God the father annointed Jesus through the baptism of John when the time came to annoint him to preach the gospel
“And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, Because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, And recovering of sight to the blind, To set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.”
Luke 4:17-19, 21
John was annointed by God from the womb
“For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb.”
Luke 1:15
and was appointed to prepare the people for the messiah and the gospel. Part of it was to baptize Jesus and through this God annointed Jesus with the holy ghost to specifically preach the gospel
John and Jesus are where the law and prophets end and the gospel begins
“Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: ( john)
( Jesus )and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.”
Malachi 3:1
“The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God; As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, Which shall prepare thy way before thee.
…John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.”
Mark 1:1-2,
Indeed John baptizing Jesus is when Jesus was annointed to preach the gospel chosen and appointed before creation and manifest and annointed at his baptism
“The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.”
Luke 16:16
until John baptized Jesus and when he did this happened shortly afterwards
“Now after that John was put in prison,
Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.”

They were foretelling a time ahead and now it has come forth when John baptized Jesus they were prophecies of Jesus and the gospel

definately God annointed Jesus through the baptism of John
