Hey everyone,

I wish I could say things are “great” right now but that’s sadly far from the truth. There’s so much sadness in my life, with family illnesses… with family drama and my Own personal struggles. I pray daily, more than once. Repeating myself like a broken record. It’s so hard right now, Its Not like I just lost a loved one, it’s that they are slowly dying… with cancer and other sickness. I just wish that either the Lord takes them home before Christmas or after. That’s how serious this is.

just asking for extra prayers, I’ve been distant due to depression and many Other emotions.

God bless you all, and thank you for being such kind people to reach out too.

Hugs sent along with prayers. Sorry it is a rough time right now. God is with you through it all and has His arms wrapped around you.

All preachers tell you about God but none of them tell you how to speak to him in person.
Everyone sets him/her self as a Pope. Who gave them their authority? Why listen to them? There is only one authority Christ in the Gospels and the Holy Spirit after his ascension. Everyone else
is following the same falsehood as the Scribes and Pharisees he encountered at his first coming
A very uneducated statement.
You do not know all pastors, what they believe or teach.
Would suggest that you read Ephesians 4:10-12

Yes in many respects I am as thick as two planks. I do not need to be educated to know that.
It took me a struggle to find Ephesians 4:10 -12 due to my alleged ignorance but on finding and reading it a feeble light bulb flashed and settled on a single word in the passage. That word
was GAVE in verse 11. I seem to recall that this indicated the past tense. I concluded that
Paul was talking about people who lived in his past not my present. I do not know all Pastors
and what they believe and teach but I do know about a number of the Denominations they belong to and what their Pastors are told/taught to believe and teach. One reason for some Denominations existing is because one or several members wouldn't tow the line so went off to form their own.

Maybe a poor choice of words to express my view.
Do not believe it wise to group those I know with those I do not and make negative statement.

Keep in mind many are going through similar challenges. I'm involved with a few prayer/study groups and a theme seems to be to trust God at all times, He knows the beginning from the end. So many are facing serious health issues. My son married a girl in the Philippines and because he's a student here in CA and I'm retired we are having a tough time getting her a Visa, it's been about 3 yrs they've been apart. Then she came down with blood clots around her heart. Idk why all this is happening to this young couple except my son could get more into building his faith instead of playing video games(to keep himself occupied).
I have a new favorite Scripture 'Don't worry about anything but instead pray about everything and thank God for all He has done already for you. You will have His peace this way'. "Happy is he/she who puts their trust in the Lord' and 'Give your cares to Him' are other Scriptures telling us how to handle hard situations. But we know 'All things work together for good' and the many Scriptures that say He is refining us. I pray that You remember all your blessings and that the Comforter blesses you and your loved ones. 'He sent His Word and healed us' and esp 'Be of good cheer, I have overcome the world'. Make it a Merry Christmas and I pray you get a special blessing for Christmas✨💛✨

Thanks for this Tabs, it has been a tough few weeks and sometimes you forget how to handle things. At least I do anyways. Thanks for the reminder.

Someone in my neighborhood had a brilliant christmas display. This was just one house. He must have spent the whole week or two putting up the lights :)

Some of us were trying to tell him that leaving was not necessary...

I think his user account was still operative the next day or so - and, he did make some more posts after the one linked to above. I thought he changed his mind and decided not to leave.

I did not know until I read your post today that his account has been "guested" - so, I don't know when exactly that happened.
