In short, I have pointed out that the the fulfillment of the Day of Atonement must have been done in full in the sacrificial death of Christ at the cross and His ascension into heaven. This supposed move from the Holy to the Most Holy place, and that in 1844(?) would be in conflict with such scriptures as Rom.5:11 for example. It is a teaching unique for the SDAs.
Honestly, all of us need to read what the Spirit sayeth in Revelation.

Example:
Be Faithful unto death and the crown of life given
He that overcome will get to eat from the Tree of life.
Him that overcome gets the hidden manna.
The word works is used often so for those with the one off moment theology be prepared for some Truth.
The word Repent is used...
Believe to the saving of your soul.

The atonement was done at the cross. But the day of atonement is not the same thing.
the Day of Atonement involves a number of things, The aim of it is to bring Gods people and God together ultimately face to face.
So the atonement for sin was made at the cross and is to this day available though Christ our high priest who still ministers His blood.
But Atonement involves more than that, it involves a removing of sinners who refuse to accept the atonement of Christ. Not until this is done can Gods people be with God.
This means that everyone has to make a choice to either accept the good news of the atonement of Christ or reject. Then Jesus can come and the people will be with their God.
You are right it is unique to SDA's. But it is not what you seem to think it is.

"With such confusion as this to represent Christianity, it is no wonder that the heathen get a degraded
idea of God, as evinced in the reply of the Chinaman to the Jew, who was reviling his nationality. Thinking
to retort upon him as severely as possible -he replied: Ah I me know you ; you kill the Melican man's God." How much better it would be to accept the doctrine of the distinct individuality and -personality of the Father and the Son, confessing them " one" in heart, mind and purpose, and thus avoid the jargon of confusion always attendant upon erroneous doctrine. Another error, even more generally endorsed than any of the foregoing, is the doctrine of the atonement on the cross. This also furnishes another support for
