Actually, it's not theological. It's the spirit of the words.
If you understand that to be angry and resentful is to murder, you actually DO say, oh that commandment is too difficult - nay, it's IMPOSSIBLE to keep because anger sometimes rises up in me so fast I can't immediately stop it!
It's pretty easy to keep it ceremonially, outwardly. It's impossible for you to keep it in spirit and the word is spirit because God is Spirit.
So you don't begin to see that His commandments are easy. You begin to see that they are dreadfully exacting and perfect and that you are not.
So...now what? Are we meant to just stay in this condition of unholiness and impurity?
