I had a very positive experience with a Muslim on a youtube comment conversation : 3 It was a video by David Wood where he talks about the Muslim belief that Paul came and changed the word of God after Christ left, which is why no one has heard about allah and all that junk. In David's video, he makes the claim that Muhammad was actually a follower of Christ, and preached His crucifixion and resurrection. But Uthman came about after his death and changed Muhammads teachings, wrote himself into the quran and hated Christ so much that he completely changed everything Muhammad said about Christ.

This Muslim asked why Uthman would do this. I responded with "why would Paul do this exact same thing?" Another Muslim said something about Paul changing the bible to mock Muslims, so I just repeated what David said in the video, that I believe it was actually Uthman who changed Muhammads word, and that Muhammad was a devout follower of Christ. So the Muslim asked why Uthman would hate Christ, and said "I hope you respond". I told him it was a joke, that David made the video to show how silly the claim that Paul came and changed the entire word of God to get rid of allah from the bible is, and that anyone can make this exact same argument against quran. He thanked me for explaining it to him, and gave me a little digital thumbs up : p

Of course this doesnt mean he has completely given himself up to the Lord : p But its a step in the right direction, and it kinda inspired me a bit. Like, I just prayed earlier this morning for Him to help this person find Him, since he was asking questions. And I came home and saw that he appreciated my response. It lifted my spirits today : p

Hey. Some of you might remember me. It's fine if you don't.

I've been having a rough few months, to say the least. Some pretty bad existential crisis, not really knowing what direction I'm going with my life since apparently I'm back to base one, and other issues that need to be taken care of still. I've been diagnosed with major depressive disorder and likely other issues that still need to be identified (namely and am suspecting ADHD). *sighs* I'm not going to be on here as much if at all anymore. Just thought on stopping by anyway.

I have ADHD and other things. There is plenty of hope because there are lots of things you can do to make things better for yourself. I could go into details, but for the moment, I'll just list a few things to look into.

1 - Spend time with God every morning asking for guidance, help, and wisdom to know and do what is best for you. (If God is not important enough to you to spend time with every day, then you will probably fumble around in your life a lot more than you need to. I offer this from a lifetime of fumbling around.)

2 - Manage your diet wisely. Educate yourself. Our health is one of the blessings God gives us stewardship over. We are responsible to Him to manage it wisely as best we can.

3 - God has given most of us incredibly miraculous bodies. We are stewards of these wonderful bodies. That means exercising appropriately, and not intentionally poisoning them with tobacco, alcohol, junk food, etc. Exercise is proven to help mild to moderate depression, and attitude. Virtually everyone needs some form of exercise.

4 - Learn about nutritional supplements. For instance, Vitamin D is shown to help reduce depression. (Along with bright sunlight everyday.) I also include fish oil and B complex in my supplementation. Nutrition is a vast field and a great deal of legitimate scientific research has gone on the last 30 years or so, which has not found its way into the medical colleges yet. It is our responsibility to make our lives better, not just expect all of our problems can be cured with a pill.

5 - Another thing to look into is "clinical ecology"; that is, investigating things like chemicals in your environment that could be affecting you unknowingly. This may not apply to everyone, but it is an issue with many and certainly worth eliminating from the possibilities in your own life.

6 - A very common health problem is mold, mildew, and fungal infections. A lot of research has gone into this the last 20 years or so, and I am convinced that it is responsible for a lot more problems than it is currently given credit for, including depression and depressed immune functioning. (You might want to investigate candida albicans infections, and check out the websites:
http://drsircus.com/medicine/cancer/is-cancer-a-fungus Cancer is a fungus - the book by Dr. T. Simoncini Know The Cause - Doug Kaufmann)

7 - A lot of people are finding that dairy products bother them one way or another. You might consider eliminating those for two weeks to see if you feel better. Ditto wheat and corn products.

8 - Find a Psychiatrist which you feel comfortable with. (This doesn't mean you are crazy. They are simply doctors who received extra training in how medications affect our mood, attitude and thinking, etc.) There are many many new and old meds that could make a difference in your life in a matter of hours or days or weeks. It is quite possible that you will not need them forever, just long enough to get your life back on track.

9 - There is new technology being researched that is shown to help not only with mood, but actual memory and thinking. You might consider looking into cranial electro stimulation (CES) and transcranial direct current stimulation.

10 - Lastly, get involved with at least one, maybe two or more, healthy Christian support groups, Bible study groups, or something along those lines. (And ask them for prayer.) God designed us to need fellowship. (It is not good for man to be alone.) Also, seeing a mature (preferably) Christian therapist is also helpful to anyone who is serious about growing emotionally and spiritually, whether currently stuck or not.

May God lead you to the life He wants you to have.
