FOR THE RECORD:

I know Sabbath is Saturday, and always will be Saturday.

We are NOT celebrating Sabbath when we worship on Sunday.

We are celebrating our Love Relationship, with our Risen LORD, and HE ROSE ON THE MORROW after SABBATH.

Such widespread use of forms of the word Sabbath for the seventh day of the week, Saturday, is clear evidence that speakers of these languages understood which day is the Sabbath.
Likewise, the fact that in no language do we see “Sabbath” similarly linked with Sunday, the first day of the week, is an obvious confirmation that this day never was considered the biblical Sabbath until later religious leaders tried to substitute Sunday for the true Sabbath day.

Arabic: Sabet
Armenian: Shabat
Bosnian: Subota
Bulgarian: Sabota
Corsican: Sàbatu
Croatian: Subota
Czech: Sobota
Georgian: Sabati
Greek: Savvato
Indonesian: Sabtu
Italian: Sabato
Latin: Sabbatum
Maltese: is-Sibt
Polish: Sobota
Portuguese: Sábado
Romanian: Sambata
Russian: Subbota
Serbian: Subota
Slovak: Sobota
Slovene: Sobota
Somali: Sabti
Spanish: Sabado
Sudanese: Saptu
Ukranian: Subota

Whoever told you that we teach and believe that we are keeping the Sabbath by worshiping on Sunday; IS PLUM FULL OF MUD. Our Sunday worship has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH THE KEEPING THE SABBATH LAW. It is celebrating our RISEN LORD, and being obedient to this command:

Hebrews 10:19-25 (HCSB)
[SUP]19 [/SUP] Therefore, brothers, since we have boldness to enter the sanctuary through the blood of Jesus,
[SUP]20 [/SUP] by a new and living way He has opened for us through the curtain (that is, His flesh),
[SUP]21 [/SUP] and since we have a great high priest over the house of God,
[SUP]22 [/SUP] let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, our hearts sprinkled ⌊clean⌋ from an evil conscience and our bodies washed in pure water.
[SUP]23 [/SUP] Let us hold on to the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.
[SUP]24 [/SUP] And let us be concerned about one another in order to promote love and good works,
[SUP]25 [/SUP] not staying away from our ⌊worship⌋ meetings, as some habitually do, but encouraging each other, and all the more as you see the day drawing near.

And we can be obedient to that any day of the week and every day of the week. Our worship is NOT a substitute for Keeping the Sabbath, IT IS AN ACT OF LOVE FOR JESUS CHRIST.

In the original autographs we find that the word Sabbath as rest term. Not a time sensitive word .
The paraphrases seemed to have some difficulty in keeping with the original authgroaphs .
to fast TWICE on a specific day (the Sabbath)" did not make sense to them .

The literal translation that does not add a time sensitive word reads

Matthew 28Young's Literal Translation (YLT)
28 And on the eve of the sabbaths, at the dawn, toward the first of the sabbaths,
came Mary the Magdalene, and the other Mary, to see the sepulchre,

It could be paraphrased as below. But again a rest term has nothing
to do with a time element .Every day is a Sabbath day to a Christian

And on the last of the old testament Sabbaths (rest not week) ),
at the dawn, toward the first of the new era of sabbaths, came Mary the Magdalene,
and the other Mary, to see the sepulchre,

We are not to add others meaning to a word it can and does take away the authors intent.
Then why do you go ahead and do just that, to add your own meaning from the origianel authors
intent. Because that translation you are using sure twists that verse as far as I can see.

original autographs ? could you show us this, is this [a concordence] issue? do you use one?
Did not God rest Himself from work and was refreshed , this on the 7th day of the week?

Mat 28:1 In the end(G3796) of the sabbath,G4521
as it began to dawnG2020 towardG1519 the firstG3391 day of the week,G4521
came Mary Magdalene andthe other Mary to see the sepulchre.

G3796
ὀψέ
opse
op-seh'
From the same as G3694 (through the idea of backwardness); (adverbially)
late in the day; by extension after the close of the day: - (at) even, in the end.

G4521
σάββατον
sabbaton
sab'-bat-on
Of Hebrew origin [H7676]; the Sabbath (that is, Shabbath), or day of weekly repose from secular
avocations (also the observance or institution itself); by extension a se'nnight, that is, the interval
between two Sabbaths; likewise the plural in all the above applications: - sabbath (day), week.

G2020
ἐπιφώσκω
epiphōskō
ep-ee-foce'-ko
A form of G2017; to begin to grow light: - begin to dawn, X draw on.

G3391
μία
mia
mee'-ah
Irregular feminine of G1520; one or first: - a (certain), + agree, first, one, X other.

Matthew 28:1 kjv
In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward [the first [day] of the week],
came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.

Mark 16:2 (KJV)
And very early in the morning the first day of the week,
they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.

Luke 24:1 (KJV)
Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning,
they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared,
and certain others with them.

John 20:1 (KJV)
The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark,
unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.

John 20:19 (KJV)
Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week,
when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews,
came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.

paraphrased ?

-add all scripture up : after the [7th day] past, on [first day] of the week.
clearly this is talking about a day of the week here, a time sensitive word day of week

there is nothing about a [new era of sabbaths] mentioned at all.
John version said Mary found the tomb was empty before it was even light, still dark.
nothing in the bible says to worship at the new dawn, or sunrise service or sun-day worship.

The first day of the week mentiond in the bible[8], was the first work day of the week.
[after the rest on the Sabbath day], that Jesus and Paul also as custom followed God.

Gen 1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night.
And the evening H6153and the morning H1242were the first dayH3117.
-
21Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Put your burnt offerings unto your sacrifices,
and eat flesh. For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in [the day] that I brought
them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices

23But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be
my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.

24But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in
the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward

But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully;

Notice which day Paul and Barnabas used for preaching to Gentiles:

1) Acts 13:14-15, 42-44: “But when they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia,
and went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and sat down. And after the reading of the law
and the prophets the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying, Ye men and brethren,

if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, say on.”
Then Paul stood up, and spoke, preaching Christ to them.

“And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, [the Gentiles besought]
that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.”

Now since Paul was preaching “the grace of God” (verse 43),
here was his opportunity to straighten out these Gentiles,
and explain that the Sabbath was done away.

Why should he wait a whole week, in order to preach to the Gentiles
on the next Sabbath? If the day had now been changed to Sunday,
why did not Paul tell them they would not have to wait a week, but
the very next day, Sunday, was the proper day for this service?

But notice what Paul did.

“And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.”

Here Paul waited a whole week, passing up a Sunday,
in order to preach to the Gentiles that besought teaching, on the Sabbath day.

In the Bible we find that there are over 40 verses from Paul alone as to why circumcision
is not done anymore. How important are the Ten Commandments in comparison to circumcision?

If Paul says that the Ten Commandments are what matters and Circumcision is nothing, and we
have more than forty verses and up to ten verses at a time explaining that Circumcision of the flesh
is not relevant anymore, then how many scriptures should we expect to have telling us that
the Sabbath is changed to Sunday?

1 Corinthians 7:19 “Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing,
but the keeping of the Commandments of God.”

The fact of the matter is that there is not one scripture that says, “The Sabbath is now Sunday.”
After all, the Ten Commandments are the ONLY thing that God spoke in such incredible fiery
majesty, thundering His voice from the mountain top as everyone below trembled in fear and then
personally wrote this magnificent law into stone tablets, yet there is not one clear scripture.

Just assumptions! One of God’s Commandments supposedly goes
and we do not have even ONE clear scripture. Why not? The answer is simple.

It was never changed to Sunday by the authority of God so no such scripture exists.
It was actually changed as a result of SUN worship, hence the name SUN-day.

The English names for the days of the week are pagan names.
In over one hundred other languages in the world, Saturday is still called the Sabbath just as
it was named at creation. This dates right back to Babel in Genesis 11 where Saturday was
recognized as the Sabbath day and was incorporated into the very name of the day.

This predates Judaism and the giving of the law.
The following is the origin of the pagan names in day order.

1. Sunday - Dies solis (Latin) which means “day of the sun” from which we get Sunday.
Sun worship was marked by the use of the halo, or nimbus, which originated with the
pagan Greeks and Romans to represent their sun god, Helios. It was later on that
artists then adopted it for use in Christian images.

The halo is actually the sun behind the person’s head, as shown in illustrations online.
It’s easy to recognize once one realizes what it is, although it’s also often stylized
to make it less obvious. Originally a very devious way of mixing idolatrous sun
worship with Christianity by converts who were not all that converted, and as a
result the pagan halo became a very misleading tradition in Christian art.

2. Monday - Dies lunae (from which comes the word lunar), means moon day,
from which we get the shortened version, Monday.

3. Tuesday - Dies Martis, means mars day, after Mars, the Roman god of war.
The day was known to the pagan Germans after their own god of war, Tiw
(pronounced too) as Tiw’s (pronounced tooz) day, from which we get Tuesday.

4. Wednesday - Dies mercuri, means mercury day. Woden (pronounced woe-den) was the Germanic
version of the pagan god mercury, and they named the day Woden’s day, from which we get Wednesday.

5. Thursday - Dies Jovis means Jove’s day, or Jupiter’s day. Thor was the Germanic version
of the god Jupiter, so they called the day Thor’s Day, from which we got Thursday.

6. Friday - Dies Veneris means Venus Day. The Germanic version of this female god was Frigg,
or Freyja (pronounced fry-yah), so they called the day Freyja day, from which we got Friday.

7. Saturday - Dies Saturni means Saturn day, from which came Saturday.
The pagans also observed their Saturnalia festival in the last week of December,
a time when work ceased, gifts were exchanged, and slaves feasted with their masters.

Abraham lived in Ur of the Chaldees, a city in Babylon at the heart of
the civilized world. Archeological evidence reveals that the Babylonians
.
They knew the cause of
the eclipses, and … could predict them. …

They had correct views of the structure of the solar system, and knew the
order of emplacement of the planets”
(John William Draper, History of the Conflict Between Religion and Science).

Other history books corroborate that when the Greeks conquered Babylon,
they discovered advanced astronomical observations and even a map
representing the world as round, with Babylon near the center.

Babylonian priests knew where the sun, moon and planets were positioned,
recognized their orbits and calculated where they would appear at any
given time in the future.

The world traces its astronomical knowledge to Babylon.
Babylon traces it back to [Abraham?], the servant of God.

There is NO natural weekly cycle [7 days] in nature that man can follow, or from the stars.
It is from creation week, when God placed his presence in it making it holy and known.

How did Noah know how to record months and years when the flood happened,
if he did not know Gods calander or new moons to calacate the year.

-

The Origins of the Seven-Day Week, Eviatar Zerubavel

"Days, months, and years were given to us by nature, but we invented the week for ourselves.
There is nothing inevitable about a seven-day cycle, or about any other kind of week; it represents
an arbitrary rhythm imposed on our activities, unrelated to anything in the natural order.

But where the week exists—and there have been many cultures where it doesn't—it is so deeply
embedded in our experience that we hardly ever question its rightness, or think of it as an artificial
convention; for most of us it is a matter of 'second nature.'

Psalms 104:19

He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down.

Genesis 1:14

And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night;
and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

but where did we get the week ?, not from signs from above, why 7 days a week?

Job 12:12 (KJV)

With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding.

someone living 900 years would sure have observed the goings of the stars over time also

but revieled knowledge is something else

Many have already told you that they follow Christ and not any day
- Saturday or Sunday. That Christ Himself is our true Sabbath.
FOR THE RECORD:
I know Sabbath is Saturday, and always will be Saturday.
FOR THE RECORD

The first character of Revelation 17 is the “whore” or “woman,”
which in biblical language represents a religion, or church
(e.g.Ephesians 5; 2 -Corinthians 11:2).

The second is the beast that has seven heads and 10 horns.
The third is the “saints” or “martyrs,”
a group of people the “woman” lives to persecute and destroy.

God prophesies that this woman, or church, would have an
international presence, and would come to possess incredible wealth:

“And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour,
and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls

She is conspicuously wealthy, overflowing with material splendor.
She is a famous religion known and revered by people across the planet
(see also verses 2 and 15 and Revelation 18:3).

The Roman Catholic Church is the most recognizable and illustrious religion on Earth.
Worldwide,it has more than 1.2 billion followers, roughly 400,000 priests and some 221,000
parishes. Catholicism has a presence on every continent and in every nation.

More than 5 million tourists flock to Vatican City annually.
They visit to admire Michelangelo’s legendary frescoes, to
attend mass in the Sistine Chapel, and in the hope of catching
a glimpse of the most venerated figure on the planet: the pope.

The Catholic religion is the most famous Christian religion
on Earth, yet it is shrouded in mystery and bloodshed
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catholic_Church

The Catholic Church teaches that it is the one true church founded by Jesus Christ
Maintains that the doctrine on faith and morals that it declares as definitive is infallible
the largest non-government provider of education and medical serv. in the world

Catholic belief holds that the Church "is the continuing presence of Jesus on earth"
and that it alone possesses the full means of salvation

The church, in fact, has built Western civilization”
(How the Catholic Church Built Western Civilization)
a book by Tom Woods explores the reasons why we are all,
as a civilization, deeply indebted to the Catholic Church.

It is inaccurate to imply that the Catholic Church is solely
responsible for building Western civilization. The influence
of English-speaking civilization, which had a distinct antipopish,
anti-Catholic identity, is responsible as much as if not
more than the Catholic Church. But Woods’s fundamental
point is correct. Catholic leadership and teaching has had
a decisive and far-reaching influence on Western religion,
politics, culture, science and education, often in ways most
people fail to recognize.

The Vatican has presided over the rise and fall of kings
and governments, the emergence of political and ideological
movements, and the discovery and colonization of new lands
and peoples.

The Catholic religion has influenced every facet of Western society, from art and music
to science to the measurement of time to the annual holidays we celebrate.

Its influence over Europe is even more extensive: It has shaped
Europe’s justice systems, its educational institutions, many of
its most prominent cities, its economies and even agriculture.

When it comes to religion, every Christian denomination—
except one—can directly or indirectly trace its lineage back to
Roman Catholicism.

The Roman Catholic Church is the most defining and influential
institution in Europe’s history—yet somehow it remains a total mystery!

“The [European] Community is living largely by the heritage of the Holy Roman Empire,
though the great majority of the people who liveby it don’t know by what heritage they live.”
—Otto von Habsburg--a descendant of that famous line of European royalty

Among historians, it is generally accepted that the HolyRoman Empire was
the cyclical reincarnation of the ancient Roman Empire, presided over in each
instance by the Catholic

Church. Oxford Dictionary defines it as the “empire set up in Western Europe following
the coronation of Charlemagne as emperor in the year 800. It was created by the medieval
papacy in an attempt to unite Christendom under one rule.”

The founders of the EU, and many European leaders today, readily acknowledge that the
supreme goal of the EuropeanUnion is to live “by the heritage of the Holy Roman Empire.”

European politicians regularly declare their admiration for Charlemagne and publicly admit
that they seek to create a united Europe that “embodies the tradition of Charlemagne.”

What is the “heritage of the Holy Roman Empire”? Who was Charlemagne?
What is the “tradition of Charlemagne”? Whos calander do we follow today?

Who Do We Reverence by Keeping Sunday Holy?

“I have repeatedly offered $1,000 to anyone who can prove to me from the Bible alone that I am bound
to keep Sunday holy. There is no such law in the Bible. It is a law of the holy Catholic Church alone.

The Bible says, ‘Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy.’ The Catholic Church says:
‘No. By my divine power I abolish the Sabbath day and command you to keep holy the
first day of the week.’

And lo! The entire civilized world bows down in a reverent obedience to the command of
the holy Catholic Church.”— father T. Enright, C.S.S.R. of the Redemptoral College, Kansas City,
in a lecture at Hartford, Kansas, February 18, 1884, printed in History of the Sabbath, p. 802.
.

“It was the Catholic church which…has transferred this rest to Sunday in remembrance of
the resurrection of our Lord. Therefore the observance of Sunday by the Protestants is
an homage they pay, in spite of themselves, to the authority of the (Catholic) church.”

So why did Satan give his power to the Catholic Church? Because he wanted to be like the most high
and wanted to be worshipped as God.What did the dragon do? He gave his power and seat and

great authority to the Roman Catholic Church
and had them change the Seventhday Sabbath to SUN-day.

Traditionally, Christians consider Sunday to be the sabbath. How that came about, I don't know, but I'm not about to deprive myself of the church experience just because they might be off by a day. None of us is perfect.
You can't be serious - how can you just follow a church regardless ? a day to us may be neither here nor there but don't you care what GOD has to say about it ? He sanctified and hallowed one day above any other making it 'holy time to Him !
If that does not spark some response in a person there can't be much life left in them...and a missed oportunity of being re-charged/re-generated.

Do you think it is a worse sin for people to keep Sunday as the Sabbath, or the sin of those who judge the people who keep Sunday as the Sabbath?

Or don't you think its a sin to judge people?

Sabbath keeping with all it's rules and regulations, was part of a covenant with Israel that is not applicable to Christians under the New Covenant. Even when Christians set out to worship on the Sabbath, they aren’t truly "keeping the Sabbath." To "keep the Sabbath" as it was required in the Old Testament would involve compliance with stringent regulations (Exodus 16:23; 35:3; Leviticus 23:32; Jeremiah 17:21) that were strictly enforced.

If Sabbath-day observances are still required, so would the burnt offerings which went along with them (Leviticus 19:30; 23:2-3; Numbers 28:1-10; 29:39-40; I Chronicles. 23:30-31; II Chronicles 31:2-4; Isaiah 1:13). These were commanded by God to the sons of Israel. If the seventh day Sabbath is still in affect, then why do not the Sabbatarians seek to obey ALL that the LORD commanded? How can a person say he keeps a certain law when he keeps only part of it?

If the Sabbath day laws were still in effect today, then according to Exodus 31:12-18; 35:1-3; and Numbers 15:32-36, anyone who profaned the Sabbath was put to death and any person who does any work on it, that person shall be cut off from his people. Who is going to enforce that? The Jewish synagogue? The Christian Church? The Seventh-day Adventist church? Or the State? Since we do not live under a theocratic state as ancient Israel did, no Sabbatarian can live consistently under the Mosaic regulations.

St. Paul said in Galatians 4:9-11: "...You observe days and months and seasons and years. I fear for you, that perhaps I have labored over you in vain."

In Romans 14:1-23, the Apostle Paul says: "... One man regards one day above another, another regards every day alike. Let each man be fully convinced in his own mind.." In other words, for the Christian, the Apostle is saying that no day is to be regarded holier than another.

Although the Torah was read every Saturday in the synagogues, the early Gentile Christians were never commanded to be circumcised, or to rest on Saturday as the Jews were (Acts 15:1-21).

Colossians 2:16 - Therefore no one is to act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day 17 things which are a mere shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ.

The early Christians began to worship God on Sunday (the Lord's Day), because the first day of the week became associated with Christ's resurrection (Matthew 28:1-10; Luke 24:1; John 20:1; Revelation 1:10). We see from Acts 20:7 and I Corinthians 16:1-3 that the early Church gathered together on the first day of every week in order to "break bread," and also to take up a "collection for the saints." Nowhere in the New Testament is the Church commanded to gather together to worship on the Jewish seventh day Sabbath. The Seventh-day Adventist Church teaches that the Roman Catholic Church originated Christian worship on Sunday.

History records that the early Christians were worshipping on Sunday as far back as the first and second centuries A.D. For example:

"But every Lord's Day, gather yourselves together, and break bread, and give thanksgiving after having confessed your transgressions, so that your sacrifice may be pure." (Didache c. 80-140)

"No longer observing the Sabbath, but living in the observance of the Lord's Day." (Ignatius, c. 105) Ignatius here reveals that the “Lord’s Day” is separate from the Jewish Sabbath.

"I will make a beginning of the eighth day, that is, a beginning of another world. For that reason, also, we keep the eighth day with joyfulness, the day also on which Jesus rose again from the dead." (Barnabas c. 70-130)

"And on the day called Sunday, all who live in cities or in the country gather together to one place, and the memoirs of the apostles or the writings of the prophets are read... But Sunday is the day on which we all hold our common assembly, because it is the first day on which God... made the world. And Jesus Christ our Savior rose from the dead on that same day." (Justin Martyr c. 160)

"There was no need of circumcision before Abraham. Nor was there need of the observance of Sabbaths, or of feasts and sacrifices, before Moses. Accordingly, there is no more need of them now." (Justin Martyr c. 160)

"We do not follow the Jews in their peculiarities in regard to food nor in their sacred days." (Tertullian c. 197)

"Just as the abolition of fleshly circumcision and of the old Law is demonstrated as having been consummated at its specific times, so also the observance of the Sabbath is demonstrated to have been temporary." (Tertullian c. 197)

"On the day of our Lord's resurrection, which is the Lord's Day, you should meet more diligently, sending praise to God who made the universe by Jesus... On this day, there is the reading of the Prophets, the preaching of the Gospel, the oblation of the sacrifice, and the gift of the holy food." (Apostolic Constitutions, compiled c.390)

So the actual Sabbath day according to the Jews is sundown on our Friday to sundown on our Saturday.

Sabbath keeping [with all it's rules and regulations], was part of a covenant with Israel that is not applicable to Christians under the New Covenant and the Sabbath day did not change from Saturday to Sunday.

Christians worship God on Sunday (the Lord's Day), because the first day of the week became associated with Christ's resurrection (Matthew 28:1-10; Luke 24:1; John 20:1; Revelation 1:10).

We are not to get hung up on the Sabbath day, which is a shadow of things to come, but the substance belongs to Christ (Colossians 2:16-17).

Simple - Paul was preaching to the Jews who meet on the Sabbath in their synagogues because of their adherence to the law of Moses. ( there were some proselyte Gentiles in all congregations )

That's the reason why he met with them on the Sabbath. They were all in one place at one time like good religious Jews.

Paul went to where they were meeting just like today one can go to a Mosque to preach to muslims because they meet there. Paul went to synagogues to preach Christ until the Jews rejected him and when do all the Jews meet to get together?

Did you notice in Acts 13 where the Jews judged themselves unworthy of eternal life through Christ - that Paul then started going to the Gentiles exclusively in that city after that? Then he met with them all the time. He always tried to keep the Jews in mind when he went to a new city and he would go to them first.

Don't exchange Christ Himself for a law of Moses. You are breaking the very 1 st commandment in the very Law of Moses that you are trying to get others to follow.

Our worship is NOT a substitute for Keeping the Sabbath, IT IS AN ACT OF LOVE FOR JESUS CHRIST.[/QUO

Some people call sunday Sabbath, never said who. So whoever the we is, i'm glad you are worshiping, who am i to judge Gods servants?
[SUP]4 [/SUP]Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. Romans 14:4-5

Was only pointing out that the whole world has same day as Sabbath (7th day on calendar).

I would argue the order of the week with you were I so blind as to not see that God ordered the days of creation and rest for us. I agree with you totally that the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord, not because you say it, but because God says it to you and to me.

As for what day a person goes to church service, this can be every day of the week. I love the Seventh Day because God, Himself, gave it to all who will receive it as a special day to be with Him.........Since the break-up of the Israel of this age, that its the theocracey headed by God, there is no possible manner to observe it according to the law, and I suppose God arranged this on purpose. Just know Jesus Christ is Lord and our only Salvation, keep the Sabbath as you are led to do, but do not allow your differing understanding to come betwen you and brethren who are partly deceived for the time bing......this is all part of the apostasy, an God promises to call His children out of the Great Harlot, and I suppose also out of her many daughters.

_Surely Jesus is returning soon, amen.

Hi, I am trying to keep God's Holy day in the correct way, I do not go to a church because there are only two churches in the village in which I live and although I have been asked to join one of them, they do not keep God's Holy day on a Saturday.

I wondered if any one else have the same problem, and if so what you do.

Jesus said all the law and the prophets were fulfilled in the greatest commandment.

In the New Testament epistles there are only two references to the Sabbath (Col.2:16; Heb.4:4). Paul explains that this day is not a required day to be observed by Christians. The Hebrews in the Old Covenant were under an obligation that no longer applies to New Covenant Jews or Gentiles. There is no command after the death and resurrection of Jesus for the Church to keep the Sabbath as an obligation to Christ. As with much else in the older covenants, the Sabbath is a foreshadowing of the rest we find in Christ.

Here is an interesting page on the matter:
Early Christians always met on the First day (Sunday) and never kept the sabbath!
I think you are overlooking the fact that Jesus Himself and consequently His Disciples were Sabbath-keepers ! What people did after them (they were all killed except John) is mainly based on 'ungodly men who crept in un-awares to deceive and destroy what Jesus and His disciples had started !!!
That deception was easily accepted since the natural carnal man has no stomach for obedience or God's law Rom8v7, which is all too obvious in 'Christians today.

That's pretty convoluted. All had not been fulfilled yet. After it was fulfilled is when it was no longer required.

It became a spiritual reality and no longer a carnal commandment along with the rest of the law after the Lord Jesus Christ fulfilled it. Galatians 3:24-25

Do you think it is a worse sin for people to keep Sunday as the Sabbath, or the sin of those who judge the people who keep Sunday as the Sabbath?

Or don't you think its a sin to judge people?
Basically it is the Word of God judging us ! If you can show me a scripture that makes sunday holy time to assemble I will accept it. Just people making their own rules will get them nowhere in the end. You seem to expect me to go along with them rather than they be changed ...why is that ?

Exactly. That is called following a carnal commandment.

Galatians 3:10-12
[FONT=&quot]10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.[/FONT]
