Well, time to say good evening friends. Rest well.
My thought for the evening.
Treasure what you have today,
for yesterday is past,
appreciate the love of family and friends,
for the time that they are here.
Goodnight everyone.
Good night as well. Yes, with mom n dad now. In their 80's. Real blessing. Cant get them to try the internets. Fans of AGT, Am. Ninja War, Shark tank, etc. They dont need the internets.
Still praying for your family, Frank, God hold you all close. JustAnUser, so you know, dad had C. Had operation. Was told had to go 5 yrs for official all-clear. Went 4 1/2 yrs. It came back. Went for radiation since they couldnt operate a 2nd time. He's 3 yrs into all-clear this time, and at nearly 88, he's doing good. We praise the Lord, but we have to remember that anything can happen to anyone at any time. I could receive a miracle healing today and be hit by a tragedy tomorrow. My folks are sitting here watching a show about CoastGuard and Katrina disaster. (I dont know why). The main thing it seems is to try to keep focus on Jesus, His victory over our sin, and sickness and death and all that that means, and that ultimately He gives us the victory. I feel so helpless when I pray, I never know the right words to say to comfort someone. I only hope for grace to bear for All of us, for our sorrows to be brief, our joys to be deep and abiding, and a greater love to bring our God and Saviour the glory. We can go thru things without Him if we choose, but He promised to never leave us or forsake us. Amazing love! Father in heaven, thank you, Lord, for my brothers and sisters in Christ. Thank you that we can pray for and with each other, and lift each other and our loved ones up to your throne, where you reign in goodness and glory, and give grace and mercy and love to us. Help us, Father, to grow more confident to say with the Psalmist, 'Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me...' . Thank you, Jesus, In your name we pray. Amen.
