the red cross came to the high school and if you were over 16, you could donate blood.

Actually, I love stories that start that way. In fact I do want to marry someone who tells great stories and is amazing in telling them with all of the adjectives, describing everything to the very detail.

well, the vivid detail is my BP is normally on the low side...like really low.
and it takes me almost an hour to donate a pint.
after which i get kinda dizzy.

the last time i gave blood, the lady there said, hon!
A positive is not in short supply.

Hubby has been loading me into the wheelchair to get me to the bathroom, about 15 steps from the bed. He hurt his back doing it. I feel badly about it.

Monday, I see my rheumatologist, hopefully I can start a new med and get this disease under control. (Please, no herbal suggestions. It was a herbal remedy that made my liver enzymes go crazy high, so I had to go off my new drug 2 weeks ago. Besides, I have really tried them all, and I didn't even get placebo effect out of them.)

On a good note, my lungs and sinus infection really seem to be cleared up.

Prayers really needed for the next few days. And prayers for you and your mom, jsr1221!

Dear Father

Please be with Angela and take this pain and swelling away from the RA. Help her medicine to kick in and work the way it should and just please take care of her in a mighty way. I know You love her and hate to see her in this pain too so please bring her peace, comfort and healing according to Your will. Please help the hurt that her husband has gotten in helping her so please heal them both and thank You for taking care of her in Jesus Name Amen

lol, No problem. They all have good Christian messages....We were actually shown Courageous in my law enforcement class....It is an amazing movie and if you haven't seen it, I recommend it.

Tourist had gone up to bed and I was working on a load of laundry so he will have clean work clothes in the AM.... I had put in a pineapple upside down cake in the oven and it was done had let it cool and just turned it out on the cake holder was getting ready to cut a piece and I felt something touch me....I screamed mind you I had a knife albeit a butter knife in my hand turning around there was tourist as I am freaking out he came up behind me so quiet....

Now that my adrenalin is pumping who knows when I will go to sleep now... it was funny and scary at the same time.... I asked him if he wanted a piece of cake but I think my scream scared him too... laughing as it was funny....

Anyway I really made the cake for Mothers day....but since I'm the mother I can eat a piece now if I want too....lol Still waiting about 10 more minutes before dryer stops and then I will go to bed too.... I know it's bad to eat and go to bed....maybe I will have a really good dream....of someone touching me quietly from behind and scream again.....still laughing....

PS the cake is really good too....
