Is that a real number? :D

No, it is a fake number. It doesn't really exist. It's like the square root of negative one. Some people just pretend it is real. Don't let anyone on this thread tell you different.

Our Daily Brick

I just ran across some notes I made about Eph 2:22

I thought I would share them.

Eph 2:
22. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.

Our life is a temple. Each day is a brick that we add to the temple. The placement of the brick is determined by how we spend each day. The quality of the brick comes from the quality of our relationship with Messiah Jesus that day.

If we spend a day doing nothing when we could be productive, we turn that day's brick into dust and it falls through our fingers. If we spend most days watching soaps or sports on television, those bricks are applied to the television wing of our temple and has the strength of a sand castle. If we spend most of our time running around trying to take care of our children then those bricks are built into the family wing of our temple. And again, the quality of those bricks comes from the quality of our relationship with Jesus Christ that particular day.

If we spend a day in earnest prayer and Bible meditation, that brick goes in to the foundation of our temple. If we spend a day focused on Christ in prayer and thanksgiving, even as we are running around trying to manage our lives, that brick goes in to the sanctuary part of the temple of our life.

Our lives are like condemned buildings in which God works to rebuild and live in. The more He lives in us, the more our buildings (our lives) reflect His nature, character and values. We can either defend the rotten bricks, mortar and woodwork, by focusing on those parts of our lives, or we can allow His Spirit to seep through and encapsulate everything and create a beautiful new temple out of us. We allow Him to do this by focusing on God's Son all day long, instead of ourselves. It is up to us to daily invite (beg) Him to do the renovations in us that are necessary for Him to live in us.

So, ever wonder who the first guy was that discovered they could milk a cow? Ever wonder what they thought they were doing when they figured it out?

Hmm..........

"The first man to milk a cow and what he thought he was doing".....great minds at work here on CC figuring out the important mysteries in life. I wonder what Einstein would have concluded. Is this a topic for the UN to discuss or NATO?

I am left to ponder what Einstein would think of the UN or NATO?

How does one deal being surrounded by Liberals in college? Including the professors being biased as heck when teaching.

Good morning everyone.
My wife and I once stayed in Clearwater Fl and we drove to St. Petersburg in order to catch a boat that took us on a snorkeling excursion. I remember eating at a cool restaurant called "Guppy's" but I can't remember if it was in St. Petersburg or on the way to St. Petersburg from Clearwater.
