I am sarcastic all the time but in a playful way not a mean way
Then you are not targeted by this post, Blaine. However, i hope that by experiencing this thread it will cause you to meditate upon worthy speech. It is plain to see by the softness of your reply that you are not struck by this post, and do not seem to be a harsh person. Please note those who have reacted quite nastily to it- and refer to their history in posting, as it will show a pattern of crude and un-Christlike manner of speech- a lesson in how not to act.

Bible Doctrine states we should do all things with love. Most notably speak.

. It is plain to see that many here have a huge problem with being adressed in a straightforward manner, with respect. It is also known as ADMONISHMENT. I feel sorry for the pastor who you usurp and ridicule when he tries to guide you to walking a Christlike walk.

Humility defined, IMO, is taking all things in subjection, from all men, and testing the spirit, then, being slow to speak, expose or support it with scripture. Take a page from Jesus' book- and humble yourselves. You have a HUGE problem with the way you speak to people and you need to check your attitudes at the altar. How can you approach the Lord and bring anything to him of value with the hearts you hold? Dont you know the heart is revealed by the mouth? You have blackness and sin within your heart, hatred and animosity have usurped God upon the thrones of your hearts. Repent! Show fruit of the Spirit! Love! Peace! Comfort! Joy! REPENT YOU WICKED TONGUED DEVILS!!

Nothing about this thread was meant to be sarcastic- it was meant to wholly call attention to the manner in which several of you "CC Clique" members react to those who think that ceasing from sin is heretical, or have a different opinion! New members, WHO ARE CHRISTIANS- are full out ridiculed and assaulted by you if they come here and are not yet learned or share differing opinion. I find it disgusting that members here would try and use scripture to defend an ugly problem they have! I am remorseful that i have to speak like this- i would rather speak in love and praise...but i cannot due to your insolence and sickness of heart.

Yet for all of this they would not repent.

In love i ask you to consider your ways before the Lord. Consider the heart that you speak to. Consider the records in heaven that record every last word you speak- as well as the intent of the heart. THE INTENT OF YOUR WORDS WILL CAUSE YOU TO BE SENT TO HELL. Repent.

In the name of Jesus i beg you. Amen.

I completely agree that God is Love. Let the words of my mouth and meditation of my heart be acceptable in THY sight my Lord my strength and my redeemer.
That to say.....your post did not come across in love at all. You have no place of authority to stay what someone says or means is wrong in God's eyes. Again in the past two days ill post this on repeat, if you dont like what you see posted, log off, or click off a thread. If it's directed at you, then pm privately, but posting this preachy post about sarcasm being wrong is just as wrong as what you call the use of words that you dont know where the meaning is coming from.
My words and my heart are to be acceptable in God's sight, not servants.
Note: this post is typed with all kinds of love in my sweet southern voice.

The word of God is the final authority in all things. If anything you say or do is contrary to the Word of God, you are in error. As worthy men and women of God, we are to hold ourselves and those who profess Christianship, to a high standard reflective of the model of Christ. We are to be holy. We are to speak pure and loving words. Please repent of stiffneckedness and rebellion, as i most assuredly have the authority to hold your actions in comparison to the word of God and judge your character. You do lack wisdom and knowledge, as your actions are discerned by the Spiritual Gift of Discernment as wicked and rebellious. I adjure you in the name of Christ, to make sure your election and calling are pure in conscience, make sure your words are acceptable in HIS SIGHT, lest ye be found wanting and naked upon his soon coming.

  • Lk:12:57: Yea, and why even of yourselves judge ye not what is right?

  • Jn:5:30: I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

  • Jn:7:24: Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

  • Jn:8:15: Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man.16: And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.

  • Jn:8:26: I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him.

  • Acts:16:15: And when she was baptized, and her household, she besought us, saying, If ye have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house, and abide there. And she constrained us.

  • 1Cor:2:15: But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. .

  • 1Cor:5:3: For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,

  • 1Cor:6:2: Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

  • 1Cor:6:3: Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him. Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the Lord. (Leviticus 19:17-18)

Just because a fellow Christian sees a fault that can be backed up with scripture doesn't make that person a judge above God's word. If the correction is sincere, and the one being corrected is like minded, then edification happens.

But if one is just making short comments without explanation, debunking with ridicule without the desire to edify via God's word, then love isn't in the mix, even though the accuser says that love is the fulfilling of the law, and they are loving according to the commandment.

Usually (because the instructions to exact agape love are neglected) this is what happens because of ignorance. I don't use that word ignorance as an indication of stupid, I use it as a word describing one who is unlearned. Why are we so adamant to reject the instructions of love that God has described in Leviticus chapter 19? Is it actually a doctrine taught that these instructions are opposed to grace? Is administering God's grace to each other really supposed to make void by faith the instructions on how to love? That's what others have tried to tell me in CC. I cannot comprehend this "oxymoron."

If you present false doctrine, you can expect it to be named and addressed in this forum.

Which does not preclude one from believing and asserting the same doctrine.
If you're going to name, at least get the name right! If you don't, I'm going to constantly refer to you as the Name-it-and-claim-it crowd, simply because you just said you named him. Equally as preposterous, and yet, why not, since that's what you've been doing?

If the name doesn't fit, then quit trying to shove it down someone's throat. Sometimes people don't have beliefs that ft into any particular shoe box. Get used to it, or get used to being called on your NIACI heresy.

Good to know. You understand the definition of "humility" as well as you understand how admonishment works, and as well as you understand what sends people to hell. You've got all wrong.

I hope you're pastor can get through to you some day, Son.

You got the right quotes. You pulled them out of a wider context and you are just too young to understand what they mean and how to apply them. And, I'm not calling 30 something year olds too young. I'm calling you, specifically, to young. You went about covering this like a first grader expecting university students to learn from him.

Don't lay that on God. That's you! That's your sin. Would you get off your "I-speak-for-God" high horse and start thinking over those verses in context? They really mean something and you didn't apply one of them to this debacle.

There's a structure to rebuking and admonishing that you obviously have no knowledge of. There is structure for who does it and how that you obviously have no knowledge of. Acting like a pouting, self-righteous child isn't covered under the structure. Had you been busier studying the Bible then lurking on this site thinking you're above it all, you would know this.

Now the only question is when your ears will hear. If I were your mom, I'd ground you in your room and expect a two-page paper form your studies of Matt. 18:10-35 a 1 Cor. 56, so you would learn better.

Keeping in mind the same Paul did not sit loosely to false doctrine.

He found his speech (Gal 5:12) consistent with all his exhortations to love.

Please show how Paul's strong rejection of the Judaizing false gospel (Gal 1:6-9, 5:12) fits into your understanding of "administering God's grace" which you state here.

There's a disconnect in your understanding of God's NT word.

Note that I did not name him, I named doctrine.

The notion that NT Christianity is based on Origen, Marcion and Tertullian rather than the NT writings is just plain ridicule-ous.

I repeat: it is an embarrassingly-obvious attempt to discredit the NT word of God itself in favor of a Judaized Christianity, and that is the chief objective of the HRM, no matter how much swelling of hurt feelings about it anyone enjoys.
