Same old song and dance. What about His presence? What about in the holy place? You don't know, do you?

And I still need to see the scriptural reference for your doctrine about demons.
I took the time and went through this whole thing before and gave the scriptures and everything and you just blew it off. You said exactly the same thing the time before. I won't go through again with you. You are just being difficult and a trouble-maker. That's why people have had enough of you and expose your falsehoods and you dismiss it as some kind of persecution. That makes you a very untrustworthy person when it comes to the things of God. You want to play games, do it with your kids.

Not once did you show scripture that shows a demon cannot inhabit a christian. I am not playing games, and I hoped that you were mature enough to answer a serious question put to you in honest inquiry. Instead, you again attack my integrity.

My kids are all grown, so I don't play games with them.

I ask questions. You say that the bible is your ultimate authority, and that all doctrines come from scripture. Oddly enough, I agree with all doctrine having come from scripture, but only by the revelation of the Holy Spirit. When this issue came up, and E-G became so adamant about this issue, I tried to recall where this doctrine is stated in scripture. And truthfully, I could not see it. I know about the passage in Matthew, but I don't see this as being a conclusive scripture that supports the impossibility of a christian having a demon.

And so, I asked in honest wonder, and you accuse me of playing games. Just where is the honesty?

I was not sure if he was seriously asking. If so, then he will say so and I will answer.

But I do not have time to answer mockers and scoffers.

There are many things in scripture that have not been heard yet. We do not know as we are known.

I suppose that you know all that there is to know about God, because you have studied the bible.

question.

Can you name something other than personal experience which we need to know about God which is not contained in scripture?

Why would you need something other than a personal relationship with Him?

I consider scripture and salvation and life and every other thing to be about and for the purpose of coming into that relationship with God. As Paul wrote, God was in Christ Jesus reconciling the creation to Himself.

Well then what your saying is Scripture does tell us everything we need to know about him. Since you can't think of anything.

I can read a book about someone. And know everything about them. This is not the same as relating. Relating makes the words come alive. and prove the book was right.

it is no different from God. The more I get to know him. The more i know his word in his book are from him.

The funny thing is. If I did not have hi book. I would not be able to relate. for I would not know who he was, what hw was, what he did for me. or anything else about him.

The bible is not a book.

If we could understand and know everything about God by reading the bible, then there is no need for the Holy Spirit.

Which some truly believe, to their destruction.

Its not? Thats funny. what the heck is it than a collection of books written by men through inspiration of God? If God calls it a book (logos) I think I will also.

The HS Helps us understand the words in the bible. God did not spend 2000 years writing his word just to have people like you say it is not valid anymore. or to waste his time and say we do not need to read it.

It will be to your destruction that you have rejected his word. for his word is life. without his word you can not have life. And his word is scripture! You would not know who he was without scripture. if you think you can. You are wrong. Even Paul stated that Timothy got his knowledge which allowed him to be saved from Scripture. Do I trut Paul or you? I think we both know the answer to that.

so what do we have?

1. You state we can know more than is written in scripture. Yet you can not provide one thing which we can know without scripture when asked.
2. You state scripture is a waste of time, because we have the HS
3. The above two things contradict each other.

so I will ask again. Tell me something about God which we are not told in scripture.

I never said that scripture is not valid anymore.

If that is all that you get from what I say, then you are deaf and there is no sense in talking to you anymore.

We can know the love of God, and while we are told about His love, we cannot know His love unless we draw near to Him.

We can know the light of God, and while we are told about His light, in scripture, we cannot have His light unless we come to Him.

We can know His life, the resurrection life of Jesus Christ, as our own. And while we can know about His life, we cannot have His life without the Holy Spirit.

Never mind about the new thread, I can see that you ask questions not to know, but to show how you know more than others, and how they are wrong, if they do not agree with you.

lol. dude you keep twisting and turning every time you speak.

You just said the bible is not a book. otherwise we would not need the holy spirit. so how the heck else would I take what you said other than the bible is not valid!

make up your mind.

are you going to answer? Can you name something that can not be found in scripture we need to know about God? Your the one who says there is more we need to know. Prove what you said is true.

Or are you going to be like Jonathon Christian and run from the hard questions?

That i say that the bible is not a book, means that it is scripture, words that are written and inspired by God. I do not consider the bible to be a book, but something more than a book.

You are just looking for things to criticize.

I said if I did not have the book (the Bible) I could not know God. You said it is not a book. That was your answer! So prove it. prove I can know somethign about God not found in scripture.

you keep going in circles. why? are you afraid to answer?
