I am not condemning you bro.
Just saying should we not keep it?
Not under law means the law can not condemn us, it does not mean parts of the law are still not to be used as a guide.
Oh no brother i wouldnt even think you were condemning me. And you hit the nail on the head by saying "parts of the law are still to be used as a guide. Paul even tells us this in Romans 15:4 "For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope." We know God set up the Sabbath as a day of rest but i personally dont think we should make the Sabbath a "legalistic" law that we must follow to live our lives for Christ. When we make it a "must do" to be Christian we just add another law just like the Pharisees used to do.
See my point? every day should be a day we "rest" in the Lord. Not by not working but by living our lives for Him. How many people think that because they go to church once a week they are Christian? Do we actually put out the wrong message by this?
I guess this would be my main problem with the Sabbath teaching. We spend a good bit of time arguing this but how much time do we spend in the Gospel?
Sorry its really hard for me to put this in message form and i probably messed up my point lol.
