Did you see my explanatory message to you about it? Post #88,995

One of the reasons why I prefer online sources for posting images is because such an image will transfer with the post when the post is quoted. Otherwise a link is provided to the image, and if someone wants to see the image, they need to click the link. That happened on the old platform only when the post quoted ended up on a different page from the original post.
No, I missed it. Must be my bed time.

Thanks for pointing that out to me. Wow, that is very helpful.

Thanks so much for taking the time to give me all the information.

You're awesome. :)

I plan on practicing it in the morning. Hopefully, I can bring some coffee and donuts tomorrow.:giggle:

Have a good night:sleep:

Virtual donuts have zero calories!!! ;):geek::giggle:

On another note, I bought my daughter some mini red velvet cup cakes with real cream cheese icing on them for her birthday, which is not until Friday, but better sooner than later, right? LOL (I usually only see her on a Sunday or Monday which are her days off, though we used to get together on Saturdays, especially when she only worked until noon, though that changed a few years back, but even then, we would get together after 4...) When I was leaving I saw she had eaten one so I ate one, too, and it was really yummy! :D

I'm speechless after watching the two videos.
My heart aches for these people. There's no way that the store can even hold enough groceries to feed these people lined up...no wonder why they started looting the supply warehouses...I get it. No jobs and no food makes people desperate. It robs them of hope. Even the police must be running low on hope at this point.

How does a society recover from this sort of madness and desperation?

I get that it's just basic food...it's fleeting and inexpensive for most of us...but for those people it's very expensive and almost impossible.

I'll be surprised if this doesn't hurt for decades to come.
You got it all wrong my friend, the people in the queue are not the looters, they are the responsible citizens that now have to buy after their stores were looted.

The looters started looting because their leader was arrested for fraud and jailed for 15 months for contempt of court.

Morning Ruby, it's almost 10:00pm here so I'd do well to stay away from the coffee.

But I hope you enjoy your coffee and day.

I would bring some sweet treats, but I'm not sure how to post gifs.

No worries though, looks like Magenta has the sweet treats covered. :)
Morning BrokenSparrow,

Well it's evening here now. We are the opposite in time. I can at night tell everyone else how their day went and what is about to happen  We always welcome anyone who posts coffee, donuts or sweets :coffee::coffee::giggle:

No no....I understood...there were those lined up and being orderly and the lines were literally kilometers long....to those who were looting and the streets filled for kilometers with looters. All over foodstuffs.

All of this stuff is not good for a society....sure the lines of people are better...but when the store shelves become bare it isn't a pretty scene.

It has an effect upon a community...one that doesn't go away for a while.

Our grocery stores here in TN USA are getting better...still holes in the shelves in spots and varieties and types of various products are still missing. That came about from over a year ago from the panic buying...we still haven't fully recovered from it.

A few of the grocery store managers died from COVID-19 too...and their leadership is missed.

It's disconcerting to go to a grocery store and then there's nothing to buy.

Is it PR's boat????:ROFL::ROFL: or do you also have other fishing friends :p
See....a boat is a hole in the water you pour money into. But lots of people have boats. So it's best to find a friend who has a boat and is always good to go fishing.
A bad day fishing is still better than a great day working.

And P Rhebein I believe is in Alabama and Dan is in Ohio (I think) at least 8 hour drive time away.

If they were only looting foods, it was okay but they looted everything..... everything.... and then worst of all, once they were done they set the place on fire. It is just sad John. I have friends and colleagues living there and they are now struggling but things are returning to normality slowly but surely.

When he was president they protested to get him out of office...

Now he is not president they are protesting to get him out of jail...:ROFL::ROFL: makes sense, right???
