Re: Should "Sabbath keepers" discuss/debate keeping Sabbath online on the Sabbath?

Galatians 4:9-11 But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage? Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years. I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.

Galatians 2:4-5 And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage: to whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.
He is rebuking for trying to be saved by keeping the law how the pharisee were imposing and not keeping the law how Christ left as example.

Re: Should "Sabbath keepers" discuss/debate keeping Sabbath online on the Sabbath?

What really is trully hilarious to me, thee continuation of new threads about sabbath every week or every two days. Please forgive those brothers and sister robo from taking up alot of hdd space on your system at cc, Now exactly how can someone break sabbath while Walk in the Spirit as Galatians 5 explains ?

I do not belive its possible to know Christ unless one knows/encounter the Schoolmaster. One has to actknowledge what sin is.

Galatians 3:24-25 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.

Are we the Church or are we fight among one another, Where is the unity in the Body ?

There are those brother and sister in Christ that are able to have no work on sabbath, they are free to assembly and worship God.

Then there are those brother and sister in Christ that have to work on sabbath, and the only time they are given a chance for assembling of ourselves together in Christ sometimes falls on sabbath, First day, or Fourth Day of the week. According to there work schedule, not everyone is given the privileges to have sabbath day off in real world situation.

Jesus Christ our Lord and savior once said.

Matthew 12:12 How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.

A Born again Christian Walking in the Spirit can actknowledge this with ease.

God knows the situation of everyone that belongs to Him. God knowing this what did he prescribe to those under the new covenant.

Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

So God that Created the Heaven and the earth and everything in it , How does God Judge a man accordingly to the fourth commandment.

Galatian 3:11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

So exactly how can a beliver break the sabbath walking in the spirit ? Does God not hear there prayers on a First day, or Fourth day ? He knows the situation of everyone on Earth.

Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

God bless you all , and i hope and pray in Jesus Christ mighty name .Everyone will agree that it is by Faith not Law you are Justified in the sight of God.

Re: Should "Sabbath keepers" discuss/debate keeping Sabbath online on the Sabbath?

Scuba was talking about Saturday Sabbath vs. Sunday Sabbath, aka the Lords day.

Its not talking about general worship on Sunday.
That is a pretty loose interpretation.

Are you saying that your server at Chili's is your slave and is under your ownership and direction?
Because that is what that passage is referring to, not my server at Applebee's.
Could you please list the Sabbath instructions found in the Word so we can all be aware of what the rules are?

Thanks in advance.
Please disregard my posts as I don't want to have anything to do with this thread anymore.
It's a complete waste of time for both sides, and it is doing far more harm than good on both sides, and for the Body of Messiah as a whole.

Peace,
Matt

Re: Should "Sabbath keepers" discuss/debate keeping Sabbath online on the Sabbath?

Church or sabbath is to hear the word, it is also rest for your soul, or a refreshing. Guidence, ect. Although there are people i know
who do the fri thru sat thing at home and fellowship with one another and do the holidays and stuff. But the HRM never seems
to have a clear understanding on what to do from what i have seen. Faith comes by hearing, hearing by a preacher, the preacher sent by God.

1Cor1:21 …20Where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? 21For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not come to know God, God was well-pleased through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe. 22For indeed Jews ask for signs and Greeks search for wisdom;…

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
1Cor1:18

So why would we separate ourselves from preaching and hearing the word?

Re: Should "Sabbath keepers" discuss/debate keeping Sabbath online on the Sabbath?

But i am trully curious about my brothers and sisters in Christ.

Are there any out there that will Judge a man on certain days, while he worship The Lord or while Belivers assemble together on diffrent days in His name to praise Him?

I thought God was the Judge.

Apparently you missed this thread vic. There are a whole bunch of people that judge us worshiping on days other than saturday.

Re: Should "Sabbath keepers" discuss/debate keeping Sabbath online on the Sabbath?

I see many posts/threads about keeping the true Friday evening/Saturday Sabbath. I also noticed many who advocate for observing the Sabbath, do a lot of arguing/debating/discussing of the Sabbath, on the Sabbath.

This observation leads me to a question.

Should "Sabbath keepers" be online arguing/debating/discussing/etc. the Sabbath, on the Sabbath?

I mean if they spend six days a week making multiple posts on this topic, is it necessary to keep at it on the day of rest too? There are plenty of their posts already on the forums. Which means there would be plenty of content already present arguing FOR Sabbath observance. Which means arguing for the Sabbath on the Sabbath isn't necessary work.

I have always thought true Sabbath observance meant doing as little work as needed. If there are already hundreds or thousands of posts on the forums already, then it's not necessary to do the work of advocating for the observance of the Sabbath on the Sabbath. At least in a message board/forum/chat context. Sabbath advocate posts float in the active stream even if they miss a day, making advocating for the Sabbath, on the Sabbath a non-necessity.

Right? Wrong?
Carefully note, you may search my posts from the very beginning and you will not find a single one on the Sabbath day.

Ok folks I had a few free days to engage topics in the forums more. Now I don't.
If you want to continue this discussion, feel free to do it in a group I just created right now.
Link--->http://christianchat.com/group.php?groupid=479

This group is for those who would like to engage in the discussion of whether or not Christians should keep the seventh day Sabbath.

Yes this topic is still allowed in the forums, just thought a chat group would be a good place for those who might want to discuss this in excess.
