I've had an interesting afternoon. Some woman's dog slipped it's leash and fell into the river, so the po-po and fire dept. came and rescued it. THEN a few hours ago, some of our crazy neighbors who are not supposed to talk to me, Britney, Denise or Mary, called the cops to ask THEM to ask Denise & Mary if they were still mad at them. These are the same two ppl who came up the back porch pounding on D & M's door with a cane, screaming and swearing. The landlord has warned them to leave D & M alone, but they keep contacting them. Mary and Denise have just about had it with those lunatics..

`we're having 'severe' thunderstorms here.
(what is considered severe by Hudson Valley standards, anyway )

but since it could happen, i'll get some candles out and load the dishwasher.
i find being prepared for a power outage nearly always prevents a power outage. :)

I just found kids hiding in your dishwasher.....should I turn it on?
Sure, why not. I suppose it's a lot easier than trying to wrangle them into the bathtub...
