ok, sooo here's my list of pro's and con's for back surgery:
Pro's:
1.) I'll finally (hopefully) be pain free.
2.) I'll be able to do stuff again that I can't do anymore now.
3.) Walk, sit and stand for any length of time without pain.
4.) Not have to use walker, cane, or toilet seat riser ever again.
Con's:
1.) I hate hospitals.
2.) I hate doctors.
3.) I don't like having surgery.
4.) I'm scared.
5.) I hate having procedures done.
6.) I don't like needles.
7.) Having surgery scares the heck outta me.
AND now the pro's and con's of having Tequila put to sleep. :'(
Pro's:
1.) No more buying litter or kitty food.
2.) No more lugging heavy litter jar into the house.
3.) Won't have to clean out a potty box anymore.
4.) No cat underfoot to trip me and make me fall.
5.) No more cleaning cat poop and vomit off the floor.
6.) I'll finally get some good rest w/o being woke up at 3 a.m every day.
7.) No more expensive vet visits.
Con's:
1.) No kitty to sleep on bed with me at night.
2.) No cat to snuggle under the blankets with me.
3.) No more watching her eat bacon and beg for more.
4.) No cat waiting for me at the door when I come home.
5.) I hate having to put her to sleep to simplify MY life and save my back.
6.) Can't afford the meds that would control her IBD and stop her vomiting and pooping on floor.
7.) I will be lonely and alone without her.
8.) I will miss her terribly.
9.) I will cry everyday and blame myself for not being a better mom.
10.) I will feel guilty for ending her life prematurely, in order to save my own health.
This is what I'm up against right now. These decisions are not easy to make. Please don't say "you know what you need to do." That doesn't help me at all. It's easy to SAY that, it's alot harder to get up the courage to actually DO it. :'(
Why does life have to be so painful??!!
