Heavenly Father, please, please, Lord, bring comfort and solace to blueladybug and to her beloved cat.....
Lord, I remember going through this, I remember like it was yesterday, and it hurts so bad.....Lord, I prayed and prayed for you to take my cat, please spare ladybug more of this Father,
please let it be your will that her little friend can go to sleep and go home to you and the others already there.
As much as it will hurt, Lord, this suffering is hurting more, and your daughter blueladybug is just being torn apart by seeing her friend suffer and being helpless to alleviate her.
Lord Jesus, we know these things are happening all the time, and from your perspective, Lord, even now, there are not just pets, but people too, little children, suffering with all kinds of crippling and painful diseases, and we admit, sometimes we want to play God and think if WE had the power, we would instantly cure each and every one, and sometimes we don't understand.....
Lord, forgive us, we know you are sovereign, and we know we can trust you, and we know your grace is sufficient,
but we also know you have all power and all love,
and we believe when our hearts are hurting, you hurt too.
But now we ask it to be your will that you please intervene in this situation, if you could, Father, either take this little one home,
or perhaps you could work a miracle in our sisters life,
and grant her healing so she would be able to take care of her little one properly.
Your word says that even if we, being evil, know how to give good gifts sometimes, how much more would you, our Heavenly Father,
give the Holy Spirit to those that ask.....
and we are asking, Lord, in good faith, for your Holy Spirit.
Your word says your Holy Spirit is our comforter, and our sister ladybug needs comfort, as do all of us who have joined her in prayer.
Father, we admit we don't love as we should, we don't forgive as we should, we don't care for each other as we should, Lord, and we dare not think to try to negotiate for you to answer prayers the way we see fit. We're simply asking in sincere faith and trust in you, Lord.
We DO pray, 'Thy will be done', Father, and so we ask totally dependent on you and your great love. We have salvation because of Jesus, and that's more than we deserve already, Lord, and we thank you for that, and all these other blessings you give us, even allowing us to watch and care for your little ones.
I confess I don't do such a good job of that, Lord, I fall short of the mark time and again,
and then we get to where we can't go on, it seems,
but You, our God and Father, are always perfect in your grace and timing, and so we ask again, Lord, trusting you,
let your will be done in accordance with your great grace and mercy and love, for Jesus sake and glory.
Lord, let your love manifest and multiply in the life of our sister and friend, give her the strength, the healing, the grace to carry on, we ask, we pray, and we thank you, in the wonderful name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father, please help this Heather to not be sad.
Remind her how much you love her and her Dad, Lord,
so much so that Jesus died for our sins,
but that's not the end of the story,
because Jesus also rose again,
so let her see afresh, Lord, the empty tomb,
and that because He lives, we shall live also.
Please hold them both close during these days, Lord,
and give Heather your sustaining grace and strength to bear.
Let her see the victory in Jesus,
and lift her to be of good cheer for her Dad.

your love knows no limits and your grace abounds.

I hate this. It's too painful, and my heart is broken. Why does saying goodbye have to be so darn hard? I feel like I'm losing a huge piece of my heart, and it's NOT a good feeling. I know I'm doing what's right, and what needs to be done, but it's killing me inside. Why can't animals be the one immortal thing on this God-forsaken earth?!!
