning about satan disguising itself as "Christians" and deceiving "many". I fear your understanding may be the result of this warnings so I humbly advise you to "take heed" regarding those who would say it's OK to call Jesus Lord, Lord, but "work iniquity". This would include rejecting God's Sabbath according to the Bible.

As you quoted all must give account.

Romans 2:12, “For as many as have sinned without the Law, will also perish without the Law, and as many as have sinned in the Law, will be judged by the Law.”

2 Corinthians 5:10, “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Messiah, that each one may receive his reward according to what he has done in the body, whether righteous or evil.”

judgment seat” is word #G968 - béma: a step, raised place, by impl. A tribunal, Original Word: βῆμα, ατος, τό, Part of Speech: Noun, Neuter, Transliteration: béma, Phonetic Spelling: (bay'-ma), Short Definition: the space covered by a step of the foot, a tribunal, Definition: an elevated place ascended by steps, a throne, tribunal.

Yes the coming rest... when Yahshua returns;

Mat 11:27-30, "All things have been delivered to Me by My Father. And no one fully knows the Son except the Father, neither does anyone fully know the Father, except the Son and those whom YHWH wills the Son to reveal. Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light"

Mark 1:15, “and saying, “The time has been filled, and the reign of Yah has come near. Repent, and believe in the Good News.”

and He gave us a new heart to obey His Laws;
Hebrews 10:16, "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says YHWH: I will put My Law into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them.”

We would no longer be in bondage to sin.

Romans 7:25, “Thanks be to YHWH, I have deliverance through Yahshua Messiah our King! So then, with this same mind, I myself serve the Law of YHWH, while in the flesh that is yet subject to the law of sin.”

1 Corinthians 10:11-12, “And all these came upon them as examples, and they were written as a warning to us, on whom the ends of the ages have come, so that he who thinks he stands, let him take heed lest he fall.”

We can learn from this example;

Hebrews 3:16-19, "For some, when they had heard, rebelled. But not all rebelled who came out of Egypt through Mosheh. But with whom was He angry forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose corpses fell in the wilderness? And to whom did He vow that they would not enter into His rest, but to those who did not obey? So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief."

Hebrews 4:2, "For this message was preached to us, as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not benefit them, because they did not share in the faith of those who obeyed. "

Here we have and end time prophecy, where the King seems to think the Sabbath is still valid in the end times. Maybe those who disagree need to tell the King He is wrong in His end time prophecy?

Mat 24:20, “But pray that your flight will not be in the winter, nor on the Sabbath Day.”

Why are there not more mentions of the Sabbath in the New Testament? The New Testament consists of the 4 Messages of the Good News of Messiah, Acts, 22 Letters and the Revelation of Yahshua Messiah. Sections can be isolated to make a false witness that certain Laws/Instructions no longer apply, but are done so in error.

Mat 4:4, “But He answering, said, “It has been written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of יהוה.” (Deut 8:3)

Daniyl 7:25, "And he will speak great words against YHWH, and will wear out; mentally attack to cause to fall away, the saints of YHWH, and think to change times and Laws

Luke 16:16-17, “The Torah and the prophets are until Yoḥanan. Since then the reign of YHWH is being announced, and everyone is doing violence upon it. (Zep 3:4) And it is easier for the heaven and the earth to pass away than for one tittle of the Torah to fail.”

Hebrews 4:1-11, "Therefore, since a promise of entering His rest remains, let us fear so that none of you should come short of it. For this message was preached to us, as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not benefit them, because they did not share in the faith of those who obeyed-- However, we who have believed do enter that rest, as He has said: So I vowed in My wrath, They will not enter into My rest, although the works were finished from the foundation of the world, For He spoke in a certain place of the Seventh Day, in this way: And YHWH rested the Seventh Day from all His works. And in this place again: If they will enter into My rest. Since therefore it remains that some must enter it, and those to whom it was first preached did not enter because of disobedience, Again, He designates a certain day, saying in David: ''Today,'' after so long a time, as it has been said: Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts. If Yahshua (ben Nun) had given them rest he would not have spoken afterward of another day. Therefore, there remains the keeping of the Sabbath (word G#4520) to the people of YHWH, For he who has entered into His rest (word G#2663) has also ceased from his own works, as YHWH did from His. Therefore, let us be zealous to enter into that rest (word G#2663), so that no one may fall after the same example of unbelief."

#G4520 – sabbatismos, sabbatismos: a sabbath rest, Original Word: σαββατισμός, οῦ, ὁ, Part of Speech: Noun, Masculine, Transliteration: sabbatismos, Phonetic Spelling: (sab-bat-is-mos'), Short Definition: a Sabbath rest, Definition: a keeping of the Sabbath, a Sabbath rest., Word Origin - from a derivation of sabbaton, Definition - a sabbath rest

#G2663 – katapausis, katapausis: rest, Original Word: κατάπαυσις, εως, ἡ, Part of Speech: Noun, Feminine, Transliteration: katapausis, Phonetic Spelling: (kat-ap'-ow-sis), Short Definition: resting, rest, Definition: (in the Old Testament of the rest attained by the settlement in Canaan), resting, rest, dwelling, habitation., Word Origin - from katapauó, Definition - rest

Contrast words 4520 from Hebrews 4:9 to all the other "NT" mentions of Sabbath...

Hebrews 4:9, "Therefore, there remains the keeping of the Sabbath (word G#4520)to the people of YHWH."

#G4520sabbaton, sabbaton: the Sabbath, i.e. the seventh day (of the week), Original Word: σάββατον, ου, τό, Part of Speech: Noun, Neuter, Transliteration: sabbaton, Phonetic Spelling: (sab'-bat-on), Short Definition: the Sabbath, a week, Definition: the Sabbath, a week., Word Origin - of Hebrew origin shabbath, Definition - the Sabbath, i.e. the seventh day (of the week), 68 Occurrences

2 Peter 3:8, “But, beloved ones, let not this one matter be hidden from you: that with יהוה one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”

Hosheyah 6:1-3, “Come, and let us turn back to יהוה. For He has torn but He does heal us, He has stricken but He binds us up. After two days He shall revive us, on the third day He shall raise us up, so that we live before Him. So let us know, let us pursue to know יהוה. His going forth is as certain as the morning. And He comes to us like the rain, like the latter rain watering the earth.”

Rev 20:4-6, "And I saw thrones – and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them – and the lives of those who had been beheaded because of the witness they bore to יהושע and because of the Word of Ylohim, and who did not worship the beast, nor his image, and did not receive his mark upon their foreheads or upon their hands. And they lived and reigned with Messiah for a thousand years and the rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended) – this is the first resurrection. Blessed and set-apart is the one having part in the first resurrection. The second death possesses no authority over these, but they shall be priests of YHWH and of Messiah, and shall reign with Him a thousand years."

For Messiah said:

Matt 11:27-30, "All things have been delivered to Me by My Father.

The real rest is this:

Revelation 14:13, "And I heard a voice from heaven saying to me: Write: Blessed are the dead, the ones dying in the Messiah from now on! Yes, says the Spirit: because they will rest from their labors, and their works do follow them!"

Hebrews 3:7-19, “Therefore, as the Set-apart Spirit says, “Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, in the day of trial in the wilderness, where your fathers tried Me, proved Me, and saw My works forty years. Therefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, ‘They always go astray in their heart, and they have not known My ways. As I swore in My wrath, ‘If they shall enter into My rest’?(Psa 95:7-11) Look out, brothers, lest there be in any of you a wicked heart of unbelief in falling away from the living Father, but encourage one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened by the deceivableness of sin. For we have become partakers of Messiah if we hold fast the beginning of our trust firm to the end, while it is said, “Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.” For who, having heard, rebelled? Was it not all who came out of Mitsrayim, led by Mosheh? And with whom was He grieved forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose corpses fell in the wilderness? And to whom did He swear that they would not enter into His rest, but to those who did not obey? So we see that they were unable to enter in because of unbelief.”

Revelation 21:4-8 And YHWH will wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there will be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, nor will there be any more pain, for the former things have passed away. And He Who sat upon the throne, said: Behold, I make all things new. And He said to me: Write, for these words are true and faithful.And He said to me: It is done! I am Aleph and Tau, the Beginning and the End. I will give to him who thirsts of the fountain of the water of life freely. He who overcomes will inherit all things; and I will be his Father, and he will be My son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and worshipers of false gods, and all liars, will have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone--which is the second death."

Hi Studyman,

Well most of your post is just ignorant historically fantasy, so not worth answering. Who is rejecting God;s Sabbath? Certainly not I or any other Christian we recognise God's Sabbath. It is not a particular day like the Law commands and demands under the Law of Moses.

Christians are nit under the Mosaic Sabbath! That's not to say we say there is no Sabbath rest ;)
