the Matt Redman song reminded me this old one.
out three oldest girls used to sing it, acapella in three part harmony.

it's my favorite! we gave one to our grandson, and to each of our grandnieces and nephews. :)
Awesome, mum! If I ever get married (and I hope I do) and have children, I'll be getting them this Bible. In the meantime, I'll probably give one or two to my friend's children. They're 3 years old, so a little young. I can wait until next year. Warm them up more to Jesus first. :)

No I have not seen it. I did however look at the book itself on the internet. I try to distance myself from 'partiers' now like Becca. She will always be my friend, however my party days are behind me now and I live in an exciting world since I have starting walking with Jesus. I want no part of alcohol or anything of that nature. I will just pray for her and her daughter.
I keep thinking of a song they sing often in Church "What a day, Glorious Day it will Be" :) Like that tune. :)
Hiya Heather ... you've been missed sis' :) Your conversation with your friend Becca parallel's somewhat the contrast between styles of preaching and witnessing ...i.e... hell-fire and brimstone and damnation vs. our forgiving, loving and most merciful God in Jesus Christ. I don't think your friend is seeing the latter in the child's book she is describing and for this reason, I would advise her to steer clear of it. Explaining and showing to another the immense depth of God's love for us in Christ is what a new listener to the Word needs to hear. I have never been a proponent of hell-fire and brimstone preaching ... and never will be. Our Father and God is love expressed to us in it's greatest form ... the cross of Jesus Christ. And accompanying that is His glorious mercy given us. Be gentle and patient with Becca. But remain resolute in your stance of faith in Christ. God will work out the rest. It's great seeing a fellow nut once again :)

Good evening everyone! I see the fun and games are just continuing here!

I had a great service this morning. So good to praise God together, and hear the Word preached! Then I picked up a lot of bedding plants and spent the afternoon putting them into posts and baskets. Then I covered them with netting, I'm hoping that will prevent the deer from eating them. I had one walk into my yard yesterday, and he just looked at me with his big eyes, saying "Where are all the delightful plant treats?"

Not on my watch!

My daugher and her husband came for a long weekend visit on the way to Vancouver Island. It was nice to see her and my son and his wife and grandchildren also came over. So we inaugurated our patio with a long weekend party!

I hope everyone has a great day tomorrow. Do Americans get the Monday off? It is Victoria Day here, where we celebrate England's long dead queen!

Nothing wrong with doing that, mum. I might do the same. I'm a big kid. I love pictures. Books for adults need more pictures. :)

Yes! So cute at that age tintin! I remember my daughter was four when she started to understand what I taught more about Jesus. So one day she was nearly five. I said honey say something to Jesus and Mommy will write it down. Oh man! She rambled so fast...I nearly fell over at what she said. It was so cute. I never will forget, she said..." Jesus Jesus I wuv You wif da cross on my heart! And tank you cuz you love allll da little childrens
and we are your roses and You are da thorns that po tect us!". I'm telling you I laughed I cried! That just came from a four year olds mind but it was so cute. I will die remembering that! :)
