Good morning, everyone.

I haven't been getting much sleep lately, and I'm pretty exhausted.

There's nothing wrong with me (besides my obvious, deep-rooted psychological problems...lol).

I've just been waking up way too early (been up since 4:00 a.m. today...3:00 a.m. yesterday).

If anybody has a home remedy for sleep (besides hanging upside down in my closet with my head in a bucket of piranha fish...lol), then I'm in.

Seriously, if any of you wouldn't mind saying a quick prayer that I get some much needed sleep, then I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks.

What works for me to sleep, is I have my Tablet plugged in and ear phones. Ear buds, Bluetooth and big headphones can cause probs if used too frequently so I use the simple flat small ear plugs. So what I do is turn off auto-play and start with a great message from one of my favorite speakers. I figure if I can't sleep, I'll make that time count. So I start concentrating on every word being said and I'm asleep in 5-10 minutes. My dogs woke me up twice this morning and every time I put on a lesson, that did it:D
If it's not on auto-play it will stop after the message so sound isn't going into ears all night. No offense to the preachers btw, who help put me to sleep, lol.

Sometimes, I put the audio Bible on on my laptop, and that eventually puts me to sleep. My problem isn't really falling asleep. It's staying asleep. Part of my problem is that I like to accomplish as much for God in this world that I possibly can, so I've kind of adopted an "I'll sleep when I die" mentality. I know that God gives his beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2), but I also know that there's a lot of work to be done in this fallen world before Jesus returns.

Last night, I was engaged in a conversation with a Satanist on one of the threads before going to bed. I kind of anticipated that someone was going to report her, even though I wish that they hadn't, and I checked her status early this morning. When I saw that she had been banned, that pretty much wiped out any chance of me falling back asleep.

Top 10 Natural Sleep Aids 2021 | Want To Sleep Like A Baby?

A dose of the ZzzzQuil always works for me, but I wake up groggy and have to be careful how often I use it due to the Medications I am on. If folks are on Medications, they need to research the side effects to see if that is why they are having a hard time sleeping.

I haven't had a normal sleep pattern for years. But that's due to the medical problems I suffered back in 2016. That severe reaction to Prevnar 13 that almost killed me, and the resulting and permanent damage to my shoulder joints (adhesive capsulitis and tendentious) and the pain medication I have been on since then cause me to have irregular sleep patternts/times. I sleep when the pain allows me to. Sometimes it's for an hour, sometimes for two or three, and then, eventually, I will CRASH and sleep seven or eight hours. But that is a rare occasion and it really does not help me to feel "rested."

Prayer is my salve and Jesus my salvation........... I have learned to live with my "new normal."

God bless all who are going through sleep deprivation. Prayers

I was going to mention to you to that they had been banned... I hesitated to say anything at all to them, because I doubted very much that she would be open to anything we say, but I did not report her ;)

I used to try to listen to the audio Bible in bed a few times before sleeping,
but could never get to the flood before I would be gone to never never land :giggle:

I saw that she was logged in here earlier today. She probably didn't realize that she had been banned until then.

Whether or not she'll ever listen, our job is to at least attempt to "plant" and "water" the seed of God's word that people might be saved.

If nothing else, she heard the truth. Now, we can pray that the Holy Ghost convicts her in relation to the same.

Anyhow, I didn't think that you reported her.

:)

Isaiah 53:5 - But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

James 5:14 - Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:

James 5:15 - And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

Acts 3:16 - And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

It wasn't me, I didn't do it!!! Haha, how often did we say that as kids?

I saw you mention in another thread that you are number 8/9 kids o_O

And that one of your siblings had passed before you were born...

Does that mean your mom was pregnant 10 times?

Mine was too! Except I have 10 siblings, because I am a twin ;):D

She only had 9 children. I meant that one of her 9 children died before I was born.

Are you really a twin?

I'm one of a kind, thank God.

And everybody said "AMEN!"...lol.

Well, Mister Live4Him, when people asked me if my twin brother and I were identical?

I cannot say here what my response to that question was :ROFL::LOL::devilish::giggle:

Have a nice lunch with your son :)

I often wonder how the death of a child affects the dynamic of a family as a whole in general, and more particularly, how it affects the relationship of the parents. It could not have been an easy thing to bear for anyone in your family, and I was sorry to hear it :(

I think it may be time for a nap :D
