Dan, awhile back I think you mentioned something about a Keurig ninja coffee bar or something like that. Did you ever get it? How does it work? :)

It turns out my wife wanted something else instead. My son was going to buy it for us as a Christmas present. Maybe next year.

ROMANS 10:1) Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. 2) For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. 3) For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
4) For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

After visiting certain threads that pertain to the sabbath and the 10 commandments (or the law in general), it turns out that Israel is not the only one's with this same problem!

Supervisor called this morning and left me a message:

Give up my day off just because 3 people called in sick to get out of work? NOT! One of my co-workers volunteered to go in and is under the delusion they will let him off early. :D The last time he fell for that, he ended up working 11 hours!

After 27 years, I've learned to NEVER volunteer (they will take full advantage of you!) unless you have nothing better to do and just want the money. ;)

So, things are slowly... VERY slowly getting better. I say this because my counselor and I have come up with a “title” to label what I have... but in less than 2 weeks I go see my psychiatrist and they will diagnose what I have. Didn’t know I’ve been battling with this issue for a very long time, and it took me to have my son for my brain to realize something wasn’t right. So therefore, many days and nights after my son was born of me crying my eyes out and doubting my self worth... and I finally am getting the real help I need... and NOT what I just think I need. I know it sounds weird, but this is WAY better than me trying to figure things out on my own when I know i can’t. And for you funny people out there, no the label isn’t “crazy”.... although that’s what i told my counselor I’ve been saying about myself and she said that’s not right. Maybe for my mother... but that’s not me.
im just thankful I have someone to talk too and to fully open up and get the past out of my head to someone else who isn’t apart of my daily life.

It sounds like you are making progress in the right direction. Praise God.

One thing that has helped me deal with my depression is to thank God with every free thought I have. It takes a few days to get in the habit, but now most any time my mind is just idling, it automatically starts thinking, "Thank you Jesus. Thank you Father."

Instead of thinking how how bad I am or how bad I have it, I am grateful to God for all the blessings He has showered down upon me.
