He would probably wanna lick the frosting bowl.
I would be okay with that as long as he doesn't do that with someone else's frosting. I am only kidding, I am not a jealous type of person and it really isn't in my DNA to be that way. I just thinking decorating a wedding cake together would be really sweet.

Well, I know for me this week I have always been on the go and after what happened I need to stay home and relax. It doesn't help I am responsible to take my mom wherever she needs to go and believe me she has to go everywhere. Ellie, you are so funny. Lol
i have an auntie who's 87 and legally blind.
my cousin says much the same as you. :)

i suppose it is a bit comical, but i assure you, unless there's music playing,
(sometimes even then) i cannot stop thoughts...and most of it's nonsense! :p

and if there's no music playing outside my head, there is inside.
did i ever tell you i write awful music?

Hello everyone!

I'm having the worst day ever. I woke up at 2:30 am in shock, turns out my body had gone into a severe RA flare.I've been taking pain meds and too much prednisone. My knees and elbows look like giant, hot balloons.

Hubby has been loading me into the wheelchair to get me to the bathroom, about 15 steps from the bed. He hurt his back doing it. I feel badly about it.

Monday, I see my rheumatologist, hopefully I can start a new med and get this disease under control. (Please, no herbal suggestions. It was a herbal remedy that made my liver enzymes go crazy high, so I had to go off my new drug 2 weeks ago. Besides, I have really tried them all, and I didn't even get placebo effect out of them.)

On a good note, my lungs and sinus infection really seem to be cleared up.

Prayers really needed for the next few days. And prayers for you and your mom, jsr1221!

I love my mom to pieces and wouldn't trade her for anything, but there are days where I need to take time for me. I feel guilty enough for having the two health concerns I do have.

By the way, I don't think you could ever write anything awful and I assure you that I am constantly daydreaming and in some cases I find myself doing that when I need to focus on something else of higher importance.

That is sweet of your husband for helping you. I used to do the same for my late wife. Perhaps a drier climate would be beneficial but probably not a practical solution seeing how you have just moved to your current location. Arthritis is a vicious debilitating disease. I will continue to pray for you.

Oh, honey I am so sorry. Although, I am praising God that it seems as though your sinus infection and your lungs are feeling much better.:)

Lord Jesus, I ask you to touch Angela's body right now as the RA is flaring up that you ease the pain and discomfort and your peace surrounds her entire body. Satan, I bind you and your stronghold over this wonderful woman who is such a blessing not only to me but others here as well. I bind you and break your hold over her in the name of Jesus. I also pray that as she wakes up tomorrow morning that you will show her what a blessing she is to everyone and that she is able to enjoy a beautiful Mother's Day in your love. In Jesus Name, AMEN

Actually, this move has taken me to one of the driest climates in Canada. It's not Arizona, but about as close as you can get and still be in Canada. But I have never noticed weather bothering me, only not being on strong meds. I lived on the wet, west coast the first few years with RA, then brutally cold Edmonton for the next 15. I didn't like the cold the most.

As for allergies, the climate here might be to blame. Just rich with all kinds of flowers, shrubs and weeds I don't even know the names of.

Your prayers are very appreciated.

Ok, I was not referring to that herb. It's just that people keep advising me to take Glucosamine, which is for osteo arthritis (which I do take) or apple cider vinegar or tumeric, etc etc. None of which has ever helped me.

Besides, even if THAT herb worked to kill the pain, my goal is to stop the inflammation. Besides, I have a few friends on medical pot and they are so looped out and crazy, I would never take it for that reason!

As for jokes, they are always ok. This is the BDF, isn't it?? LOL
