This is about Sola Scriptura, not about SDA propaganda and their misunderstanding of Scriptures, so please, return to the topic.
God's Word is not propaganda. If you disagree with what I have posted prove me wrong with scripture. Do you believe in Sola Scriptura or not? If you cannot you should turn to the Word of God and see if these things be so.

Those who CONTINUE in KNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN will NOT enter into the KINGDOM of HEAVEN.

.......................

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has led many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

There is not one scripture in all of God's Word that says that God's 4th Commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to KEEP Sunday as a Holy day.

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

In times of ignorance God winks at but now ,<when a KNOWLEDGE of the truth has come> calls all men everywhere to REPENT (FOLLOW) (Acts 17:30-31).

Why are you the only one of us having some website link in your signature?

You follow many men. You are just not honest about it.
I follow Sola Scriptura. If you believe you do and I do not please show me from the scriptures. If you cannot you should turn to the Word of God and see if these things be so.

I already have done that.
Yet you have not. These scriptures disagree with your catholic interpretation. (Linked CLICK me)

Disagree with the scriptures presented in the link? Please address the scritpures that disagree with you. Sola Scriptura right?

You still have not answered the earlier question from scripture on page one I sent you.

Please feel free to show us from the Scriptures........

1. That God's 4th Commandment has now been ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a HOLY day?

2. That Jesus is a Sabbath?

3. The Sabbath (seventh day) was ever changed from the seventh to the first day of the week?

4. Where we are told to keep the first day of the week holy?

5. Where the first day of the week (Sunday) is ever called a holy day?

6. That says that Jesus ever kept the first day (Sunday)?

7. That tells us to keep the first day in honour of the resurrection of Christ?

8. Where the first day is ever given any sacred name?

9. That affirms that any of the apostles ever kept the first day as the Sabbath?

10. From any apostolic writings that authorizes Sunday observance as the Sabbath of God?

11. Where we are told not to work on the first day of the week?

12. That says the seventh day is no longer God's Sabbath day?

13. That says the seventh day Sabbath is ABOLISHED?

14. Where the apostles ever taught any convert to keep the first day of the week as a Sabbath?

15. Where the first day was ever appointed to be kept as the Lord's Day?

16. Where the first day of the week is ever called the Lord's Day?

17. That says that the first day of the week was ever sanctified and hallowed as a day of rest?

18. That says that the Father or the Son (Jesus) rested on the first day of the week?

19. That says that Jesus, Paul or any other of the apostles taught anyone to observe the first day of the week as the Sabbath?

20. That calls the seventh day the “Jewish Sabbath” or one text that calls Sunday the “Christian Sabbath”?

21. Telling man to keep the first day of the week holy or to worship or rest on the first day of the week?

22. Authorizing anyone to set aside God's Sabbath and observe any other day?

23. Showing any of the apostles keeping the first day of the week as the Sabbath?

24. Authorizing someone to set aside the fourth Commandment and observe any other day of the week?

25. Where any apostle taught us to keep the first day of the week as the Sabbath?

26. Declaring that the seventh day is no longer the Eternal Sabbath day?

27. Where Sunday is now appointed to be kept as the New Testament Sabbath or holy day?

If your lamp has gone out how can you find your way when the road is dark and narrow is the way?

SIN is the transgression or breaking of God's Commandments (Romans 7:7; James 2:8-12; 1 John 3:4)

Follow Jesus Christ, and all He said :) Love God, and Love Others!

Be free in Christ Jesus, and live by the spirit. We are all free for those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ!

1 John 3:23 and this is His command, that we may believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and may love one another, even as He did give command to us,
24 and he who is keeping His commands, in Him he doth remain, and He in him; and in this we know that He doth remain in us, from the Spirit that He gave us.

Galatians 5: 1 In the freedom, then, with which Christ did make you free -- stand ye, and be not held fast again by a yoke of servitude;
13 For ye -- to freedom ye were called, brethren, only not the freedom for an occasion to the flesh, but through the love serve ye one another,
14 for all the law in one word is fulfilled -- in this: `Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself;'
15 and if one another ye do bite and devour, see -- that ye may not by one another be consumed.
16 And I say: In the Spirit walk ye, and the desire of the flesh ye may not complete;
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

There is more to this chapter just go read it, I don't even know why I am collaborating all of this for you all right now.

Romans 8 : There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

The bible is a spiritual guidance book for us, to look at as a reference in what has been written in the Word of God, and the Holy Spirit allows us to recall upon all that we have learned through the scriptures we do read, and we can apply them in our own life, individually, because everyone's faith is their own faith and the live how they think is best for them to live it. We can use the Word of God to grow in knowledge of God and the Lord Jesus Christ as I have stated before.

Ok lets look at everything we have said..........

This was presented on the topic of Sola Scriptura...

Who BELIEVES in SOLA SCRIPTURA and who FOLLOW the teachings and traditions of men handed down by the Roman Catholic Chuirch?

Many here professing to be protestant follow their Catholic heritage over the Word of God which has led many to break the Commandments of God.

Who do we follow the Word of God or the traditions of men? Those who follow the traditions of men over the Word of God are not following God.

Do you REALLY FOLLOW the Word of God or do you FOLLOW the teachings of the Romans Catholic Church?

Here is something interesting to think about to help you answer the question above......

SIN is the breaking of God's Commandments (Romans 7:7; James 2:8-12; 1 John 3:4)

you followed up with.....

Maybe you need to read this:

So don’t let anyone condemn you for what you eat or drink, or for not celebrating certain holy days or new moon ceremonies or Sabbaths.
Colossians 2:16 NLT
https://bible.com/bible/116/col.2.16.NLT
then I followed up with a complete study of the scriptures showing your interpretation of the scriptures are not biblical here...

and then challanged you or your friends to prove the above scripture study incorrect with scripture and you decline. Then press you further to answer the following with scripture yet you have not......

SIN is the transgression or breaking of God's Commandments (Romans 7:7; James 2:8-12; 1 John 3:4)

Those who CONTINUE in UNREPENTANT SIN will NOT enter into the KINGDOM of HEAVEN.

Now do you really BELIEVE in Sola Scriptura?
Now you have NOT addressed the scriptures that disagree with you here or the questions above

Suggest you read this study of the scriptures that disagrees with your Catholic interpretation of one scripture; Linked CLICK ME. At least check it out if you truly believe in Sola Scriptura

So.... HOW have you proved me wrong without adressing anything I have said to you? Seems to me your the one indeed with the La La La.

Disagree? Please answer the linked scriptures discussing COL2 from the OLD and NEW Testament scriptures and the questions I have asked of you above.

If you cannot you should BELIEVE and FOLLOW the Word of God over the teachings and traditions of men that break the commandments of God.

Sola Scriptura right?

2 Corinthians 3:

1
Are we beginning to commend ourselves again? Or do we need, like some people, letters of recommendation to you or from you?

2
You yourselves are our letter, inscribed on our hearts, known and read by everyone.

3It is clear that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.

4
Such confidence before God is ours through Christ.

5Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim that anything comes from us, but our competence comes from God.

6And He has qualified us as ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

God bless! :)

Sola Scriptura is the teaching that the Scriptures contain all that is necessary for salvation and proper living before God. Sola Scriptura means that the Scriptures--the Old and New Testaments (excluding the Catholic Apocrypha)--are the final authority in all that they address (1 Cor. 4:6) and that tradition, even so-called Sacred Tradition, is judged by Scriptures. Sola Scriptura does not negate past church councils or traditions. Those who hold to Sola Scriptura are free to consider past councils, traditions, commentaries, and the opinions of others. But, the final authority is the Scripture alone because the Scripture alone is what is inspired by God (2 Timothy 3:16) and not past church councils, tradition, commentaries, and opinions. Scripture is above them all.
1Timothy 3:14-15, "I am writing these things to you, hoping to come to you before long; 15 but in case I am delayed, I write so that you may know how one ought to conduct himself in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and support of the truth."
The apostle Paul says that he is writing to the church so that the church would know how to conduct itself. Paul's writings, which are Scripture, are above the church because Paul tells the church to behave according to what he writes. Therefore, we can see that the church along with its tradition and councils is subject to the Word of God.

This is from CARM. I saw this referred to in another post so I looked it up. Is this an accurate definition? What are your thoughts on either the definition or sola scriptura itself? Thanks
Sola Scriptura along with the other 4 Solas, Sola Fide, Sola Gratia, Solus Christus, Soli Deo Gloria, contains all that is necessary for Salvation and right living before God.

IF you take out any of those five you would be missing a large portion of the picture of Salvation.

I think Sola Scriptura is important because scripture is a written document that we can use to check and insure we are following all the solas correctly.

Scripture contains Wisdom and Knowledge but it is only unlocked in Christ.

I suppose you could put Sola Spiritus in with the five solas.

Let me explain why.

The Spirit points us to Christ. Showing us the wisdom and knowledge that is contained in Him.

We cannot come to Christ, we cannot hear His Voice without the Spirit. We cannot know Wisdom or Knowledge without the Spirit.

But I would think that Sola Spiritus is contained in Solus Christus and Soli Deo Gloria.

But if it is not it definitely should be added....

I did not grow up as a Calvinist. I have only spent half of my Christian walk as a Calvinist. (And fuzzy walk into it too.) And I don't spend a lot of time learning about Calvinism, but as far as I see this, yes, it is accurate.

One caveat though. This is kind of like thinking everything about English is understood because now we know the verb. The verb is very important in understanding English, but it is one-of-eight parts to English. (Please don't make me remember the other seven. I always forget one or two. But, some of them are nouns, adjectives, adverbs, and conjunctions.)

Yes, this is pretty much how I understand Sola Scriptura, and yet, there are five Solas. Not just one.

(Also, never heard of CARM until now.)
