I'm pretty much done with my part, on the little S10. Have to get it up to the muffler shop to make it street legal. Have some interior stuff, turn signal switch, radio, etc., yet, but those things aren't part of the engine swap.
I've driven up the street a few times, just to see how it runs and trying to adjust it out (transmission throttle cable, choke, etc), but only a block or block and a half.
A couple of things, first, it isn't a race car. Second, it is NOISY with open shorty headers. Third is is a tire burner.
It may not be a race car, but it is going to be really fun to drive. This little pickup has some SCAT to it.
I wish I could take all the gals for a ride, one at a time.
Thinking about that reminds me of the lyrics to "Clap for the Wolfman" .... "Seventy-five or eighty miles an hour, she hollered "Slow, slow, slow"
