Honestly, never understood the Honey do lists. Anyway, my mom tried mowing the grass for my dad one year for a surprise Father's Day present. Lets just say she didn't do a walk through the yard first because we were doing some plumbing work the day before and she ran over a plumber's snake and almost ruined the lawn mower. After that time my dad was nobody touches his mower except for him. Plus, he actually finds mowing the lawn to be relaxing.
Mom tried and it's the thought that counts, but let's leave the mowing to dad. :D

Yep, that is how it went down. Now, we get stuck raking the grass afterwards and we have a HUGE yard.

I am so disappointed in myself. I took my last accounting exam this morning and I couldn't remember what accounts were debited or credited. I got an 82%, I could have and should have done better.

I just heard on the radio the other day that most personal accidents happen within 10 miles of your home......so I'm thinking about moving. :) OK carry on.

Wouldn't that make sense because that's where most spend most of their time is within 10 miles of their home?

Wow! I missed 1000! And things have really moved forward, too! Sorry if I missed liking your posts - this thread travels too fast for me.

I'm having a bad day. Although my RA is doing much better on the new med, I found out I may have a new liver disease. I'm a little disheartened, to say the least. Prayers once again gladly accepted.

On a positive note at least your new medication is working:) I will be praying against this "disease". Again I am so sorry to hear that, just keep positive in the good things that are happening. Believe me I know it is easier said than done. **HUGS**

What happened at the vet, Blue?
well, like I said earlier I have good news and bad news. The GOOD news is I don't have to have Tequila put to sleep. :)

The BAD news is she has an enlarged thyroid gland in her neck. :( The vet gave me a brand of food specifically for gastrointestinal issues, since she has inflammatory bowel disease. They're also sending me some medicine to give her to help with her gas/farting issue. So between the vet visit, medicine, and new food, I spent $154 on her today. Expensive cat!! :)

I looked at my bank account today when I got home, and I had hoped that my landlord had cashed my rent check, but he didn't.. :/ Hopefully I'll have enough left to pay my phone bill and get groceries, after he DOES cash it. Today's vet visit took a big chunk out of my wallet. :(
