Was there any instruction from God not to pick some wheat to eat on any particular day?
or not to worship on a particular day?

((or on this mountain or some other?))

All the Levites (the employed ones) broke the 4th commandment on a regular basis.

not in those particular words, no. The children of Israel were told not to gather manna on Shabbat. We are commanded not to work on Shabbat. What is your point?

no, they did not. He said it is LEGAL to do good on the Sabbath. Did you notice the words He chose. He did not say, "I abolish the Sabbath". He said, it is legal to do good on the Sabbath.

if we lived in first century Israel, there would be no strife about the 4th commandment. This was automatic. It should not be a debate now. It is a commandment. Not for salvation, not so you can be better than your neighbor. It is simply a commandment from God. Think about it. God has His own holy days. The church was duped into changing all of them. Impressive adversary we have.

I like to think I would. Why fear those that can destroy the body? We need to get serious about following the Messiah.

You have to think about the word "holy". God made one specific day holy. The Sabbath is the only day He gave a name. People will say, "oh I worship God every day". Well that sounds nice, but it kinda blows the concept of making the 7th day holy. It is separate, different. I have been observing the Sabbath for over 3 years now. It is a delight!!!

so I guess you would not have wanted to be a Jew in Egypt either

you aren't Jewish and don't have a clue what it means to be one

however, take heart, God still says that He chooses the non-Jew too

you don't have to try so hard

I should tell you in all fairness, because the hints I have dropped have largely gone ignored, that the more noise you are making, the more noise you are making

I'm glad you have a hobby that you enjoy so much

I'm delighted you're delighted. And I'm delighted I don't have to follow the letter.

who also makes us adequate [as] servants of a new covenant, not of the letter, but of the Spirit, for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. 2 Corinthians 3:6

Okay, so the Spirit gives life. Excellent! Then what do we do as servants of the new covenant. What does that "spirit" enable us to do?

A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do
[them]. Ezekiel 36:26-27 (KJV)
