Before Hurley walks into the church ,he tells Benjamin "you were a good number two"

At some point they state how long Hurley and Benjamin run the island. 5000 yrs??

When they all met up, it was instantly (sleep state) as seen from Jacks point of view........him dying long before Hurley.

I know, there are websites dedicated to this show and what it all meant.
I watched the ending like 10 times, thinking.........whaaaat?

Okay, brother. I rewatched those scenes and the 12-minute short "The New Man in Charge" and still haven't discovered any mention of how long they would or did live. The final season definitely borrows heavily from The Bible, "The Matrix" and even a bit from "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Last Battle". Very cool.

It was 81 here at 4:30 am. Real humid,chance of showers late in the day.
The are saying, 100 on Monday, 101 on tuesday, the rest of the week in
the mid 90's.
Ellie, I have to go to church, but after church my day will be spent inside,
I refuse to let satan keep out of church,the little devil has a way to get you
to do things he wants you to. But, my faith, he has a lot of problems trying
to get through it. I don't get to go to church eccept on Sunday morning, and
Wedensday morning. I don't go Sunday night or wedensday night. By 2:00
pm, my day is through. But God still loves me.
