take a deep breath in and release it!

you just spoke the Name of YHWH!

it's the Very life within your being!

the Creator of ALL things!
every time we breathe we speak the Name YHWH who is Yeshua!

where's the Creed for that?

because Truth is beyond Creeds is why there is no creed for that!

That was the name of the messenger before His incarnation.

I only confess 'JESUS' now.

Iesous is not the complete actual name!

the Greek alphabet has no letter for SH!

so they could not translate Yeshua!

When Yeshua is translated into Greek, which the New Testament is derived from, it becomes Iēsous, which in English spelling is "Jesus."

But we all disagree with each other as to the meaning of Scripture, the Old and New Testament. Whose interpretation of Scripture is authoritative?
This is why we need the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation. The Bible is a spiritual book for spiritual people. Truth is objective, but often people are subjective. Interpretation is based on our preconceived notions and lived experience. This is the reason why our minds must be renewed.

Another issue is the excessive importance people put on being right. It's vastly overrated. There are some teachings that are not open to debate. There are many that are open to interpretation. It is fine to have opinions, not so much to use knowledge as a club to beat up other Christians. We should be able to maintain fellowship while not agreeing.

An example may help. I went to an Anglican meeting recently. There was a baby sprinkling, aka baptism. I don't agree with any of it. However, the pastor loves people, loves Jesus and preaches a good word. So I say nothing about what we do not agree on. Now if someone was to say that you can't be saved unless you were sprinkled, I would challenge that statement.

Baby sprinklers have a theological basis for their belief. They read the same Bible and come up with a different doctrine. What matters is unity of the Spirit, not 100% doctrinal agreement.

i don't need to read someone's thoughts when all i have to do is watch the life of those
claiming to be Follower's of Christ. if they aren't leading anyone to Christ they are not of God!
if they choose to instruct me i should follow doctrines of man and claim
they are a Follower of Christ, then there should be some PROOF!

you can't beat people on the head and demand we follow this and that and you have never once in your walk
in God led a single soul to the Kingdom of God. what that makes such a person is a first class Hypocrite!
I planted the seed and Apollos watered it, but God made it grow. So neither he who plants
nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. He who plants and
he who waters are one in purpose, and each will be rewarded according to his own labor.

which is more important, planting God's Holy Word or Creeds?

most people don't read a Bible but will read Creeds. who has the advantage, those who read God's Word or those who read man's Creeds?

Most people who say they believe in a creed or doctrine checked and made sure it was sound Biblically before adopting it as their own.

Your being an accuser of the brethren. (Not a good look)

1 Corinthians 3:6-8 refutes what you said.

Many prayed for my salvation for years before it happened.

According to you, none of them were of God but the last one who led me the final steps :censored:

What Systematic Theologies are best to read?
I don't bother with ANY of them in detail. They're only "Theology" after all. All God's Chilluns gots "Theologies". Better to read the Bible, and ask the Holy Spirit for illumination/wisdom.

According to your Paradigm about what Jesus "Should have" done, of course.
we have what Jesus wanted done.

19 Go, make disciples of all nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

20 teaching them to observe all things whatever I commanded you.

Which promise to Abraham?
i was discussing creeds. i totally missed your subtle post.

6 I planted, Apollos watered, but God made to grow:

7 so, then, neither is he that plants anything, nor he that waters, but he that makes to grow, who is God.

8 Now, he that plants and he that waters are one, but each shall receive his own reward according to his own labor.

i don't know what this has to do with Creeds?

Bart Denton Ehrman[a] (born 1955) is an American New Testament scholar focusing on textual criticism of the New Testament, the historical Jesus, and the origins and development of early Christianity. He has written and edited 30 books, including three college textbooks. He has also authored six New York Times bestsellers. He is the James A. Gray Distinguished Professor of Religious Studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
I see. Secular scrap.
Thats why tradition matters. Actual Christian scholars who have a goal of teaching the faith are plenty.

I do not recognize the Roman Church as the Roman Catholic Church during the third or even during the fourth century.

The Nicene Creed is early in the fourth century (325 AD) and the Bishops from many churches attended. Constantine asked the church to explain it's doctrines. The deity of the Christ was included as a major point.
Because the Roman church didnt become what we see it as today didnt start until after the Frankish King Pepin freed the now Italian peninsula from the Lumbards and gave the bishop of Rome Land and title. (In the late 700s I think). That was the beginning of a long slow decent for the Romanists via popery . the history of the Roman church is a whole other subject.

Magenta,

i reread all of the posts we quoted one another.

if you are saying that Creeds plant a seed for non-believers, i do agree.

so help me out here, if you would since i've never been to a Church who displays Creeds.

are they on the wall when you enter into a Church building?

if so, then if people read that and only listen to the preacher but never read the Bible...then thank God for that much!
