I agree... but I'm also, somewhat sympathetic with John on these issues.
I grew up in, roughly, the same era as John, and freedom in sexuality was a very prevalent message.
I was out in the world, so to speak... and sexual freedom was just a simple (false) fact of the times.
It's therefore the zeitgeist that my flesh turns to but must be fought against.

John, isn't ready to it seems.

I am here to try and stop people from misquoting and misapplying scripture.

"“Suppose a man has intercourse with a young woman who is a virgin but is not engaged to be married. If they are discovered, he must pay her father fifty pieces of silver. Then he must marry the young woman because he violated her, and he may never divorce her as long as he lives. Deuteronomy 22:28 ...show me the punishment for any sin.

No, you're not John... you use that as a guise to rail against your not being able to find a wife and still wanting to have sex.

While your points might be salient, your frustration is as concealed as the proverbial elephant in the room.
It's all about your desire to have sex whenever you please... and that the Scriptures forbid it.

Suppose that you stick with the issue... sex outside of marriage is forbidden in Scripture?

Don’t you get it? We don’t have flesh bodies in heaven. There is no gender in a spiritual body. Understand?

If the church had done its job, it would tell singles, "If you want to have sex, get married" None of them do.

That isn't exactly what it says. In Mathew and Mark they say
Mat 22:30
"For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven."
Mark 12:25
"For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven."

It also never says we will be in "Heaven" to be honest, but it seems to suggest that we will have no need for marriage after the resurrection, after we rise from the dead, just like the angels in heaven. We will no longer be worried about sex in the presents of our Lord I think.

I would like to know all the scripture that places us, as human beings, in heaven. I can't think of any and honestly didn't think Heaven was a place we'd ever go. I do not know this and I'm going to look into it now that I've thought about it, I can't think of any scripture that says we will go there, except one that just dawned on me, when Jesus said He was going to build a mansion where we will dwell with Him. I really want to research now! Sorry for the "live in motion" style of this comment, but may main point was we are not going to be angels ever, and these verses say we'd be "as" the angels in heaven. Not we'd be angels.

John, you are always harping on about the wrongs that others do... what about you dealing with you?

Just because there is no marriage in heaven, does not mean there is no sex.
