There is ONLY ONE GOOD CHURCH... this one...

That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

Jinx says you should go and find this one..... Jinx I am looking for 15 years now, where is this church?
one where they make you feel loved, supported, and not stick their hand out all the time. One where when they preach you can safely follow along in your own bible and agree to. A church that preaches the power of the cross, and the saving blood of Christ. In repentance, baptism, infilling of the HOLY SPIRIT, living a good life full of integrity, and good deeds.

you won't find a perfect church, because people are not perfect, but you should be able to find one that comes close enough and forgive them when someone does a minor offense on ya.

I have found one. It is an Apostolic Church. It is my church home, and there is no place like it, anywhere.

good luck on your search :)

I watch Marylin Hickey on TBN. I don't see anything non-biblical about her at all. She's spread the gospel all over the world. She's in her 80's now and still going strong. I've listened to Dr Adrian Rogers, thought he was excellent. Turning Point is a thumbs up. I like Joseph Prince, too.

Ive seen a couple preachers that seemed alittle far so I just flipped to another channel. Satellite offers about 10 giff "religious" channels. One for every denomination.

I have found some good preaching on TBN, also some ridiculous "preaching". I don't like the ones that only talk about "giving and see how much God blesses you..." Or faith healing, most of which I think are faked or at least exaggerated.

I truly appreciate good, solid, Bible based preaching & teaching. I really enjoy it. Any suggestions of avenues other than TV? I listen to Christian radio when in the car; David Jeremiah, James MacDonald, Adrian Rogers...anything wrong with them? (not being sarcastic, really want to know opinions, but please give examples or reasons. I haven't heard anything heretical as far as I can tell.
Well I have heard of both Adrian Rogers and James Macdonald, but just don't know enough about those two to make any suggestions. And for David Jeremiah, watch out for him, as he has that all seeing eye right behind his pulpit. Plus, David Jeremiah has been shown to promote contemplative and new age authors in his book, Life Wide Open. David Jeremiah has been shown to quote New Agers, mystics, and Buddhist sympathizers.

Now if you like good, solid Bible preaching, then you will like Reg Kelly, Al Lacy, David Peacock, Lester Roloff, and Peter Ruckman. So you may want to check and look up each of those Bible Preachers.

Just a suggestion. Take care.

For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.

Well, every tv comes with 2 handy functions. ! changes the channel and the other turns it, thereby eliminating any offensive material.

Will Jesus find faith on earth? Except he shorten the days no flesh would be saved. Thank God for his unmerited favor and his righteous judgment . This is all declared in his words. Have patience so that you will receive the promise. Amen
