We are all given a measure of faith by God, after all He says explicitly, “we have no excuse.”
No, a measure of faith is not that which is given, instead, the ability to measure - to assess - the faith(fulness) of Christ is given to those saved.

Saving grace is that tiny amount that we apply. One man hears the Gospel and says, “I hear what you say and I understand and believe it.’ Another says, “I hear and understand your Gospel, but do not believe it.”
No one, until given spiritual life by the Holy Ghost can truly hear and see spiritually. They may think that they do, but they do not.

[2Co 4:4 KJV]
4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

t is when the Holy Sprit takes that minute initial faith and appies it to our soul, that we are quickened/
Faith only comes from/by the Holy Spirit upon becoming born-again.

[Gal 5:22 KJV] 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

That is the difference, and why throughout the OT and NT we are told to believe and choose.
yes, a lot of commands were given throughout the Bible, but because the god of this world has blinded the minds of those
who believe not, they are unable to grasp and respond to them appropriately.

This is a scripture pretzel, and unsalted at that.

You have given the normal reaction, to a scripture statement, when a person does not have a scripture that denies the statement.

It is much easier to mimic the evidence then to show faith, since "faith is the evidence of things not seen."
I would agree with you. Those saved demonstrate certain attributes which confirm they have been saved. However, the
reverse is not true - that demonstrating those attributes is what makes them saved. God must do the saving, we cannot -
that is why He alone has the title of Saviour.

I see the scripture clearly, its straightforward, but I'm not to linger on stumbling blocks.

The Comforter was not yet given to them from whom is faith received in full measure.
All the more... Why would Christ have rebuked them for something He knew they did not possess?

[Jhn 15:26-27 KJV]
26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, [even] the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
27 And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.
I don't believe that there are contradictions in the scriptures. What are you going to do with Isaiah 63:11?

You are not taking into consideration, 1 Cor 2:14, that the natural man, before he has been quickened to the new spiritual life (Eph 2"1) cannot discern the things of the Spirit.

You must ignore much Scripture to reach your conclusion.

God gives life to whom will come. It is God's will that all should come. The decision is up to us. He wills that all would call upon His name today.
It would be interesting as to how you would interpret 1 Cor 2:14.

I also Praise God and give Him the Glory for creating me to have the ability to choose to Submit to Him.

Can you explain to me how the natural man, (1 Cor 2:14), before God quickens him to the new spiritual life, (Eph 2:1) when he was spiritually dead, can respond to anything of a spiritual nature?

Because beyond the spiritual man, the natural man has the ability in their genetic codes to communicate with God in their mind wavelengths.

The Subconscious of the active mind is where we hear that small still Voice.

We are hearing God from day one. Only some will actually hear and submit to God.

It would be interesting as to how you would interpret 1 Cor 2:14.
Let's look at it (within its context, of course.)
1 Cor 2
13Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
15But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
16For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

It appears that when a man is born again, he gains the mind of Christ. That makes perfect sense. He gains the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, which brings peace and understanding. This can only happen when a man calls upon the name of the Lord to be saved. One obvious does not have, nor does he need, the mind of Christ in order to call upon the name of the Lord. The mind of Christ follows after, not before.

I don't believe that there are contradictions in the scriptures. What are you going to do with Isaiah 63:11?
I don't believe there are contradictions either.
Once Christ came in the flesh, while with them in human form, He was that same Holy Spirit; that is, the Holy Spirit was manifested in the form of Christ so to speak. It was not until after Christ's sacrifice had completed that He sent the Holy Spirit to spiritually indwell the elect at their becoming born-again.
The verses I quoted to you came from the Bible, not from me. What do you think they mean when they say that Christ (God), would send the Comforter unto them? Please observe that in verse 14:16, Christ said He would send ANOTHER COMFORTER to them, meaning that, in being God, and in addition to being the Christ, He at that same time was also the Comforter. Also please observe that in verses 14:26, 15:26 and 16:7, we are informed that He "WILL SEND" (future tense), which, because He remained to be sent in spiritual form, that Christ at that time already was the Holy Spirit with them. Also, please observe that in 14:18 Christ again tells us that He is the Comforter because He said that "I will come to you".

[Jhn 14:16,18, 26 KJV]
16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; ...
26 But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
[Jhn 15:26 KJV]
26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, [even] the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
[Jhn 16:7 KJV]
7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

Yes, the Calvinist doctrine is from the pit of hell. I have seen many young lives ruined through this evil.
Almost lost my own child to this lie, only God gave me His word in my mouth to the rescue.
Still the devil tries to shut our mouths.
Just keep in mind the Arminian/Pelagian gospel is in alignment with Islam, JW’s, Mormonism, Hinduism, Luciferianism etc. they all claim man has some level of ability, of his own will and power, to be right with “God/Gods”.

The gospel of grace made popular by the reformers is the only one that claims salvation is entirely of the Lord.

No!! Flat out no!! The Bible teaches Christ came to save ALL. His blood is sufficient to save ALL. The WHOLE WORLD, just as it says. There are endless Scriptures to back that up. You don't need anyone to read the Word for you, it's there for you to read and understand. You don't need Calvin or anyone else to tell you what "WHOSOEVER WILL" means!! And that IS NOT in line with Islam!! It's directly from the WORD!! Nothing added, nothing taken away. Christ shed His blood for ALL, that's what the Word says, that's what it means. Period, end of story. Never heard such heresy as this before and I don't say that lightly. You're making God to be a liar, to say God only loves certain people and leaves the rest to die and struggle in sin. No, 1000 times no! God is able to save anyone, His arm is not shortened and He can save anyone who calls on His name. I don't care what men said/say or believe, I care what the Word says. Calvin did not write the Word, and apparently he never read it! smh
