lets look at that vers again will we

To Noah, after the flood, the Lord said "Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as (or in the same manner) the green herbs have I given you all these things." - Genesis 9:3. So in the same way he gave the green herbs. He gave them the moving things of the earth. Then we turn to Genesis 1:29 and read:

"And God said, Behold I have given you every herb bearing seed; which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat".

Here, God gave to man the herbs with a provision, and only the ones bearing seeds healthy in this case are we to use for food. So the moving things were given us in the same way.

There are poisonious herbs that humans cannot eat

(In saying this, Jesus declared all foods "clean.")

Mk 7:19

Yep.

Please note within the herbs that God gave it says even as the green herb have i given you because with the herbs or plants etc there are poisionous plants that humans cannot eat but only the animals

it is unclean for humans .

Just a thought

apart from the ten commadments God gave the following as guidelines

[h=3]Ezekiel 18:5-9[/h]King James Version (KJV)

5 But if a man be just, and do that which is lawful and right,
6 And hath not eaten upon the mountains, neither hath lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, neither hath defiled his neighbour's wife, neither hath come near to a menstruous woman,
7 And hath not oppressed any, but hath restored to the debtor his pledge, hath spoiled none by violence, hath given his bread to the hungry, and hath covered the naked with a garment;
8 He that hath not given forth upon usury, neither hath taken any increase, that hath withdrawn his hand from iniquity, hath executed true judgment between man and man,
9 Hath walked in my statutes, and hath kept my judgments, to deal truly; he is just, he shall surely live, saith the Lord God.

The food laws were given in genesis and magnified in leviticus that is what i mean
Nope.

In Gen the disctinction between clean and unclean animals was about sacrificial atonement,

as was the proscription of eating blood.

It was not about diet.

Food laws weren't given until Leviticus, while sacrificial laws were given at the first sacrifice in Gen.

I iwonder why Noah use clean animals and not unclean to give God thanks

After the flood both the clean and the unclean things still lived."And Noah builded and altar unto the Lord; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar." - Genesis 8:20.
Ya' think maybe God gave Adam those instructions at the beginning?

You don't need to be a rocket scientist to know that.

Did you not say that the sacrificial laws were given in leviticus

But honestly i think what Isdaniel is saying makes sense

the food laws were given in genesis it is clear i can see it now

I am learning alot from both of you :)

What was the distintion of the plants then for atonement also ?

It's not about "making sense," it's about what Scripture states.

God gave Noah every moving thing that lives for food (Ge 9:3).

He prohibited the eating of blood (Ge 9:4) because it was not given for food at that time,
it was given only to make atonement.

Where do you find God changing what was to be eaten as he stated in Ge 9:3?

Are we changing the subject from eating to another subject now?

I wouldn't smoke, I wouldn't shoot heroin, I wouldn't do face piercings, I wouldn't sniff glue,
I wouldn't do motor-cycle racing, I wouldn't go out on a boat in a storm, I wouldn't walk a
high-line wire, I wouldn't stick my head in a lion's mouth, etc., etc., etc.

?:)

lets go to that shall we hmm

[h=3]Genesis 9:3[/h]King James Version (KJV)

3 Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.

God gave noah to eat the meat just as He told him to eat the herbs

Notice He said even as or just like the herbs you are to eat the meat
How was he eating herbs only the green and in context not colour but the green there means healthy hmmm

please try again

So everything shall be meat for you

becomes limited as the herbs are limited w

which becomes green does not mean their color but manes "healthy". . .

That is Biblically unwarranted futzing with "everything that lives and moves will now be food for you" now being third removed from what God said.

None of that is in Scripture.

please try again

You did not show where any of the third removed is in Scripture.

Given the human nutrient-digestive system, would they eat from a tree with no seeds/fruit?

hmm you always confuse things was that hard hmm so in Genesis 9 says everthing as the green herb hmm the trees were the same there are those that we are to eat as God instructed Adam

Genesis 2:9And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil
Genesis 2:16

King James Version (KJV)

16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

Does that mean Adam ate out of every tree hmmm no he did not
God said in the above some tree were good for food while others was not

Most fruit trees that appear in nurseries and people's yards produce fruit that is both visually interesting for its shape and color as well as edible. Some, however, contain compounds that make some or all of their parts poisonous to humans; this can have disastrous effects for those who sample unaware.
