TOTALLY UNRELATED TO ANYTHING IN THIS THREAD BEFORE THIS POST BUT,
I've noticed a pattern on internet forums where older Christians (50s, 60s +) seem quicker to resort to name-calling and personal attacks when someone else has a different view than them, rather than addressing the person's views. It has made me wonder, is the L.U.L.A. (Love Up, Love Around) a newly introduced concept to newer generations? That is, were name-calling and personal attacks acceptable in the churches that these people grew up in? Is it permissible by God to these people?
Doesn't have to be answered. Just a thought.
P.S. I'm not saying all older Christians are like this, or even most. I'm just saying that 9 times out of 10 when I see a pretty offensive post on a Christian forum, it was made by someone who was over 50
