Maybe I just translated it wrong... when I don't know a term I google it... hehehehe

It's a late night time of prayer and worship at the church... sometimes it can go from 19h00 - 00h00, sometimes 22h00 - 00h00, sometimes it can go on all night, like from 22h00 - 06h00....
I have heard them called vigils....They are not common in some areas though.

Please keep my aunt in your prayers... She just found out that she has cancer (leukemia) and it's at stage three... It could be anywhere from 50 - 60% chance. :( Just found this out.[/QUOTE

I'm so sorry. I have a family member here at home battling stage 3 also, and chances are 40-60. It really stinks when there's not much we can do. I praying for your aunt, you, and your family, sister!

Well, time to say good evening friends. Rest well.

My thought for the evening.

Treasure what you have today,
for yesterday is past,
appreciate the love of family and friends,
for the time that they are here.

Goodnight everyone.

You might know this already, but there's a good chance that the kitten's eyes won't stay blue. :( Kittens are born with blue eyes and they almost invariably turn yellow or green as the cat ages. If he is over about 12 weeks old, though, and still has very blue eyes, his eyes will probably remain blue.

But I would vote for the orange and white cat. :D
So we went back to get the cat.....he was gone.....my daughter said last night she was going to pray he would be gone cause she thought I didn't need to get a cat....they can be costly...really any pet when ill can be costly and I don't work anymore so tourist is only one bringing in money.....but, we went back to the Humane society because there was a dog that I really liked his personality, but he had a mange issue and the thing is in Florida it is so hot and I had a roommate that had a dog with a mange problem and as he got older it just got worse and felt so bad for the dog so I didn't want to take on a dog that I knew would end up with medical issues right out of the gate....

He had a buddy in the cage next to his that was a miniature pincher all red and his eyes are about the same color as his fur....and he had no medical issues 5 months old and a real cutie... So we are the proud parents of Gino the red mini pin......he is really smart too cause I told him twice to sit pushing his tushy to the floor and on time three he sat himself.... I am also working on down because he likes to jump up on people and already he is staying down more around me still trying to jump up on tourist but we are working on it.....

I really prefer cats but this is a smart little dog and will win my heart soon I am sure.....but I do want my animals to mind so he will definitely be trained..... Took him out on a couple of walks and he has gone potty on both of them and getting plenty of good rewards..... This should be a piece of cake or a dog walk....as some say....lol

Where is she getting treatment at sweetie?
Unsure as of yet. Apparently she's wanting to get a second opinion before she goes through the process. :/ But if she goes with the chemo, it would have to start some time by September or early October. That's all I heard since my mother was the one who talked to her.

Thank you for the rep, by the way.

Good night as well. Yes, with mom n dad now. In their 80's. Real blessing. Cant get them to try the internets. Fans of AGT, Am. Ninja War, Shark tank, etc. They dont need the internets.
Still praying for your family, Frank, God hold you all close. JustAnUser, so you know, dad had C. Had operation. Was told had to go 5 yrs for official all-clear. Went 4 1/2 yrs. It came back. Went for radiation since they couldnt operate a 2nd time. He's 3 yrs into all-clear this time, and at nearly 88, he's doing good. We praise the Lord, but we have to remember that anything can happen to anyone at any time. I could receive a miracle healing today and be hit by a tragedy tomorrow. My folks are sitting here watching a show about CoastGuard and Katrina disaster. (I dont know why). The main thing it seems is to try to keep focus on Jesus, His victory over our sin, and sickness and death and all that that means, and that ultimately He gives us the victory. I feel so helpless when I pray, I never know the right words to say to comfort someone. I only hope for grace to bear for All of us, for our sorrows to be brief, our joys to be deep and abiding, and a greater love to bring our God and Saviour the glory. We can go thru things without Him if we choose, but He promised to never leave us or forsake us. Amazing love! Father in heaven, thank you, Lord, for my brothers and sisters in Christ. Thank you that we can pray for and with each other, and lift each other and our loved ones up to your throne, where you reign in goodness and glory, and give grace and mercy and love to us. Help us, Father, to grow more confident to say with the Psalmist, 'Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me...' . Thank you, Jesus, In your name we pray. Amen.

Not sure where you live.... but here in OKlahoma we have one of the BEST cancer centers.... we have like 3 hospitals that are like dedicated to their patients and helping them through the chemo process.... just let me know where she's gonna start this and I will keep her in my prayers...

You are welcome btw <3

Yeah, our local hospitals aren't the best... So I would hope that wherever she goes, it is decent.

Then we went to the SPCA where there were a couple more dogs a terrier pit mix that was two months old and such a cute little thing but he is going to get to about 50 pounds so he won't be small for long and a little terrier of some sort but he was 11 years old and I can't get my heart attached just to loose another animal so fast.....since he was older.... But they had a cute little white and orange male cat with blue eyes.....I don't know......they said they won't let cats leave without being in a carrier so we talked it over and are thinking about going back tomorrow for the orange and white blue eyed kitten......What do you all think? Still need some help....

Truth be told I tried to get tourist to go for a goat as there were goats in the yard.....I told him we could name it Billy the goat.....but alas I was shot down on that idea....I don't know maybe the neighbors would appreciate lower maintenance fees with a grass eating goat.......he still said no......I don't think we are annexed for farm animals....the goat was a cute white one though....poor Billy still at the Humane Society.....

Took Gino out to potty for the last time he did..... He is so smart and such a good little dog for 5 months old has not been barky, not a slobber dog which I hate and he is learning so fast.....put him in the bathroom to keep him contained for the night and not a peep out of him....not even a puppy whine.....bought a stuffed animal for him to sleep with and gave him an old towel calling it Gino's spot until I can get a real dog bed for him.....what a good little browser.....so very proud of him already....
