Yes I do honour and respect God's Holy days but you may be aware that Jesus brought changes to the law that now requires spiritually celebrating them rather than the old physical way....but they still stand and are respected. They were not only given to Israel but any Stranger who sojourned among them, all came under the same law Ex 12.
All commandments that were given to Moses contained in Ordinances are blotted out - and in any case never pertained to gentiles and/or christians. What we have are the commandments given by God personally - not Moses, Ex 20v1-17, which Jesus kept and Paul calls spiritual (eternal) holy just and good referring to 'loving God and neighbour. As for not knowing whether the sabbath is saturday or sunday is a weak excuse for not keeping it, do you think God is unable to establish something and not make it known to His people ? Of course the disobedient and unbelievers won't know.
If I understand your post correctly you keep some days holy (the Sabbath), but only honour and respect other holy days (e.g., Offering of Firstfruits, the Festival of Weeks, the Festival of Trumpets) by celebrating them "spiritually." You distinguish between the two types of holy days because God gave us the Sabbath but the others are only from Moses. Is that what you are saying? Heh, go figure. And here I thought Moses was a prophet of God and he only spoke was God communicated to him. Thank you for making me aware of this jot and tittle that has been added to your bible.

===============================

I give up on asking you guys if you believe it's a sin for you to judge people as to whether they celebrate the Sabbath on Saturday or Sunday? So judge away! :)

God's day of rest has not ended. We are still in it.

Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it
must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.

Hello Prov910.

I don't think any one is judging you regarding whether you celebrate keeping the 4th commandment or not, We all give to God that which we feel is his due.
God bless you.

You can't be serious - how can you just follow a church regardless ? a day to us may be neither here nor there but don't you care what GOD has to say about it ? He sanctified and hallowed one day above any other making it 'holy time to Him !
If that does not spark some response in a person there can't be much life left in them...and a missed oportunity of being re-charged/re-generated.
I don't follow a church. I follow Jesus.

Oh, I don't think anyone is judging me personally. But I know there are a handful of denominations that keep Saturday as the Sabbath. And I think that's perfectly fine and nice. The problem is, they *constantly* judge all other denominations that worship on Sunday. (One denomination in particular seems zealously vocal about this.) As for me personally, my own beliefs coincide about 99% with the stated beliefs of that denomination. But I can't help but think they are not acting as Jesus would have us act in the way they judge others for Sunday worship. That's all I'm getting at.

Hello Prov910, I understand, I do not belong to any church or denomination. I do not believe any one should judge others.
We must all be true to ourselves.

FOR THE RECORD

The first character of Revelation 17 is the “whore” or “woman,”
which in biblical language represents a religion, or church
(e.g.Ephesians 5; 2 -Corinthians 11:2).

The second is the beast that has seven heads and 10 horns.
The third is the “saints” or “martyrs,”
a group of people the “woman” lives to persecute and destroy.

God prophesies that this woman, or church, would have an
international presence, and would come to possess incredible wealth:

“And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour,
and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls

She is conspicuously wealthy, overflowing with material splendor.
She is a famous religion known and revered by people across the planet
(see also verses 2 and 15 and Revelation 18:3).

The Roman Catholic Church is the most recognizable and illustrious religion on Earth.
Worldwide,it has more than 1.2 billion followers, roughly 400,000 priests and some 221,000
parishes. Catholicism has a presence on every continent and in every nation.

More than 5 million tourists flock to Vatican City annually.
They visit to admire Michelangelo’s legendary frescoes, to
attend mass in the Sistine Chapel, and in the hope of catching
a glimpse of the most venerated figure on the planet: the pope.

The Catholic religion is the most famous Christian religion
on Earth, yet it is shrouded in mystery and bloodshed
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catholic_Church

The Catholic Church teaches that it is the one true church founded by Jesus Christ
Maintains that the doctrine on faith and morals that it declares as definitive is infallible
the largest non-government provider of education and medical serv. in the world

Catholic belief holds that the Church "is the continuing presence of Jesus on earth"
and that it alone possesses the full means of salvation

The church, in fact, has built Western civilization”
(How the Catholic Church Built Western Civilization)
a book by Tom Woods explores the reasons why we are all,
as a civilization, deeply indebted to the Catholic Church.

It is inaccurate to imply that the Catholic Church is solely
responsible for building Western civilization. The influence
of English-speaking civilization, which had a distinct antipopish,
anti-Catholic identity, is responsible as much as if not
more than the Catholic Church. But Woods’s fundamental
point is correct. Catholic leadership and teaching has had
a decisive and far-reaching influence on Western religion,
politics, culture, science and education, often in ways most
people fail to recognize.

The Vatican has presided over the rise and fall of kings
and governments, the emergence of political and ideological
movements, and the discovery and colonization of new lands
and peoples.

The Catholic religion has influenced every facet of Western society, from art and music
to science to the measurement of time to the annual holidays we celebrate.

Its influence over Europe is even more extensive: It has shaped
Europe’s justice systems, its educational institutions, many of
its most prominent cities, its economies and even agriculture.

When it comes to religion, every Christian denomination—
except one—can directly or indirectly trace its lineage back to
Roman Catholicism.

The Roman Catholic Church is the most defining and influential
institution in Europe’s history—yet somehow it remains a total mystery!

“The [European] Community is living largely by the heritage of the Holy Roman Empire,
though the great majority of the people who liveby it don’t know by what heritage they live.”
—Otto von Habsburg--a descendant of that famous line of European royalty

Among historians, it is generally accepted that the HolyRoman Empire was
the cyclical reincarnation of the ancient Roman Empire, presided over in each
instance by the Catholic

Church. Oxford Dictionary defines it as the “empire set up in Western Europe following
the coronation of Charlemagne as emperor in the year 800. It was created by the medieval
papacy in an attempt to unite Christendom under one rule.”

The founders of the EU, and many European leaders today, readily acknowledge that the
supreme goal of the EuropeanUnion is to live “by the heritage of the Holy Roman Empire.”

European politicians regularly declare their admiration for Charlemagne and publicly admit
that they seek to create a united Europe that “embodies the tradition of Charlemagne.”

What is the “heritage of the Holy Roman Empire”? Who was Charlemagne?
What is the “tradition of Charlemagne”? Whos calander do we follow today?
So did you get all that from the Adventist book "National Sunday Law"?

If Jesus fulfilled them all for us why would He give us the commandments to love God and neighbour ? If all the law is done away with why would we have scripture telling us it is sin to transgress it ?
None of these scriptures make sense if they don't apply to us ! what for if we are not to DO anything ?
If one is in agreement with what GOD/Jesus say and do how can it then be seen as 'your own work ....you tell me that ! You are blatantly denying GOD's authority when you take from Him and ascribing it to man. It is you who is making a gross mistake in this.
Do you just not read the New Testament???

Its mostly all in Galatians. It would take maybe 45 minutes to get through it.

Galatians 3:24-25
24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

You said follow Paul as he followed Christ. Does it seem like Paul was preaching work at the law?

Just in case, this should clear it up;

Galatians 3:10-12

10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.

Do you just not understand?

really - never seen where you asked me the first time.

I choice the laws of God, you can follow mans tradations if you want, that is your choice

I told you, Sunday Worship is based on Scripture, Heb. 10:25, and if you must connect it to a command from God to Isreal, then it would be from this Scripture, and NOT SABBATH KEEPING:

Leviticus 23:10-11 (ASV)
[SUP]10 [/SUP] Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye are come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring the sheaf of the first-fruits of your harvest unto the priest:
[SUP]11 [/SUP] and he shall wave the sheaf before Jehovah, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.

1 Corinthians 15:20-23 (HCSB)
[SUP]20 [/SUP] But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.
[SUP]21 [/SUP] For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead also comes through a man.
[SUP]22 [/SUP] For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.
[SUP]23 [/SUP] But each in his own order: Christ, the firstfruits; afterward, at His coming, those who belong to Christ.
Romans 8:23 (HCSB)
[SUP]23 [/SUP] And not only that, but we ourselves who have the Spirit as the firstfruits—we also groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for adoption, the redemption of our bodies.

James 1:18 (HCSB)
[SUP]18 [/SUP] By His own choice, He gave us a new birth by the message of truth so that we would be the firstfruits of His creatures.

Revelation 14:4 (HCSB)
[SUP]4 [/SUP] These are the ones not defiled with women, for they have kept their virginity. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. They were redeemed from the human race as the firstfruits for God and the Lamb.

Hebrews 10:24-25 (HCSB)
[SUP]24 [/SUP] And let us be concerned about one another in order to promote love and good works,
[SUP]25 [/SUP] not staying away from our ⌊worship⌋ meetings, as some habitually do, but encouraging each other, and all the more as you see the day drawing near.

This is what we celebrate when we worship on Sunday.

Matthew 28:1-6 (HCSB)
[SUP]1 [/SUP] After the Sabbath, as the first day of the week was dawning, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to view the tomb.
[SUP]2 [/SUP] Suddenly there was a violent earthquake, because an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and approached ⌊the tomb⌋. He rolled back the stone and was sitting on it.
[SUP]3 [/SUP] His appearance was like lightning, and his robe was as white as snow.
[SUP]4 [/SUP] The guards were so shaken from fear of him that they became like dead men.
[SUP]5 [/SUP] But the angel told the women, “Don’t be afraid, because I know you are looking for Jesus who was crucified.
[SUP]6 [/SUP] He is not here! For He has been resurrected, just as He said. Come and see the place where He lay.

Acts 20:7 (NASB)
[SUP]7 [/SUP] On the first day of the week, when we were gathered together to break bread, Paul began talking to them, intending to leave the next day, and he prolonged his message until midnight.

1 Corinthians 16:2 (HCSB)
[SUP]2 [/SUP] On the first day of the week, each of you is to set something aside and save in keeping with how he prospers, so that no collections will need to be made when I come.

How then are you Obedient to this verse?

Hebrews 10:24-25 (HCSB)
[SUP]24 [/SUP] And let us be concerned about one another in order to promote love and good works,

Matthew 18:20 (KJV)
For where two or three are gathered together in my name,
there am I in the midst of them.

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth
not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth

God expects the spiritual leader of His people to be His “watchman” (Ezekiel 33:7)
My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are righteousness.

If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not
of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

“The fear of the[Eternal] is the beginning of wisdom: a good
understanding have all they that do his commandments (Psalm 111:10).

And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should
believe a lie: 2 Thessalonians 2:11 (KJV)

Jesus Christ warned, "Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come
in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many" (Matthew 24:4–5).

"There are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ" (Galatians 1:7).

"But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you
than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.

As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel
to you than what you have received, let him be accursed" (Galatians 1:8–9).

For (false Christs) and (false prophets shall rise), and shall shew signs and
wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. Mark 13:22 (KJV)

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great
signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive
the very elect. Matthew 24:24

Beware of (false prophets), which come to you in (sheep's clothing),
but inwardly they are ravening wolves.(Matthew 7:15)

As I urged you when I was going to Macedonia, remain at Ephesus so that
you may (charge certain persons) not to teach (any different doctrine)
(1 Timothy 3)

But there were (false prophets) also among the people, even as there shall be
(false teachers among you), who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even
denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
(2 Peter 2:1)

These people are the ones who are creating divisions among you. They follow
their natural instincts because they do not have God’s Spirit in them.(Jude 1:19)

In their greed these teachers will exploit you with fabricated stories.
Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction
has not been sleeping.(2 Peter 2:3)

a man named Simon had been a sorcerer there for many years,
amazing the people of Samaria and claiming to be someone great,
a god to the people.

Everyone, from the least to the greatest, often spoke of him as “the Great One
—the Power of God.” They listened closely to him because for a long time he had
astounded them with his magic.Acts 8:9-10)

These are the things you are to teach and insist on.
If anyone teaches otherwise and does not agree to the sound instruction
of our Lord Jesus Christ and to godly teaching, 1 Timothy 6:3

Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from the true faith;
they will follow deceptive spirits and (teachings that come from demons). 1 Timothy 4:14

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name?
and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?(Matthew 7:22)

"Many will "begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying, 'Lord, Lord, open for us,'
Jesus said "Depart from Me, (all you workers of iniquity)."

Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away
disciples after them. So be on your guard! Remember that (for three years) I never stopped
(warning each of you night and day with tears).Acts 20:30

Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you
may not be carried away by the error of (the lawless) and (fall from your secure position).
(2 Peter 3:17)

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their
own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers.
(II Timothy 4:3)

I know that false teachers, like vicious wolves, will (come in among you after I leave),
(not sparing the flock).Even some men from (your own group) will rise up and (distort
the truth) in order to draw a following.(Acts 20:29)

I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in
the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel, which is really no gospel at all.

(A great wave of persecution began that day), sweeping over the church in Jerusalem;
and (all the believers except the apostles) were scattered through the regions of Judea
and Samaria.(acts 8:9)

- all the believers scattered except the apostles, and they were tortured and killed.
We should be aware of false teachers who desire to destroy our faith

Daniel 7:25 (KJV)
And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints
of the most High, and (think to change times and laws): and they shall be given into
his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

I told you, Sunday Worship is based on Scripture,.
Telling me your worldly views and proving in scripture is two seperate things
sunday worship is { not based } in scripture, but idol worship is based on the sun.

Sun worship infects ancient Israel

In the ancient world, ‘sun worship’ was one of the most common forms
of pagan idolatry. Immediately after Israel left Egypt,

God warned His people against being “driven to worship ... the sun.”
Deuteronomy 4:19.

Yet Israel later yielded to temptation, compromised with the nations around
them, and dedicated their “horses ... to the sun.” 2 Kings 23:11.

During a time of revival, King Josiah purged much of Israel and
“burned the chariots of the sun with fire.” 2 Kings 23:11.

Before the Babylonian captivity, many Israelite leaders rejected their Creator,
yielded again to idolatry, and “worshipped the sun toward the east.” Ezekiel 8:16.

At the same time, God declared that they “hid their eyes from My Sabbaths.”
Ezekiel 22:26.

Thus ancient Israel shifted from Sabbath keeping to sun worship.
In 1 Corinthians 10:1-11, Paul warned the Church against repeating
the sins of ancient Israel.

Sun worship, “the day of the sun,” and “Sunday”

The Romans called the sun god “Mithra” and “Apollo,” and they especially worshiped
the sun on “the first day of the week,” also called “Dies Solis” (Latin), which means,
“day of the sun.” The name “Sunday” was adopted “because this day was anciently
dedicated to the sun, or to its worship. The first day of the week.”
Webster’s Dictionary; 1929 edition.

A predicted “falling away” within the Church the bible records.
eventually within Christianity that “the man of sin” would arise. 2 Thessalonians 2:3.

The Babylonian language was in use hundreds of years before the Hebrew race
was founded by Abraham. That language designated the seventh day of the week
as “sa-ba-tu”, meaning rest day and is another indisputable proof that the Bible
Sabbath was not and is not exclusively Jewish.

This is evidence totally independent of the Scriptures that confirms the Biblical teaching that
God’s seventh day Sabbath predates Judaism. The concept of a Saturday holy day of rest was
understood, accepted and practiced by virtually every culture from Babylon through modern times.
In the study of the many languages of mankind you will find two important facts:

1. The seventh day of the week is called the “Sabbath” in the majority of principal languages
in the world. (English names are of pagan origin)

2. There is not even one language which designates another day as the “day of rest.”

St. Paul said in Galatians 4:9-11: "
...You observe days and months and seasons and years.
I fear for you, that perhaps I have labored over you in vain."
-AN OBSERVER OF TIME?

Enchantments, witchcraft, familiar spirits, and wizards.
Its speaking of the occult. Not about following sabbath days.

GAL.4
[8] Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them
which by nature are no gods.[9] But now, after that ye have known God,
or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly
elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?

[10] YE OBSERVE DAYS, AND MONTHS, AND TIMES, AND YEARS.
[11] I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.

Its speaking of those who observe times,
it says nothing about sabbaths or feast days.

DEUT.18
[9] When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee,
thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.
[10] There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his
daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination,

OR AN OBSERVER OF TIMES, or an enchanter, or a witch,
[11] Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits,
or a wizard, or a necromancer.

2 CHR.33
[3] For he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father
had broken down, and he reared up altars for Baalim, and made groves,
and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.
[4] Also he built altars in the house of the LORD, whereof
the LORD had said, In Jerusalem shall my name be for ever.
[5] And he built altars for all the host of heaven in
the two courts of the house of the LORD.
[6] And he caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom:

ALSO HE OBSERVED TIMES, and used enchantments, and used
witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards:
he wrought much evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger

Enchantments, witchcraft, familiar spirits, and wizards.
Its speaking of the occult. Not about following sabbath days.

LEV.19
[26] Ye shall not eat any thing with the blood:

neither shall ye use enchantment, (NOR OBSERVE TIMES).
[27] Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners
of thy beard. Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any
marks upon you: I am the LORD. Do not prostitute thy daughter, to cause her to be
a whore; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness.

[30] (YE SHALL KEEP MY SABBATHS),
and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD.

-You shall not observe times, BUT you shall keep my sabbaths says the Lord.

Gal 4:3 Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:
Notice the last half of the verse? Elements of what? Judaism? No, the world.

Gal 4:8 Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature
are no gods. Judaism knew God, they did not recognize Christ when He came.

Gal 4:9 But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn
ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?

What were they returning to? Weak and beggarly elements of what?
Gal 4:3 Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under
the elements of the world: Who was Paul addressing here?

"Paul's letter is addressed "to the churches of Galatia" (Galatians 1:2), but the location of
these churches is a matter of debate. A minority of scholars have argued that the "Galatia"
is an ethnic reference to a Celtic people living in northern Asia Minor, but most agree that it
is a geographical reference to the Roman province in central Asia Minor, which had been settled by
immigrant Celts in the 270s BC and retained Gaulish features of culture and language in Paul's day."

Paul was not addressing Judah, he was addressing someone else.

Now read verse 10...

Gal 4:10 Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years.
These are not Jews observing Judaism, these are those who are of the world in Asia Minor
observing the weak and beggarly elements of the world, not Judaism.

Poor woman just asked a question about what to do seeking a place to worship on Sabbath... Then she gets the third degree.... She didn't come in bullying everyone that worships on Sunday. My husband gave her an excellent idea to find a worship service online on Saturday so she can worship the way she wants to on Saturday the 7th day.

I commend you June 123 for seeking a service on the day you choose to worship and don't let anyone discourage you in worshiping God on the Sabbath. Hugs and glad you found an online service.

the New Covenant validates God's laws by putting them right into
the minds and hearts of true Christians!

Jesus "magnified" God's law (Isaiah 42:21, KJV). He taught that Christians are
not to murder, and must not even harbor an attitude of hate (Matthew 5:21–24)

"If you want to enter into life, keep the commandments" (Matthew 19:17).
the bible says the law was ordained unto life, and Wherefore [the law is holy],
and the commandment holy, and just, and good. - the law was [not] the curse

Christ came "to confirm the promises made to the fathers" (Romans 15:8).
He outlined the terms and conditions of the New Covenant, saying:
"Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God" (Luke 4:4; Deu 8:3).

As He explained: "The law and the prophets were until John. Since that time the
kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing into it. And it is easier
for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail" (Luke 16:16–17).

Locates, I have been to lots of sites to find God, Having read lots of posts I felt drawn to this one.

The question I asked was what was in my mind at the time, Was it wrong of me to join this forum?
No it is not wrong for you to join and very glad you are here. This is a hot topic always has been and always will be. The truth is there for everyone to read but not everyone sees what they read even when it is in plain sight and stated clearly. Not our job to convict and convince of the truth that is Holy Spirits job, our job is to share. I gave up arguing about this long time ago. I like you will state the facts and pray that the Holy Spirit will do His job to convict and convince of the truth.

Bible says in John 8:31So He said to the Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, you are truly My disciples. 32Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

I for one am glad you are hear and your original post was harmless you were just asking a question on what to do.... Welcome to CC and I hope you stick around.

Because they are 'deceived and refuse to admit error and a false Christ Mat 24v4,5 ! Thing is, all alive on earth today were born into error and God takes out one by one those who repent and believe the Word of God Jesus our walking talking living example, the same yesterday, today and forever.....
HE will not be manipulated !
Is it a sin to worship on Sunday? Here we poor Christians are deceived to believe that when two or more of us are gathered together in His name, there Christ will be with us also? My goodness, I hope you inform Jesus of His mistake! Otherwise we might all keep worshiping, adoring, and loving Him every day of the week and go to hell for it.

Is it a sin to worship on Sunday?

It is not a sin to worship God [any day] of the week.
But we are also told to not follow ancient Israels example.

What God has commanded was to remember the Sabbath day ,
and not work for money on this day He made for man.

If Sabbath-day observances are still required,
so would the burnt offerings which went along with them (Leviticus 19:30; 23:2-3;
Numbers 28:1-10; 29:39-40; I Chronicles. 23:30-31; II Chronicles 31:2-4; Isaiah 1:13).
The annual sabbaths were not part of the law of Moses, but were observed before
the ritualistic ordinances contained in the law of Moses were given.

the feast of Unleavened Bread, as well as the Passover,
was ordained and established forever, prior to the Old Covenant.

—before one word of the ceremonial law of Moses had been given or written
before God even proposed the Old Covenant! What the law of Moses or the
Old Covenant did not bring or institute, they cannot take away!

-
“Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, and in the seventh day shall be
a feast to the [Eternal memorial)—“And it shall be for a sign”—that is, having
also a future meaning—“unto thee upon thine hand, and for a memorial between
thine eyes”—having to do with both works and will—why?—

“that the Lord’s law may be in thy mouth …. Thou shalt therefore keep this ordinance ”

-
21Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Put your burnt offerings unto your sacrifices,
and eat flesh. For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought
them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices:

But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be
my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.

Howbeit I sent unto you all my servants the prophets, rising early and sending them,
saying, Oh, do not this abominable thing that I hate.

For I earnestly protested unto your fathers in the day that I brought them up out of the land
of Egypt, even unto this day, rising early and protesting, saying, Obey my voice.

Notice especially, that originally there were no sacrifices— no meat and drink ordinances
held on these days. See Jeremiah 7:22-23. These days were not instituted for the purpose
of the sacrifices as some have wrongly supposed.

These holy days are memorials, and twice plainly called such. Where do we find such
plain language calling the Sabbath a memorial or sunday (See also Leviticus 23:24.)

[h=3]Romans 12:1 (KJV)[/h]
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies
a livingsacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

[h=3]Romans 2:29 (KJV)[/h]
But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart,
in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Thank you KohenMatt,
At the moment I use the sabbath to learn more about God, I do this every day but on the sabbath I pray harder for understanding.

Thank you for your blessing, may God bless you.
And that is really the crux of the matter that on the sabbath day we receive instruction from God in a personal relationship and not through another man. We can worship any day but this does not replace being taught by God on HIS holy day.
