Someone called t8t has been performing a St Vitus Dance here with a lot of negative emojis. Heshe has been callng me devil, satan, son of belial, etc. Hope she is not frothing at the mouth with her vile vituperation.

Deeply concerned that my well-researched irrefutable articles on ‘The Tragic Truth about Tattoos’ and ‘Tattoos and Demon Possession’ are causing chorea and other loony convulsions among the female folks here.

If they had confessed their sin and truly repented, they would not behave in this demented fashion!
you have jokes too i see . correct in love is what the lord requires of the brethren in firmer standing in christ remember that. one love

Try taking your message to the heathens maybe? Who knows you might scare them all away from God. We here are confirmed Christians with beautiful personal connections to God which you are NOT PART OF! Time you leave old boy, you were beaten thousands of years ago!
Oh lastly I am a man, equal to woman as God made me. We are neither male nor female in the spirit. You have a problem with Gods creation (women)for some reason. God loves you, repent while there is time. Gods love knows NO boundarys!

The obsession is not mine. Nobody sports tattoos in our part of the world. But they seemed to have caused an uproar here in this lovely-dovey, namy-pamby group of Bible-ignorant friends.

So everyone is saved in "your part of the world"? Everyone knows the Bible where you are from? Where is this literal heaven on earth? I think we'd all like to know where it is.

Posthuman, the sword of Goliath was kept behind the ephod so that when the time came it could be used to deal with the enemies of God. Not only by David.

Looks like the sword of Goliath has been used here, as I see an unwarranted outcry from these Philistines (or Moabites? who are more fleshly) who’ve covered themselves not with spiritual armour but with the poisonous spider’s web of lies.

:);)
oh, brother, yes, but there is more to it than that...

Goliath's description strongly suggests he is a charioteer -- probably having a spear and two swords, both a curved sickle-type and a straight sword. if he is roughly twice the size of an ordinary man, it stands to reason his armament is also roughly twice the size of a normal man's.
1 Samuel 17 tells us David brought Goliath's head to Jerusalem ((burying it at gol-goliatha, the place of "the" skull, where Christ put His cross, symbolically crushing the head of the seed of the serpent)), and that David took Goliath's kit and put it "in his own tent"

which sword did he ((who else but him?)) bring to Nob, why not both, what happened to the spear, shield and armor?
if David consecrates these things ((why would weapons of Belial be kept in the house of God?)) wouldn't he consecrate all of them?
why does he say of the sword ((in 1 Samuel 20)) 'there is none like it' -- owing to its size? or to some other characteristic?

with it he first defended Keilah from Philistine raiders ((1 Samuel 23)), then cut a corner of Saul's robe ((1 Samuel 24)) then dwells with the ((Gentile)) Philistine king Achish of Gath, fighting the enemies of the Philistines, making himself the servant of the ((Gentiles)) Philistines until they will no longer have him. here David uses this Gathite sword to fight alongside the people of Gath against the enemies of Gath ((Gentiles)).

Christ does the same thing; David is a type of Christ.
so what is this sword, why is there none like it, why does he put it behind the ephod wrapped in cloth, retrieve it, unwrapping it - first defend Israel, who would betray him, therefore put Israel to shame with it, go to the Gentiles to the very place from which the sword first came, and make himself the servant and defender of the very ones from which this sword was taken?

how does this speak of Christ?
who does Christ slay, that blasphemes His people?
what weapon does Christ take from him, wrap in cloth and secret behind the garment of the priest in the sanctuary?
when does Christ take up this weapon & defend His people even while they would betray Him?
when does Christ use this weapon to expose the shame of those who would betray Him?
when does Christ take this weapon to dwell among the Gentiles as their Servant & Champion?
what is this weapon, that 'there is none like it' ?

if it is the shorter straight sword with horn-shaped handguard - short for Goliath but twice the size of one fitted for David - is David essentially wielding a bronze-age equivalent of a medieval longsword/hand-and-a-half sword?
does it look anything like a cross?

1. Now, I might as well say, Enough is enough!
Except for Moses Young and you, Nehemiah, I don't see many strong and balanced Christians around. Posthuman is a good man, but he likes to please the ladies! (Still, I love him with Christian love! He's got a sense of humour!)

2. As for the rest, they need to get their act together.
Well let's see, so far you're the only one that has called people names, stirred up strife and judged people you don't know personally. You must be a real treat in person.

3. I am thinking of taking a break from CC. These loony ladies (totally ignorant of God's Word) have not been properly taught the Word of God, and they scream with futile rage when the truth cuts through all their sham and pretense.
Yeah I'm hoping CC makes it a permanent break. I see that in your near future. No one has called you names and here you are attacking fellow Christians yet again. I so hope you don't try to share the Gospel, you self righteous attitude stinks. Having a tattoo has nothing to do with ones salvation.

4. It would have been good to have an intelligent and balanced discussion with men who know God's Word.
Rather hard for them to discuss with someone who has no respect for women. Since you know you're Bible so well you'd know Jesus treated women with love and respect. Or did you skip those verses?

5. I am sorry about De-Emerald. I didn't know that it was a 'he'. The way he/she wrote, it was typically over-excited feminine behaviour. I apologize to him/her. She is a good soul, but misled by her 'girlie gang'. She can take satisfaction from my beautifully designed Bible posters, knowing that I am a true Christian and a gentlemen.
No you're not, you're not sorry at all. You're ignorant. With any luck you'll be banned. And the last thing you are, proven by your words and attitude here, is a gentleman.

6. As regards the rest, they belong to Vanity Fair. They are quite capable of serving Lord Hategood and his villainous gang, who martyred poor Faithful.
Is this his swan song?! Oh, "Charish" the thought!!

7. Well goodbye, Nehemiah, Moses Young, Posthuman and Dean (sorry about my barb! 'undeveloped').
Ugh, longest goodbye ever! Come on, chop, chop. Don't let the door hit ya...

8. And P.S. Tell oldman to keep working on that tattoo on his ring finger. He has to modify it every year - or his wife will take him to task!
Sigh... I think for Oldmans wife we can all say "So glad he's gone!" Now with any luck he's gone in the jungle to preach to monkeys and "real men" and we won't see him round the door again. What a wind bag!!

To the beloved,

The ministry in your pinky is more glorious than the ministry of HarishCharoon. Therefore, he/she saw the need to quickly veil his/her face before you see it fading away. (2Cor3)

I often wonder if these threads are Merely click bait, designed simply for the pleasure of the one stirring Up and frustrating believers. I read about such people but I don’t understand the mentality, unless it is like a naughty child doing what they can to get attention? I really don’t get it. Very sad.

Ask the MS-13 gangsters whether it matters or not. Then ask the Russian mafia -- the Bratva or Brotherhood.
we have many in our church who left gangs but the tattoos are still on them are you willing to pay to have tattoos removed from our saved ex-gang members and sponsor one?

Agreed.

This also makes this site not very safe for the newer believers.

I also wonder if the OP would have the courage to say what he has posted to my face.

At any rate I'm out of here for a while

Ive got 8 tats. And I wonder if OP is more saved than I am? My late wife had 2. So, OP, did she die saved or not?. Your holier than thou attitude might well be a hindrance to new Christians but I wii say to tatooed noobs wanting Jesus that your tats wont condemn you so dont let ignorance discourage you.

his profile says his church is closed due to covid. otherwise I guess he would be there spouting off

I don't know why CC allows these types to remain so long...of course not responding to people like that would also work

There is a lot of "judgmentalism" toward the one that points out that tattoos are unGodly.

No one has suggested these people with tattoos are anymore unGodly than the rest of us sinning wretches. But, the point is, tattoos do not glorify God and disobeys a command not to get them. So does eating too much and becoming obese and having health issues that become life threatening when we are commanded to keep our "temple" in order. Many have tattoos that have regretted receiving them. There is no more judgment against them than there is for any other mourning repentant sinner.

I don't see the need to climb on high horses and point fingers at someone about any of this.

I think I called this one, fairly early. Good to see he won't be back.

How do you know Leviticus 19:28 addresses modern tattoos and not the culture back then?
Really? What does it mean to make print marks upon yourself? And pagans were making tattoos back then just as they are today.
