Go run through the sprinklers. :)
Go stand on the sprinklers. :)
I haven't done that in about twenty years.:)

In fact my sister and I would usually fill up a bucket of water and sit on it.

Phil, Grandma warned me years ago about starting a job on Sunday. I didn't listen. I've been working on that old Van for over a year and I still have just "one" more part to replace.

I can hear her laughing and telling me "one day you'll learn to listen".

Well it is called SNAP2013. I appreciate the gesture.:)
Our main program is blackboard, and we use a couple others, but never used SNAP2013....I was just taking a timed quiz on it and my computer froze because of it...that was panic mode lol...
I wish I could help, sorry.

It's the thought that counts, right? I appreciate the thought.

There are people that should not have access to tools, at any time. Started on my Blazer today. Plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor. It had been done, not too long ago. Rotor was loose. Idiot. Pulled the right front to look at the ABS sensor...installed wrong and tore it up. Have to replace the right front hub assembly. Pulled the right rear to look at the brake fluid leak. Improperly installed caliper. Had to replace it too. Looked at the new one and realized the idiot had swapped sides with the rear calipers. The bleeder zerk is at the bottom of the caliper instead of the top. Bleed that thing from now 'til eternity and not get the air out. Idiot. This was a pretty good car.....right up 'til some moron started wrenching on it.

Got that ugly chrome tape off. Have to replace front pads while I'm in the front. I'm gonna have to spend maybe 5 or 6 hunnert to get it right, but when I get there it's gonna be a decent car. Nice that I am able to work as much as I am. Be really nice to go back to wrenching. I think it's going to happen. What a mighty God we serve! :) View attachment 106367

Now you said all that and all this Blond sees is the little metal thingy holding that big car up off of you...Please be careful under there and if you have a cell phone please take it with you in case that metal thingy fails to hold up the car.... Do I sound like a Blond worry wart mom? Cause I am one.. I trust your abilities Phil but not so sure about that metal thingy....safety first....Blond

But can someone translate that? Is he saying the thingamajig fall off of the whoitz that was attached to the thingamabob?:p:confused:
Okay, I'll translate......The car was missing, sputtering and backfiring. Because the rotor was loose.
The car barely stopped.......because the brakes were screwed up.
To condense, the car has problems because someone that didn't know what they were doing started messing with it.

Hope this helps! ;)

Those jack stands holding up the car will not fail. They're made from God's iron! :)

A rotor is called that because it rotates. It is fastened to the distributor shaft. The distributor shaft is mechanically connected to the camshaft. The camshaft opens and closes valves that let in oxygen and fuel and let out, or exhausts, burned fuel and oxygen. It burns because the distributor distributes spark to the distributor cap, thru the rotor, which in turn sends that spark to the spark plugs. It must happen in exact sequence to run properly. Any problems along those parts results in that spark occurring at the wrong time, which causes all kinds of driveability problems.

The problem here is I try to relate too much info. I am a mechanic, not a teacher.:(

I am back from visiting my SIL... she's doing fantastic!!

Able to eat on her own, she can see clearly now, she just has an issue with balance and dizzy spells.

She has physical therapy everyday and they are working with her to strengthen her arms and legs up for her real physical therapy road to Jim Thorpe. Still no word when that is, but hey!!! At least she even feels better after having 3 different procedures done!!
Yeah, tell me 'bout dat! Been there, done that, and STILL have the "T" Shirt. Tell her to hang in there.

Mom,

Actually, the car wasn't really missing. He knew right where it was all the time. (The engine was acting up)

Please all, please say a prayer for me for tomorrow because I will be going for my blood work! Father I cast all of my worries, fears, anxiety, and hypochondria onto you! Please take care of me Jesus I pray to you.

“Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall” (Psalm 55:22), and “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7).
