1) Where in the Scriptures does it say that the new covenant places the old? I state this respectfully, you are giving an opinion and you are not sure about it because according to Psalm 89:34 God clearly states the following... "my covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips." In other words, God couldn't have replace the old covenant with a new covenant, right? Also, keep this in mind, the old covenant had nothing to do with making a man God's righteousness.

2nd Corinthians 3... What was written in stone was glorious, Yes or No? If Yes, what exceed it now? What makes them done away with?

Galatians 3... Please elaborate you view on this verse.
God didn't break the old covenant. Men did.

God didn't alter the thing that is gone out of His Lips.

He made a New Way for men to do the things that went out from His Lips.

So yes, ABSOLUTELY, God replaced the old covenant with the New Covenant.

What was written on stone was the Ministration of Death.

What we have now is Life in Christ Jesus.

Does having Life do away with death? Yes, pretty much. So the ministration of death is only done away in Christ. Because what we have in Christ is much better than what the ministration of death could give us.

SDS, You have 2 errors on your website, on the 'Creed' page.
Also, how do you reconcile believing OSAS with the example of David, Samson, Solomon? According to your reckoning, surely these men would have been eventually, eternally lost?

If the Scriptures carefully what Jeremiah said, God will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, not like the one that he did with their fathers. How did he do it with their fathers? On tablets of stones. How would he do it with the house of Israel and the house of Judah? He will store them in their minds and write them in their hearts which the Scriptures confirms, not to mention, that is what makes it more glorious the when it was written in tablets of stones and they were glorious on stones.

Read Jeremiah 31, you will see that Jeremiah the above.

His judgement will be against those who trample Christ under foot, not whether a person engages in communion worships on a specific day.
So you put your trust in a day, I will put mine in Christ and we shall see.
Good day.

Pun definitely intended.

Yes. That's the New Covenant. That is what we have in Christ.

Galatians 3:14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

I am not talking about trusting, I am talking about judgement that believers will be judge as well, nothing to do with eternal condemnation. So, tell me, if believers will be judge, what they will be judge for? We know that we as believers are saved by grace alone through faith apart from the law.

-------------------
The new covenant is made with the house of Israel and the house of Judah, not with the Gentiles. One more thing, when a Gentile becomes a believer he becomes of of the commonwealth of Israel that is because the blessing of Abraham came to the Gentiles through Yeshua, but the fact is that the new covenant came to both houses much better then their fathers receive and that is because now they are stored in the minds and written in the hearts.

And what I meant to say earlier, was, how do you reconcile not believing Once Saved Always Saved, with the examples of such as Samson, David and Solomon?

By how they loved the Lord God with all their heart, and loved their neighbors as themselves.
Not by what day they did those things.

First, let talk about when did this false doctrine of once saved always saved come out? It was came out in the 1500's, but no where in the Scriptures does it teach this false doctrine, but what the Scriptures tell us is that man can betray their faith.

Men like David and Solomon and Samson did that which was right in the sight of God, they were obedient to the word of God and though they sinned against God they repented. As you know the Psalms tell us where David's heart was at, God told Solomon I will be a Father unto you and you will be my son (sounds familiar?) and he also said (referring to Solomon), my mercy will never depart from him. This has nothing to do with the false doctrine of once saved always saved. Is that what you believe?

I hope I understood your question correctly.

Yeshua said unto the teacher of the law, how readest thou the law? He gave the two commandments you just mentioned, meaning those two commandment fulfills the whole law and Yeshua confirmed what he said.
